Noope, he was actually harassed and asked to be left alone because he asked for that beforehand. They wouldn't stop, he urged them again but couldn't help getting angry, which is only logical and understandable.
@@user-dv3ds9in1fhis promised privacy was invaded for no reason, he asked them to stop but they didn't, then sure he had to gesture to get them out, of HIS personal space that he was promised. He was harrased
@@el_tio_Harry and you call him a nazi for what exactly? people like you are whats wrong with this world. labelling people with the worst names because you dont like him or agree with him. the world will chew you up and spit you out for your attitude
@@playlists1168 The total opposite actually, his team are his friends who have a large social media following, for example tantubeats a world famous independent producer, the bird and dude with the ponytail are comedians from social media who he has been friends with for years.
I'm not a fan of his musical style but being kicked out for (apparently) making a gesture at a camera-person after repeatedly asking not to be filmed seems amazingly unfair - you know we'll be hearing more about this saga
@@Max-gu5soyeah, they just looked for any reason to do that because he had conflict with Israel team. It just show how controlled it is. We should stop to watch it. Someone would start new eurosong contest with only European countries
@@MagdaLena7 I didn't want to write it that explicit. But yes, we are talking about the same. I want to pronounce that I don't see this as a left/right thing. The problem is, that parts of our society just don't play fair.
@@MagdaLena7 no, that's not true. You weren't there, you can stop spreading false information. He's a grown man and grown men need to know when to control themselves. The EBU didn't need to disqualify him, but his actions should have consequences.
@@cat_eboy i dont say he should not have consequences. I say it was not enough reason to disqualified him. They just used opurnity. If that happened for example Sweden or Norway that their star would overreact on something I am sure they would not punish them such way.
Sadly like Will Ferrell’s Eurovision movie. There was this quote “The perfect song isn’t the winning song, it’s from the heart”. But I still love The Code as it’s my 2nd favorite after Doomsday Blue and I’m just happy how Israel didn’t take the trophy
The Swedish interviewer giving him the salty licorice as a "challenge" was rather funny. Definitely didn't expect him to go "Nice!". But this is a man who eats raw onion, of course he likes salty licorice!
@@callosamiusprometheus7350 Yes I know! I’m most familiar with Dutch licorice, my mom loves it. That’s why it’s weird the Swedish guy thought it’d be a challenge!
The guy was literally just having fun with his friends during all this journey being authentic and opened despite all the inner struggle he described in his song‘s lyrics. He enjoyed the show living his dream even though in the end it wasn’t worth him at all
"I am inside of you right now. And I hope you will come inside m-" "I can go everywhere, I can go places; in the buttcrack where nobody comes." "I SEE YOU EBU, YOU'RE SCARED! YOU'RE SCARED FOR THE BOOMBOOM!" literally the only guy ever
@@evefairy7740 Joost is very much an ally of the LGBT community and always has been. I have been following him since he made Scandinavian Boy and same for Appie (the blue bird). So please stop spewing BS lol
Joost is a Crazy Frog 🐸 fan. 1:56 and 1:19 When he was young his older brother gave him a cd of Crazy Frog. It inspired him. While all artists sung their own song in this bathroom thing at the Malmö Arena he chose the Crazy Frog song. People who don’t know this might think he’s just being goofy with a random song. In fact he’s thanking his brother for giving him one of the cd’s that inspired him as a child and as an adult. Without this, Europapa wouldn’t exist. In the Europapa music video, a poster of Crazy Frog is seen in the bedroom. Joost hardly ever does anything without a reason.
For me personally, I hate the Crazy Frog. Always thought the Axel F song was cringy and annoying. However, I’ve never expected to see another perspective towards the song. In fact, something so heartwarming I was almost going to shed tears. Throughout my life, I remember the song for being a horrible cover to the original Axel F song from Beverly Hills Cop and the many criticism behind it being one of the worse songs in existence (Or just the 2000s). Never have I ever seen a fan of it. Never have I ever seen it would make a huge impact. Now I wish someone with a Wikipedia account can add that in the legacy or pop culture section
It’s even referenced in one of his songs where he sings ”Ich ware funf Jahre alt mit einer Crazy Frog Kasette” (i was five years old with a crazy frog cassette)
Thank you for sharing with us this story ..i hope wherever he is to feel his fans love and support to his effort to give us all the beautiful things of his sool and entertain us as well ..we are with you joost👏☝️✌️
cha cha cha and europapa are basically the same song best song in their year, big shoulders, funny guys with mustache, entire audience cant resist but to sing along, eurochacha was the most iconic duo of the century
What about Cha Cha Cha with Rim Dim Tagi Dim? Both fan favorites where the crowd was singing along with them, puffy sleeves, highest televote yet 2nd place, inspired by Rammstein, have simps?
When tyrants make an example of somebody, they should take care not to elevate them into martyrdom. It's a very powerful thing, when a person transcends personhood and becomes the incarnation of an idea. Doesn't even matter if you're branded as god or demon, Jesus or Hitler. Once you put somebody above humanity in any quality (kindness or cruelty in those cases), you can't get rid of their ideas, only suppress them. We get a pocket version of that right now within the confines of the ESC-Bubble. Personally, I will never look at the contest the same. Thinking it's rigged and knowing it's rigged, are two very different things.
Well, Joost is being loved in many countries now ;-) But he was live on stage this evening in Enschede, The Netherlands at "Freshtival" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T1hloNBCfoI.html
Besides Olly Alexander, I didn’t know everyone else. While this is the worse Eurovision year ever, I can’t fully hate it because it still had some heartwarming moments and honestly I wouldn’t get to know some icons without this competition
That man is a national treasure and he is innocent in my eyes. He's so silly it's amazing XD. I agree with what he did and he shouldn't have gotten punished
i held out from listening to europapa until the semis and the energy he brought to stage was incredible, you could just see him beaming with joy just by being there, plus the whole arena cheering him on and singing along was incredible incredibly sad how he was denied fulfilling his dream, but i am glad he came as close as he did, he has my heart
He is extremely intelligent, opinionated and brave to say what he believes. And he does all these with humour. People love you- most streamed song on Spotify! ❤❤❤❤ Netherlands won!!! They were afraid of him and of his sharp mind!!!go Joost!
Joost was so right when he said: "I will do something Sweden has never seen"... and he walked straight into the hearts of the people of the world... well, except for the EBU that is... and a few haters maybe .. :)
I cant believe what the fucking EBU did. JOOST WAS AND IS SO SPECIAL. SHAME on them for disqualifying him for such a fucking joke of a an incident 😂. EUROPAPA 4Ever.❤
