I loved my morning coffee ,but I stopped 2 months ago.and I have to say my headaches and anxiety have improved so much ,having stopped caffeine.

I have stopped drinking coffee from past one year...it has really helped me in lessening my hot flushes and i am much relaxed too..Thanks Eileen for one more useful and interesting topic❤

I stopped cold turkey a few times and I was very miserable! So what I do now for a few years now is first have a glass of water, then drink my coffee about 60-90 minutes later. I’ve been hearing a lot of research on that. First thing when I woke up was wreaking havoc on me. So far the way I described has been working for me. Oh and thats my only cup for the day ❤ it’s very doable ladies. Blessed day everyone!

I cut down from e times to one time and decaffeinated. I do take with milk and sugar. still my feeling of fluttering of heart or deep sighing at times, or lightheaded continues. No remedy yet. I am.in perimenopause stage . I am living with it

The best thing I could have done was step away from one cup of coffee every am. My gastro problems and hot flashes stopped. I switched cold turkey to hot green tea in the am, and mix in my powder collagen. I switch off some days and have a roasted dandelion spice tea.

💚Thank you for your videos. Any information on what happens to symptoms (night sweats & hot flush) when women switch to decaf coffee? I would be more inclined to switch to decaf than to eliminate my favorite beverage.💜

It varies from person to person but some switching to decaf helps and for others picking an organic option helps a lot. Others can still drink coffee once they increase their water intake and others find drinking coffee on a full stomach helps. Try these out and see what works best for you :)

My husband makes me a cappuccino every morning and I savour it because the rest of the day I drink loads of water and I love my herbal teas. I used to have 2 coffees a day and I found it made me feel awful and I feel much now and I absolutely enjoy my relaxing herbal teas they are helping my peri symptoms thank you Eileen for discussing this topic x

I always have a hot water first thing in the morning and one coffee at around 11 am. Rest of the day is tea and hot water.

I only have 1 coffee and I tea in the morning, everything else is herbal or Decaff and water. Unfortunately I have debilitating fatigue from the afternoon and intermittent period pain, no periods for 4/5 months. My hot sweats happen when I go to bed. Also feeling like i want to make huge life decisions!! Thank you for your very informative channel ❤

Can you do a video on the proper way to stop taking HRT? I'm having vascular issues that started 6 months in on Estradiol patch 0.025 & Micronized Progesterone USP capsule vaginally inserted at bedtime. This is month 11 & the vascular issues in my legs & feet are very serious & I've never had any prior issues before HRT. My primary care provider thinks it's the HRT causing it. My menopause specialist says cut the patch in half & keep taking it & I was told by menopause specialist to be checked out for DVT/PE, vascular issues, possible neurological issues. My pharmacist says stop cold turkey & some say wean down. I'm on low dose anyway. I thought a video regarding this topic might help many women deciding to stop HRT.

Hi I'm really sorry but we can't give individual advice on coming off HRT medication as only a healthcare professional can do this. There is so much conflicting information but in this kind of situation we recommend the patient to follow their own doctor's advice, rather than anyone else's, as they will be aware of the specific combination of HRT and the best and safest way to come off it. I only drink half a cup on Saturdays and Sundays now. It was make me dizzy for so long so I stopped it . But weekend is ok and I find I need to eat shortly after the cup. In the past, I could wait for hours before eating but now it makes me shake etc unless I eat
