Hi! It’s hard to know how long you should stay in SA because it depends with how long the visa process will take. The length of the process varies from one person to the other. My visa came out after 2 weeks but I returned back home after I submitted the application in Pretoria. Once I knew the visa was out I then sent back my passport through FedEx.

If you study the master there, is there time for travel? In the Schengen area of Spain and Berlin ?? Do you mean, do I have time to travel as a master's student? Thank you
It depends with your study schedule, but yes it is possible to create time for travelling. You can travel to Spain and Germany, its part of the Schengen area :)

Hi @kuziva glad you’re coming! My university gave me a guideline on how to apply at the embassy of Hungary in Pretoria. They provided me with a checklist ie letter of acceptance from the university, bank statements, sponsorship letter, proof of accommodation, health insurance. I went to Pretoria for my appointment and biometrics. I hope this information helps 😇🤞🏽

@@kuzivakwashemapanda939 I got the visa only from the embassy in SA then when I arrived in Hungary I went to collect my resident permit at the immigration office since it was already available. From my experience I had to collect it within 31 days upon arrival in Hungary

Hi, Unfortunately you cannot transfer. You have the following options..#1. You can drop the degree you are currently studying and start a new degree here in Hungary #2 You can wait until you finish your current degree then apply to Hungary. :)
After being accepted you can try to have your credits transferred on by one for each subject. You have to have a copy for the syllabus and your grade book. You cannot have more than half the programs credits accepted. Whether the university will accept a subject or not is up to them, it's hard to tell in advance. General ed, and other non-core subjects have a better chance of getting accepted.
