I am 71 years old and single in my own home and I have 25 tomato plants growing outside. I have kale and arugula and green beans and lemon grass and mint and thyme and parsley and basil. I know where the food is coming from, and it also gives me exercise and a reason to go outside every day. I love your channel.

@@johngreen8922 I obviously got more out of it than you did. Here you come trying to start some BS. Find somebody else to bother and shake your head at, please. I don't have time for you today, John Green. Go pray and leave me alone.
@@ladybugauntiep Ladybug, who am I to judge? I have to get the planks out of my own eyes first. You and I know that santification is a process. For all I know, Dr. Bobby could be the apple of God's eye, a man after God's own heart. Why am I talking about this man in this way, who I do not know personally? Do I enjoy the content on his page? Yes. It is good and healthful info? Yes. I don't understand why I have to explain myself for making a general comment about him mentioning God. At least he has sense enough to realize there is a God, the One True God. God is a delicate subject on this page. I honestly don't know what else to say. What is the issue? Is it the fact that he said the name God or that he didn't? Is the issue the fact that I acknowledged that he did say it? I mean John Green made an issue about it. 🙄 I mean, is the issue with Dr. Bobby, with me, or with God? A snippet of what Dr. Price said had to do with him correlating God and nature, giving God props, and all I did was like what he said. I appreciate anyone in this day and time who's not fearful to do so. It's okay to speak about God/Jesus in a good way. Let's leave this subject alone, please, because this is not the platform or page to have an indepth discussion regarding The Father. The responses could become extremely lengthy and take all kinds of twists and turns. Peace 🤗
They have container size fruits and veggies you can grow in your house in front of a window..they have small tomatoes, peppers, egg plants, you can grow green onions and things like that. When I was in the city I raised quail and rabbits in my basement. There's a way around everything to be a bit more self sufficient. I hope I gave you some ideas.
Thank you for all that you do. I am on my 8th day of the detox. My labs came back excellent and my health is great. My blood pressure is normalizing. The goals is to be completely off the meds this year. I feel amazing. I have lost 12 pounds. I stop craving food products. I stopped feeling like I needed to eat all the time. I got my energy back. I am definitely going in the direction God has for me. Walking and living in wholeness. Mind, Body, and Spirit. I am almost finished Vegucation over Medication. Wow. Life Changing. When I was growing up in North Philly, my mother who was from South Georgia had a garden. We grew up eating fresh vegetables and home cooked meals. I loved watching her in the garden. I can't wait to start mine, until then I will purchase from you. I keep you lifted in prayer because you are doing a powerful work. Walking with God to transform lives.
I just purchased and received my detox and the day before I planned to begin I had to go to urgent care and was rushed from there to the hospital for emergency surgery (a large kidney stone). I started a garden 4 years ago in my backyard, small corner lot. The backyard is not big but is full of raised beds and fruit trees. I appreciate finding your channel because it has served as confirmation of the path God has been directing me to. The HOA of my neighborhood has an issue with “my” backyard being a garden and not grass AND you are not allowed to have chickens. I wish I had paid better attention growing up. My grandparents raised and grew just about everything they ate right in the backyard of their home, rabbits, chickens, and all manner of vegetables and fruit. I hardly ever saw either of them in a grocery store. Now I understand why and feel a level of urgency in getting my family set before things change more than they already have. I look forward to starting the detox and broadening my scope of eating real nourishing, real food. Thank you for all you do! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Its great to be somewhere tropical to grow your own food. My dad lives in jamaica and he grows everything, pineapple, watermelon, mangoes etc. I live in Massachusetts and i grow tomatoes, peppers etc on my front porch, im a single woman , that sees the need for growing my own stuff, health wise.
I'm single also but, I want to grow my own food because that is the wise thing to do. They don't care about us 😢 that is why THE MOST HIGH gives us wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. WISDOM is the principal thing but with ALL that getting HE said, get understanding .😊 Things we don't know THE MOST HIGH has given us people like this young man, and Mrs Pam that has knowledge to share with us and other people. THE ALMIGHTY knows what to do. 😊 Let us stick together by sharing with each other knowledge in this matter and or other principles on this life's journey. ❤️
I'm just starting my first garden (raised bed). I had my first salad from my garden and I'll tell you, eating something that you know where it comes from, what soil it was grown in and is fresh (not sitting for weeks) was amazing.
Hey Dr. Price, Thank you for the video. I have heard other commentary on the possibility of growing food on your own property becoming illegal and the thought of it saddens me…profits and control…😢 I am glad that God gave you the presence of mind to do what you do!🙏🏾 The farm is beautiful and hearing the winds blowing (and seeing the effects of it) is just serene…I’ve got to order some fruits!❤
Dont get discouraged by this beautifully said information , we break rules everyday b 😭 im still growing my own with or without anyones permission 💯 ill take it up with god.
12:02 I stopped eating beef years ago after I got sick from eating a beef burger. … I don’t eat pork nor fried meats, foods for the past 20 years. I started reading & researching for myself about healthy eating, Mediterranean eating, & overall health because I wanted to feel better when I got up in the morning. I felt then food was the major connection to it all.
I was reminded of scripture when God planted a garden and put Adam in it. So glad to see you reconnecting with the Creator through what he has given us bountifully to enjoy heal and restore our bodies. ❤🍉🥬🥑
I agree.with you my bother. I have been planting up my back for many years now. That’s how I grew up. Sometime last year I got wort that the FDA wants everyone to to register their backyard garden. I’m refusing to do it. I haven’t heart it again since. They are going after the Amish farmers. Keeping you in prayers🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I recently discovered your podcast. Thank you!. My family brought a small homestead right before the pandemic. We have been growing organic vegetables. We have planted several fruit trees. Reconnecting with natural matters. We are what we eat.
I really understand the benefit of griwing my own food. I've got tomatoes, cucumbers, greens, okra, squash, peanut, watermelon, mangoes trees, passion fruit, pineapples, hot peppers, and herbs. All here in Central Florida. I know what I'm eating! I am learning a lot from watching your videos!
Peace and blessings to you Dr. Price. I have been growing and gardening for about 20 years. It brings me so much joy to see what God has done in my life, especially when I see the abundance that that is giving as I harvest the fruits of my labors. I have a picky 14-year-old granddaughter. Yesterday her mom brought back 8 empty canning jars. I had over 300 lbs. of Barlette pears that I canned this year. I made over 50 quarts. My granddaughter and her mom dad and little sister really enjoyed them. It does make a difference when you grow you own food. I also have started growing other varieties of trees. I have several avocado plants, Mango Plants, fig plants, Apple trees, orange tree plants, Lemon trees and I've even was able to get a few of my favorite Sour Sop seeds to grow to small plants. My problem is I don't have enough land here in North Carolina and I don't know is they will survive since we have 4 seasons here. Do you have any suggestions?

Bayer which is an Monsanto company, just put out a GMOed sweeter tasting Mustard Green that is already being served in restaurants and due to hit grocery stores by October.
Peace and blessings I so enjoyed your farm with our tribe family last week and to taste the amazing food you grow there on the farm. Blessing as always. Happy Father’s Day!!!❤
Uncle Bobby Price : I am still in high school and my horticulture teacher had me doing research on what states in america prohibit american citizens from growing their own food and having a community or private garden. There is no state in the United States where it's generally illegal to grow your own food and have a garden. In fact, there are laws in some states specifically protecting this right.
You can grow Soursop in a big pot and keep it in a well sheltered spot in your garden, and if you don't have a garden, you can still grow it in a big pot and keep it on the balcony, een if it doesn't fruit, you will have the leaves for tea. There are some excellent videos on RU-vid on tips for growing Soursop and Moringa in pots. May The Lord Jesus Christ Bless You, AMEN.
Gardening of any plant life is a lesson in the role and responsibilities of nurturing the quality of relationships to influence the most beneficial outcomes.
Thanks much for continuously educating us Dr. Bobby. It’s a joy to eat what you grow and grow what you eat,the Slogan from The late Maurice Bishop of 🇬🇩 Grenada.
I really need to go home back to Jamaica I have all these fruit trees on my land , in Florida I have to drive over one hour just to get watermelon with seeds.
This video is powerful in so many ways!! I appreciate you pointing out how important it truly is to grow your own food. Plus be aware of what is trying to be controlled
Been growing fruit tree guilds in my yard up here in by little space here in Queens. Mastered it sort of so going to do the same now on my land in Trinidad. I was just praying today because I bought organic cucumbers, but realized the label said they were from Mexico. There was a recent salmonella outbreak for cucumbers that killed several people so I just threw them out. I'm praying because I've been searching for land to buy in NC, but it's barely any properties with land near me. I'll definitely start growing my own cucumbers and tomatoes.
You spoke nothing but facts! Thank you so much. I’m even more inspired to see what I can do to start growing my own food. It makes me so angry how food has been commodified in this way and it’s terrifying to think how it could be illegal to grow your own food in the future. Please could you do a detailed video series about how to source, buy and maintain this kind of land as this is something I’d love to do as well
BARUK & SHALOM DR. PRICE I wanted to ask you about that saying.... "We are what we eat", If I eat preserved food, does that make me a preserved woman or if not what is the gardened essentials that may utilize to preserve my body all in all ??? Thank you , Shukriah, ShuShu for caring so much about humanity and thee upliftment of Hamanity and the Healing of MY MAJESTY'S NATIONS OF HIS PEOPLES !!!
Pineapple is a wonderful fruit with MANY nutritional benefits, of all the fruit in your bowl that you mentioned you negatively spoke about it yet you mentioned growing also the original version of the Pineapple as well, WHAT is your issue with nutrtitous & delicious pineapple?
I ordered your fruit box and loved it. The white sapote and soursop were my favorites. The tree tomatoes were good too as something on the savory side. I used the egg fruit to make some muffins. The color was amazing, and they went really well with red curry ginger vegetable soup that I made.
Love brotha, i have a question, i am currently growing squash, cucumber, tomato, cilantro, basil, carrots, peas, I live in michigan, what du yu suggest tu folks whu cain't grow year round? Thank yu brotha
.Well, I would say learn to grow seasonally and learn how to can, dry/dehydrate and otherwise preserve what you grow in the summer. You can start things like kale, cauliflower and other brassicas in the late summer/early fall and not only get a crop before deep winter, but they may all survive into the following spring.
Brother, I've been following your channel for some months now, and I'm compelled to get into well living, I thought that I was but not now. I'm really interested in you detox system. I just downloaded your startup e-book. I know that I will be ordering soon. Thanks for your great work, please keep it up, God bless your brother!!!
ThankYou for information. I just started growing my veggies. I have a garden at my Senior center . I enjoy growing my own veggies. I don't use any chemical on my veggies. I learn alot from this video👍👍👍👍Thank you 👍👍👍👍❤
Thanks you for continuing to educate us all on how to live a healthier lifestyle. I'm growing some cucumbers and squash on my land right now and my husband just put up a 60 Ft. greenhouse where we will be growing some veggie, herbs and fruits in the cold months, but in the meantime i placed an order from your website, this is the second time, i can't wait to receive it. Peace and Continued Blessing ❤
For me the eating of the whole fruit or vegetables is ate however me found that now there is a wax coating on supermarket products Thanks for ENCOURAGING the community again
Thank you Dr Price, each time I watched your video, I learnt something. Greatly appreciated! Blessings always. I purchased organic oranges, limes, grapefruits, and papaya and they are all seedless, I am so disappointed. What do you do, when you're not able to plant?
I have a fairly big back yard and would LOVE to start a garden. However I live next to a chemical plant. What are some ways to go about planting? I'm thinking a covering of some sort, but don't want to block the sun. Also I have seen raised boxes so I can avoid the chemicals in the ground. Any other suggestions? 🌱🌧️🌞
Peace and Blessings indeed Dr. Bobby! Very inspiring as always! I’m definitely planning on growing my own food in the near future. I have plenty of space and want to turn this brown thumb into a green one! I’m not sure if any of the fruits you presented will grow in the climate/area I live in, but I can’t wait to see the outcome! Hard to believe that food will actually be a scarcity one day. GMOs are not the solution…just the stuff of old sci-fi movies. 🔬 Thanks for keeping us informed Dr. Bobby! 🍍🥑🍈
where am I going to grow my own food, stay in an apartment, lol, funny I was born in the island and grew up there so i know exactly what you are saying, loved it
Watching another one of your videos and definitely agree that it could become illegal in places or most places in the US to grow your own food. I am so glad we are here in Ghana. There is a level of freedom that we don’t have there. We are able to grow our own food And have our 50 acre Farm without a bunch of regulations. Half of our farm is planted with Coconut. We also have plantain cassava etc we have quite a nice size garden and then a smaller garden here at our house as well as many fruit trees. We are not meat free therefore we do raise our own animals and no exactly what is going into their bodies.
A manager from supermarket confessed about fruits and veggies are mostly modified into a seeds. That’s why it’s a lot of seedless fruits and they control what products to sale by modified those seeds.
❤❤❤ I just love this video. You on point brother. When I was in Hawaii visiting, neighbors had a sour sop tree and mango tree I asked if I could get some they said whenever you like help yourself. I wanted to use the soursop leaves to make a tea for my aunt circulation.
Dr. Price, those are tropical fruits and I live in Kentucky. I can't just go out in my backyard and grow these. What suggestions would you have for someone like me?
I just started my first small raised bed garden in buckets (zucchini, edamame, peppers, roma tomatoes , beets, mint, sweet & regular basil, celery, ocra & strawberries (1 plant died due to overwatering. I also a cedar raised bed of collard greens, but I wanted to know if using the Miracle-geo potting soil mixed with Scotts top soil has been a good choice? And if using the Miracle-gro dry food to aid in a good yield was a good healthy idea or if I need to go with a more natural/holistic soil & if so, what is it?
