There is nothing like a fast stick shift car i mean a true h pattern normal clutch stick shift not the clutchless and all this other fancy stuff. I absolutely love seeing fast stick shift cars and people who dont follow others doing an auto. Anyone can go fast with an auto but a stick shift actually takes skill to operate at maximum potential. I have way more respect for a stick going 8.70s than a stalled auto going several tenths faster. Its just more imoressive to me and way more cool. I also love that he has a basic built 4v it just shows what those things are capable of in a world where everyone thinks you gotta go coyote to be fast. Love it much respect..
Yeah I hear a lot of folks on the internets that say Modular’s are trash, just coyote swap it. Nonsense. Nothing against coyotes, I have a 15 gt and an 03 cobra.
Wow what a awesome build, that 4.6L 4V with those boost levels is unreal for that motor holding together, it just goes to show how tough these New Edge motors are, and how fast they can be, awesome build, Thanks for sharing Evan.
Mustang getting it done Ford power forever baby a real Chevy and dodge killer l love it keep on bringing it great content as always looking forward to seeing the next one
i have been street racing my bb 4 speed nos 66 comet for over 40 years.no way i would go auto.im 61 and i have owned and raced and daily driven it since i was19 and i got my bb at 15 till i found the comet body when i got out of high school.since then i have put 2 390s and a 428 in it,which is in it now with a 200 shot
When you gonna steer away from the FE,s and try out a 429-460 set-up ? Can get lot's of cubic inches with a stock block and a nice stroker rotating assy. And i don't think there's any FE style cylinder head that can come close to some of the good aftermarket 429-460 heads, like from Kaase or Trickflow.
@@badass6.0powerstroke10 i would but i dont want to cut my shock towers out.in 40 years i have never seen another 66 caliente with a fe 4 speed buckets and tach.that stuff was cyclone goodies.i know you can get much more power out of a 385 series but im an old man and its getting too late to change over and be serious
@@LoneWrencher i gotcha, I'm starting to get up there myself, the FE engines were a little before my time, messed around with Clevelands for a while, in my Foxbody Mustang then went the 385 BBF route, first with 460, then stroked to 521, looking to go even bigger now with aftermarket block and a little better cylinder head. I definitely hear you about cutting out your shock towers, lotta work, better to keep what's working for you.
Ive had the pleasure of speaking to kyle on instagram a few times, suuuuuper nice guy, didn’t hesitate to have a conversation with me about the car, those are the kinda car people we need
@@jmak03cobra66 Just like a guy that lives near me that has a new 500Gt and claims he runs 10.50's at 134 mph stock from the factory with the stock tires.. Right! No one has seen him at the drag strips and have never seen his car run.
@@jmak03cobra66 Are you serious? I don't remember Ford ever stating that kind of performance factory stock for the GT500. That is insane especially for me growing up in the 60's-70's and muscle car era when a mid 13 second car factory stock was a monster and few were able to do that (426 hemi, 440 6 bbl, Buick Stage 1, Chevelle SS 454 LS6 etc)
