Last year my crush rejected me and he made our friendship so awkward for a while, whenever I just tried to have a simple conversation without being awkward, he’d speak in such an awkward tone and tried avoiding me sometimes but I don’t like him anymore and our friendship is so much better now

Sounds like my situation with my female bff, everybody around us thinks and feels theres sparks flying, even I, but every time i make a slight move she withdraws. I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other. I heard that lesbian relationships are healthier because they understand each other. If both partners understand each other, they won’t want to break up with each other. I also heard that women have higher rates of depression when married (in straight relationships). There is a very small percent of women that are happy in heterosexual relationships. So it's very hard for men and women to bond with each other and have a strong bond with each other. Both men and women think differently, behave differently, react in a different way. The more similar two people are, the easier it is to relate and understand each other, resulting in a better, more fulfilling connection. I also read somewhere that even with the divorce rates what they are, most heterosexual marriages that don't end in divorce are still unhappy, and can absolutely relate to experiencing significantly more depression while married than while single.

Have you ever heard the term "opposites attract"? Different things compliment each other very well, causing for a healthy relationship and a filling-in-the-gaps of other people. Think about color matching your favorite outfit. You likely don't wear all red, as it can look a little funky. Usually you wear a combination, like green and blue, yellow and green, etc. These colors aren't necessarily polar opposites, but there are enough differences to create beauty in contrast. You get to learn from your partner things you wouldn't have known otherwise, viewed from a perspective you otherwise wouldn't have looked from. Now, reacting in the same way is different. You don't have to react in the same way to have a partner you love and cherish, but as long as it doesn't get in the way of life, it doesn't majorly impact it. The sun shines on the ocean and the desert alike, and both benefit alike, yet they are two completely separate things. While I may not fawn over a cat the same way my partner does, we both think it is adorable and appreciate it. I may enjoy washing the dishes even if my partner doesn't, but whatever way the wind blows, the dishes are done. Do you see where I'm going with this? You don't need an identical perspective to see the same answer, and mutually reap the rewards. Also, you cannot say that heterosexual marriages simply don't work just because the divorce rate is high. 9 times out of 10, it is the foolishness of one side, or the lack of commitment from both. In marriages you find working, neither side is perfect, but they find a harmony in imbalance that counteracts the need to always be right, or never argue, which is the result of love. Marriage is no light matter, and unfortunately many do take it as such, lose commitment, and fall out. But those who do truly find love, will love each other unconditionally, will not seek others, will not separate because of a minor disagreement. These are the marriages that are truly successful.

Do it without any intention of confessing your love, remember ur asking her out to a date to get to know each other. The girlfriend zone is basically when a guy makes you feel all kinds of feelings, but as it turns out he has a girlfriend despite him flirting with you a while back. I don’t have borderline, but talking to people is very difficult and that I do relate to… I am learning recently that I may have misophonia though, so uhm Talking to people while they are eating is gross lol

@@setraline2863 i have borderline and i display these traits: feeling empty/angry, paranoid thoughts, fear of abandonment, i can't recognize who i am, impulsive, unstable relationships, and having moods/feelings lasting from few minutes to maybe even days and those have been in my life for many years. And because of those i find it hard to talk to people and i am also socially awkward in person like i am quiet and i always have a hard time talking like it is extremely hard to talk to anyone. (I also don't self harm which is what other borderline people do)

I had very physical relationship with another crush…I miss her too!

It does hurt, it probably wont be easy to get over it but what you need to do is find your focus. Remember what else is important to you and set your mind to that. That chapter of your life might be over, but your life is not. so you need to do what you must to stay strong and keep moving forward.

You really have nothing to worry about, to be honest, many people probably dont realize that, especially women, that men very much appreciate women that can say something openly,freely, to aproach men... nonetheless, go talk to him and tell him, nothing bad can happen and life is too short to be scared or be constantly thinking after few years "what my life would be if i just approached him?"... so... i wish you best luck and go for it!

Maybe I can help a bit. 🤔 Every person is different so I can't say this goes for everybody with ADHD. When I have a crush on someone, if they're not looking, I would want to see glimpses of them without drawing too much attention to myself or risk making them feel uncomfortable. I think this has more to do with the fact that I'm reserved. I also try to be friendly without being too obvious but sometimes I say things that are kind of hinting them that I like them. It's really hard. 🙃
