I'm still a beginner with Hdest so I don't know much about addons but I love focus zoom and bryans weapons pack I suggest you check Hdest addon list on google to find more Hdest addons
Since you already mentioned the great Night Shift, I can't stay and not mention the other mods by the same guy! Nightmare Logic and NL2 are my absolute favorite tactical/survival horror mods for Doom. Slow movement, simple mechanics, low ammo counts but powerful guns. If I wanted super complex I'd be playing STALKER Gamma or Arma!
I am happy for you showing LitDooM and mainly Hideous Destructor. These 2 are my favorite mods from DooM community, and I want to make more brazilians that likes Milsims to get interested in Hideous Destructor.

Great video! And thank you for using my fork of Bryan's Weapons submod! I added the "milsim mode" because I found it too easy fighting the normal unarmoured enemies. Glad to see people enjoying it.
Consider trying The Citadel, it's a mix of DOOM and F.E.A.R. style combat with a good chunk of resource management. You can turn off the cyborg anime girls exploding into gibs if you prefer lol
NOTE: Do not use Bryan's Weapons Pack, it is outdated. Instead use the fork of it called "Modern Weapons", which is more up to date and has additional weapons.
This really proves the versatility of the doom engine. If you want to you don't even have to make a doom like fps, you could make your own new i.p fps game with the engine.
while there is a lot of people who get intimidated by the complexity of HD it provides some great moments for comedy. you might consider looking at the other HD packs such as ugly as sin, peppergrinder, bangers and mash, ace corp stuff, the icarus pack, swampy's pack, cozi's offworld wares and then lots of one offs like the stuff from benitiz. UAS differs from the rest as it's focus is more on adding more interesting tools for your playthrough. the trauma kit is a great example of this but there's all sorts of other examples from ammo pouches, flares and glowsticks, there's a whole lot more but but the rest are mostly weapon packs with one or two utilities as well.
Maybe Lethal Doom could have entered, it feels like being a fairly prepared civilian, or being someone like Duke Nukem or Serious Sam, the weapons are quite good and with their alternatives it already gives it a tactical touch like the pistol with a silencer, if you stay no first aid kits or armor you just have to drink or smoke lol
Hideous Destructor is a mod that captured my soul. Im suffering trough it rn, hard to win E2M2 in one take without dying. Im trying to record it all with a rule if i die i start level from autosave. Those damn imps make this level hard as fuck

Thing i love about doom wads and mods is i can play mostly all of them on my potato ass work laptop. Its the only pc i have and it's amazing i have all this new content to play through. Same with duke nukem 3d. I am loving the alien Armageddon mod for duke.

There was a terminator wad/mod made years ago... or well it had a Terminator futuristic vibe to it. Levels were all originally made... I just can't remember the name of it.
i tend to respect Feet on the grounds Creator for making a Realism mod that is easier to pick up and play then hideous destructor if anyone did not enjoy HD for being hard to pick up and play

Why wen I play war rooster ther is a transparent arcvile or machine guner the can phase tru walls and dissappear in a little bit and also it can attack
Hi! War Rooster dev here. As you may have noticed, the mod is inspired in the Vietnam War, but in the context of Doom. The ghost monsters you see are PTSD flashbacks of the character and can't hurt you. Hope that helps. Peace!
