8 Steps I Took To Start My Airbnb Business (easy) 

Starting my own Airbnb has been on my radar to starting up another source of income. So far I'm up to 7 sources, and real estate has been the next one to cross off. Thanks for sharing! Great content!

There were actually 7 steps. He missed step 5. 1. Plan your business. 2. Create a legal entity (LLC) 3. Register for taxes (EIN) 4. Create a bank account 5. Get short term rental permits / Licensing 6. Get Business Insurance 7. Create an action plan, execute.

With all due respect to the author of this video but he’s not saying anything about actual Airbnb business. He’s talking about steps how to open your legal entity and business checking account, insurance, permits and etc. All of that is useful of course, for those people who never ran their own business before but I was kinda waiting to hear the details about how Airbnb is set up and how to actually run it. Thank you

There is more money in making videos about starting a business then actually doing the business.

Thank you for your good tips. My opinion is don't tell people to set their own LLC. That is illegal advice. If you are an attorney you can give such advice. Else ask them to use the state bar referral service to find a less expensive attorney who will help you do that. You won’t know if your legal document will hold water until you have to test them. Then you will wish you had done them right. Believe me.

Im 19 from Norway and VERY interested and motivated to getting started with tentamen arbitrage. Unfortunately this is not allowed in Norway for more then 60 days a year…. I have been considering to move to the US or another country to achieve this dream of mine to get financally free. But i am quite scared of moving and doing this all by my self. I would recommend to use accountant to make Llc… even Llc sounded like the same to all people either 500$ or $50…but the way of setting up Llc will save you tax at the end of the year. It will cost you a lot more to fix it… I was there before $26 k tax paid for a wrong Llc set up and then save more than 10$k after fix next year plus 2k to fix it.. still LLC

I just finished Tai Lopez’s HSMC program, and I’m getting started. My question for you: Did you have to borrow money to fund your first property? If so, how did you do it? I don’t have the funds to rent a place +furnishings/cleaning/etc. I’m going to pitch this business plan to a local real estate investment group this Monday. Do you have any advice on that?

Most banks offer a business account for free if you keep $1000 in the account. If you dip below $1000 or whatever their amount is, then you get a charge. Ask at least 3 banks what they offer.

He is deliberately making a simple Airbnb business sound complicated. Check with your city to make sure the city has no prohibition against short term rentals...then LIST your property.

I wanna ask one question, a real one ! I am an Airbnb host and I am living in Toronto. One of the guest who booked my place for quarantine stopped by Montreal airport border officers and given 2 option , Quarantine in Quebec province or deport. I was his only contact in the Country and he asked my help. I did. I trusted a guy whom I never met before and made a booking $600 for his 14 day quarantine stay in Montreal. This is his 2nd day of stay. I received a message from Airbnb and it says they are not supporting this reservation anymore and cancelled, without giving a reason. I am at home , you are at home , our families at home , Where are you Brian ? where is Airbnb ? Are you busy with making another dramatic video that saying how you care about others health ?

What does short term rental fall under, as far as applying for the LLC......, Real Estate rental?

Hi robert, I have a question about for a beginner and someone who still needs to work full time do you suggest that you should outsource the cleaning crew, and a manager for your first airbnb listing? Or should I try and do it all myself until I can get more listings going?

So when creating a LLC company, does it need to be just for Airbnb or anyLLC company would work. Let’s say I have a “Construction, LLC” the one I use to do construction. Can I use the same company?

I downloaded the Airbnb app. I looked at prices for rentals in both Harrisburg PA which is my current location, and also in Pinellas County Florida. I'm seeing prices in the range of 30 - 60 bucks a night. I'm not really understanding how that could be very profitable unless you owned or rented at least a dozen properties. It seems to me that it's a good way to make a few extra dollars for a person who already owns their own home, or is renting. I'm totally open to any feedback on this opinion. I'm seriously interested in this.

Hi! I have a question about how to manage airbnb account if we have more places. I will be super glad if you can give me some tips. I will have second hostel and both are on Airbnb. So for me will be easier to have another phone number to know immediately from which place clients are calling. But also I'm primary host in my account, so btw always people will contact with my main phone number which I'm using in the first hostel. Because also I receive many massages on whatsaap and always I have to check who is writing. If I will have another phone with another number and Co- host I think will be easier. What do you think bout it? Regards

AirBnB also says it will receive complaints about unruly clients but that is a lie. They don't care. We need to change the law and prosecute them for destroying neighborhoods across America with noise pollution and toxic lung damaging vapors from leaf blowers going on for hours at a time several times a week, not to mention that even the EPA recommends decibel noise not exceed 75 decibels, above which hearing loss occurs and that is permanent. AirBnB is ruthless, callous and doesn't even have the decency to promote low noise electric leaf blowers. They truly are a scourge on America. They more they destroy neighborhoods the more there will be pushback and banning them and their noise leaf blowers ruining people's lives and destroying property values. It gets much, much worse. AirBNB destroys nice neighborhoods, and local property values, with constant (1 hr long jet engine noise) noise from leaf blowers that AirBNB requires by virtue of the fact that pictures have to represent reality, so you have horrible noise pollution by AirBNB owners who hire people to abuse the neighborhood with very loud leaf blowers that supercede EPA recommendations of 85 decibels for preventing hearing damage and sound like jet engines. I have seen Air BNBs have 1 hour leaf blower sessions 16 days out of the month. The is a company that is literally destroying the fabric of the community. Many communities are so sick of it that they are banning leaf blowers or implementing safe hearing decibel ranges of 60-70 decibels. It causes a lot of emotional distress, too when people can't hear themselves think. Very disturbing and abusive behavior caused by AirBNB.
