+1 tip for Newbies: for the kirac missions you could always pick a map u want and not complete it, so all the map options when rolling "Explore's Scouting Report" would be the one u have left, this way you can force dungeon maps for chains that bind, just an example. (im not sure if Thyworm said it on video)
I didn't, but on purpose, because it is a strategy that only works if you haven't completed the atlas and are aware of what you need while doing atlas completion. Which I'm not sure is that realistic of a requirement. Plus, I don't like using mechanics like that. I personally find it a bit of a sweaty strategy, but it does work if you haven't completed maps indeed.
Important note for linking Corrupted Items! If you find a rare Unique chest in SSF or happen to buy a more expensive Chest in Trade you probalby dont want to take the risk of destroying it . Simply farm some Einhar beast until you get the "apply 30% Quality to an item and Corrupt it" Beast, thats a fail proof way to get your Item Corrupted without destroying it.
Yes, you can do that too. I enjoy the gamble in SSF of the double corrupt. And now with the new black morrigan, there isn't much need to corrupt the items for linking, unless you value the 30% of course.

Arma brand/cremation, I used that farm all the pieces required for CoC DD, which took me around 10 hours or so after the campaign and after doing some maps, mostly spent in lvl 68 lab, plus some mapping for additional gear. And then made the swap to CoC DD and it's been smooth sailing ever since.
I don't typically focus too much on that six link at the start. You can do plenty on a five link as well. At some point I either have the materials in the video, or I farm div cards. Depends really on the progression but I'm not prioritising getting a 6-link, most of the time
This is my first league committing to going full in with SSF. And my main is a lvl 93 with BAMA Guardian sitting on a 4 link LOL I had a 5L. lost it 3 times trying to 6L it. Getting jewelers and fusings is so rough And even after dozens of hours, Ive only dropped like 2 6L's in total so far. Farmed like 2 chains that bind sets. None have been ESEV which i need for suppression Id probably just be better off just getting socket/link corpses and crafting a raw base that way lol
Maybe one piece of SSF advice. I never take my current gear and try to turn it into a 6-link, exactly because of what happened to you. I always start on a fresh base, and in your case, I would get a good Evasion/ES base maybe from Gwennen, or Rog, or just highlight it on the loot filter. Craft it up with perhaps essences and bench crafting. And then 6 socket and 6-link it with the black morrigan.
