I made this a little tougher than it needed to be as I made the list based on cocktails that HAD NOT been featured on the channel before... I'm keen to do this again but tweak the 'rules'. What do you guys think? Sorry for the blurry shots - the auto focus was freaking out!! - SURFSIDE SIPS GLASS STRAWS: bit.ly/surfsidesips (20% off Coupon code: STB20)
I think it would be great to add a list of links to other recipes you have made using these ingredients- I always love more ideas and it could give your older vids more traffic!
Steve the Bartender yes I think that would be a great idea. As much as these cocktails are probably delicious, they are not very common/well known. Plus I would love to see another video like this
Really appreciate your stuff. Yours and “how to drink” are the only channels I watch for cocktails. Keep that cheesy smile when you shake drinks haha it’s awesome! Just made your cold toddy (gold rush) tonight in fact.
Steve the Bartender I’m talking like smoked Gouda cheesy. Not like your processed American cheese cheesy. Haha good cheese. Probably a poor choice of words in the first place.
Great video, Steve! I was excited when you put out the ingredient survey and was not disappointed. Your daily videos are so refreshing on these monotonous quarantine days. Stay safe!
I watch all your videos and I find them amazing and inspirational. I happened to also notice this is the only one thus far that you didn't smile while shaking the Outrigger! Threw me off for a second. Lol
Pegu club is about my favorite cocktail. I even have replica Pegu Club glasses to serve it in. Was going to say 2 dashes angostura, but you hit the color spot on. And that's a splendid glass too. Incidentally for Pegu Club : curaçao > Gran Marinier > Cointreau > tripel sec. It's the peel you want.
Wonderful cocktail mixes with ur charming smiles more sweet than honey that u mix steve bro and an incredible mind soothing back ground music along with ur booze techniques, cheers buddy, hats off
Turned out excellent, and of course super easy to make. Delicious, and has a lovely pale/medium peach color from the Angostura bitters. Used Citadelle Gin, which comes from the same estate that does all the Pierre Ferrand line.
Love watching you make drinks Steve! Your videos are educational, entertaining, easy to watch and perfectly simple - Very balanced just like a great cocktail! Idea - How about a focus on an ingredient instead of the spirit. Example - ginger syrup. how many different cocktails can we make using that? This way, when we make a bottle of syrup, we have a variety of options that will allow us to use it up before it goes bad.
I came across a comment in one of your old videos from a viewer days ago and the viewer said she wanted someone who could shake as you do in her life. I didn't understand at first but after I saw 1:51, I was like "That was she talking about!" and I laughed so hard LOL
Big fan! You do good work, sir. With all due respect, might I suggest double straining (Hawthorne + fine mesh) your egg white cocktails? I've had many a sour with stray shell or that little membrane thing. I also find it does something cool to the texture of foam. Keep up the good work!
Love these videos Steve! I'm looking forward to your app coming to iOS. Keep up the good work. If I keep following along I won't even remember quarantine.
This was great and really helpful. I'm always looking for recipes with common ingredients, since I don't want to spent too much money on booze. And great accent and smile, too!
Sure Bob! You should check out a thrift shop for vintage stemware... but here's a few links to new glasses that I used in the vid: Nick & Nora: amzn.to/3gk5HFd Embassy Coupe: amzn.to/2zgBtmc Speakeasy Coupe: amzn.to/36pLUjn
Citrus drinks are my favorite so this video was perfect for me. I like the challenge aspect of this video too! Hopefully one day you’ll be able to do videos with your friends coming over to share in the drinks and shots. Get more opinions, and more drunk fun!
