I'm glad I came across this video because I use rice water in my locs too. This is my second set of locs and I was using rice water on my loose hair as well as my first set of locs and I use it on my current set and I don't see anyone really talking about rice water on locs. Thanks for the video.

I use it as a hair rinse too but only when i let it sit for two days. i leave it. add potato juice and onion juice too. very good for you. much love.

I love the crystals in your hair! Are they both clear quartz? I noticed an orangey/ brown tint at the end of one. I plan to wear crystal loc jewelry once my locks get a bit older, too! P.S: you and your sister are adorable :)

i just fermented my rice water with lime peels for the past week and it doesn’t smell horrible. also i once had rice water that i let ferment for like 8 months. it smelled horrible but the smell faded when it dried on my scalp. weird but true. i just got my starter locs yesterday with the two strand twist and i intend to spray my rice water on them for the first few weeks before my first wash. i need all the tips and info ... thanks y’all 💋

I love fermented rice water. I have jars just for that and i make soap with it. Does WONDERS!!! I didn't know it could be fermented for that long though. I the most i did was a month.

I fermented my rice water for a few weeks and it smelled so rank. I put an orange peel but it didn’t even matter. I washed my hair three times.

I just made some I boiled water with ginger, lemon and orange peels and while it was hot/warm I added the water to the rice and added some essential oils on the jar
