War of the Worlds was on WPIX on the weekends in New York and it was just as gory and violent as the commercial itself.

War of the Worlds was a pretty decent show. I think at least the first season is on DVD. It takes the events of the 50s movie as canon and kind of spins off from there. The second season essentially blew up the premise of the first series; I recall the first couple of episodes being pretty wild.

It is basically the defacto Grocery chain in Las Vegas, and is still very much around. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smith%27s_Food_and_Drug They still have locations in Arizona.

War of The Worlds was cheesy, but don't let that fool you. it had some of the most darkest and *GRAPHIC* episodes i ever saw for a syndicated 80's tv show lol

Looked up Maria Romano of that USA Motors commercial. Looks like she was part of a mob family in Vegas. Interesting.

Ashanti-not a biopic of the actress/singer Benadryl Plus-gotta feel bad for the next person who has to use that phone AT & T-the guy sounds like the voiceover who did the "Only from the mind..of MINOLTA!" jingle WOTW-loved that episode,had a "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" feel to it..the ending was a bit of a downer though Campbell's Soup-mustve caught her bf cheating Smith's-loved the Chinese food stand at my store USA Motors-Linda looks like a character you would see in a primetime soap Warehouse Buffet-He probably had no time to gamble due to the indigestion Star Trek TNG-it took the end of the episode for Data to laugh uncontrollably Night Spice-sounds like a designer drug from a dystopian scifi film The Gong Show-those were most definitely fake
