Anyone familiar w the 454 knows its between 2-5 mpg. Maybe 6-8 on straight flat roads under 55 mph. Id put a cummins in it and use it for DD. It would be hard to let a 454 go though, and the beautiful sounds it makes. I bet it eats brakes and tires as fast as gasoline. Totally worth the cost, and way cheaper than many other toys. A cheap boat costs more to operate and maintain. Its a work of art
You’re exactly right the bad thing is all of our hobbies suck Fuel. We have one boat with four motors, one with three and three with two. And several of those are big cubic inch big blocks hammer down they’re less than a mile per gallon times however many motors, the fuel company loves us.😂😂

The best advice that I can give anyone who says they're getting lousy mileage... TAKE SOME OF THE LEAD OUTTA YOUR RIGHT SHOE. I have nothing but pre-1980 BIG vehicles and not one of those gets less than ten MPG... And that's including our 1977 33' Dodge Class A motorhome... 440/727/ Rockwell 5:36 rear end.

When I was a kid, one of our neighbors back in Saudi Arabia was married to four wives and he had two dozen kids. This exact same model was their family car. It was hilarious watching them pack their stuff and try not to forget anyone.
Nah most people who tow know their mpg and how long their tank of fuel will last until the next fill up unless they are those stupid trend chasing content creator fuckwits who don't really tow much 😂

That would be cool as a limo ride for teenagers to their prom. Afterward they could go for a ride in the hills for a personalized dutch oven candlelight dinner under the stars. Just my imagination, for what it's worth. 🤠👍
These trucks are actually called "airport limo's". Transported airline crews to and from hotels as well as passengers from various locations. Also never had 4wd. I used to drive them out of Bradley International Airport in the late 70's. 😊

Let's put it this way .. .a 2016 Ford E-350 dually micro bus, weighs about 7500 pounds and 20 feet long. Modern V10 and 6-speed auto. It gets 7-10 MPG average.
His tires are: intergo boggers tires are listed by Summit racing,1600 each mud boggers. But they are 16 ply and bias ply! I havseen bias ply tires in years! Great for mountains! Thanks for the reply. One listed by them is 3500 each!😮

I personally think that’s a really stupid question because if you’re driving that kind of vehicle or any pick up truck, you don’t care about gas mileage you don’t complain about it. You just drive it and fill it up when it’s. 👍👍

Don't get me wrong if it wasn't modified with a vin matching engine it would be a shame to swap with how clean it is, BUT seeing it has 2 extra doors that opens up all possibilities lol If not Cummins swap, supercharger? Love the content by the way, there isn't to many shops that can modify square body's cleanly and still make it look good
We appreciate the support it’s perfectly fine with the great sounding big block but so many swaps could also be a cool idea for now. We’re just gonna enjoy it the way it is, though the mileage doesn’t bother us one bit at least it doesn’t burn race fuel like half our other fleet.lol
Wow, that is literally an Alaska airport limousine! Checker, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Chrysler, etc used to make 8-door limos for taking people and their luggage to the airports. Occasionally you will see one on the original Hawaii Five-O. 👍
Which carb. Quadrajet. Holley. Edelbrock. Qjet. Need to adjust the APT Height. Holley use wide band air fuel gauge to see if air is 14.7 to1 at 1,700 rpm change idle feed restrictions to get to 14.7 to 1. Then look at 3,800 to 4000 rpm. Change primary main jets to get to 14.7. Ask how to do it with edelbrock.
If I had that beautiful Beast, I would make it a party mud truck. You could probably make some good money. suburban ever built, love the Square body. Somebody should do the same thing to a k5
