Hell yeah 800hp is perfect to complete against all these new cars coming with 500hp plus now an days. Just changed the diff in my xf last night thanks for the vids on how to remove cv axles lol.
@@onefastboi14 I don't know how hard it is to swap the blower in ur car but if u can get the 1.9l blower to work with ur car u can make big power. The 4.2 motor is a really good motor better then the 5.0 in my opinion the only thing holding it back is the supercharger is just not efficient enough the faster u spin worst it gets in efficiency. The 1.9 just make more power the faster u spin it only thing u need to have is is good floweing exhaust setup.
@@Ricky50scJustalil6cylinderя немного понимаю о чем вы говорите но перевожу плохо , не могли бы вы написать какой у вас вышел спек лист запчастей для достижения поставленной цели 800. Hp
Nice work. Dope car. Thanks for sharing your work. I'm on my second XF. Love this car. All the style, comfortable and more than enough power for a long highway cruise.
sick ass aj133 i just pulled my motor out of my JAGUAR XJ-L SUPERSPORT GETTING MY BLOCK SLEEVED .i get it back later today .so i can start putting it back together ⚙🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
I got a question so where can I get that type of exhaust but for 2 pipes?, and where can I get the driver and passenger seat at cuz yours looks cool my guy
Awesome work!! One of the few Jags I could find with documented work. I have the v6 supercharged awd version and have been wanting to tinker on it. What did you do to get your aftermarket seats in?
I made custom brakets for the seats and wrapped them I. Alcantara leather looks really good and thanks man I dint make make a video installing the seats because I wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to make these brakets so I dint want to upload a halfass video to RU-vid haha
Did you do your main pulley? I seen videos of just both pulleys and exhaust with tune and make 650-700. The Arden tune also. And what oil you running cause mines just spun a bearing
No crank pulley yet at the end of this year I will get one. And yeah those cars make 650-700 crank I'm making that same power to the wheels which in crank hp it around 800hp.i use cheap oil stp from autozone😂 I do add the stp oil treatment I feel like it helps alot
What did you do for extra fueling? Was told that you couldn't go too small on the upper pulley when combined with the lower pulley due to fueling restraints. I have meth injection on my other vehicle and I know it adds extra fueling when WOT.
What are the major failure/reliablility issues you have to deal with on this platform for the supercharged motor? Do you know what year to get? Looking to get into this platform.
I'm not an expert, but the 5.0 (2012 or 2013 through to 2015 in the XFR) and also used on the Range Rover Sport 5.0... is nearly bullet proof. ((Prior to 2012, I think they used a similarly strong 4.2) I am replacing a known failure point, "crossover pipes" or a series of coolant pipes the dealer will know should be replaced by 10 years. Up around the 600+ HP you should address radiatr and cooling system.
If be keen to see a ticket and dyno sheet to prove the power... Im sure these are at their upper safe limit about 700ish? If you've managed to do it then fair play but there's people with more mods and less power from reputable tuners?
Nobody knows the limits of this engine what makes you think 700 is the limit? There has been 0 engines blown up because of too much power. Is all in the tuning I got a fully unlocked ecu that's why I'm able to make more power than other jaguars that have dual pulleys and alot more modifications done. These superchargers have been pushed to over 900hp in the chevys and cadillacs. I will get a byno pretty soon is just hard dyno these cars specially my car because I'm running a different size tire then oem
@@Ricky50scJustalil6cylinder I'm sure I read on a jag page about this company that went to do some racing with the F-type and as they got up to around 700bhp the block was starting to flex and the pistons started having issues. Saying that, we don't have E85 on tap here in the UK so maybe that would help to a degree.. Not sure it'd help over 100 extra more bhp at the wheels though? I'm just thinking that there's a reason the big tuners have only gone to 700 with the engine surely? Also for the dyno, just lob her on a hub dyno, doesn't matter the wheel and tyre setup you have then. I'd be keen to see if it makes the claimed power because if it does, it's hit a new benchmark and props for that 👍
Hey I just separated the supercharger cooling from the main radiator, do you know how I can bleed the supercharger circuit I think I have a bubble trapped in it
@Ricky50scJustalil6cylinder I'm only running a tune on 91 and had the car tuned on a dyno. Would think the dyno would give more accurate numbers than a remote tune. You have the supercharger pulley upgrade but no crank shaft pulley upgrade?? I wouldn't upgrade the crank shaft ...... I bought it with both upgraded and it ended up siezing 2 bears. Supercharger created to much boost & over time it gave. How many miles do you have on the tune?? And I'm guessing yours was remote & hp was an estimation?
@@henrymint I haven't seen any tuner unlock the full potential out of these cars there's torque limiters that haven't been found only way to get the full power is to run a piggyback ecu which is what I have that will bypass most of the torque limiters an allow you to make power. That's why I only have an upper pulley and have the quickest jaguar even quicker then the dual pulley lighter weight f types. I recently tried running a gm 8" pulley it worked it I ended up just taking it off because it wasn't properly centered now am having one custom made it ran 10.19 at 137mph based on a 1/4 calculator the car is making around 850hp. Honestly if you do everything right do all the maintenance you can get really good reliability out of these motors never had issues I have over 500+ runs in my draggy and never had issues
@@henrymintman you are missing out on power 590 crank hp that about 500whp my car stock these cars dyno at about 450-480whp a well tuned 5.0 is capable of 650+hp with stock pulleys
Love the XF bro I got a 2010 XF supercharged about 2 months ago all stock dealer maintained car. What top 3 mods do you think gave you the most performance? exhaust pulley tune?
@@Ricky50scJustalil6cylinderI have a upper pulley and intake (not on my car yet) for my 2011 Jag XF..... Any recommendations on where to get it tuned after I install it, I'm in the LA area
@@Jamaicaboi2X there's a v8 5.0 with no supercharger and a 5.0 with a supercharger confusing but to make it easier if you have the quad exhaust pipes then it has a supercharger
That other guy started going on all My videos commenting dumb comments so I muted all his comments so my reply got deleted just got enjoying. Anyway my reply to you was I recently got the supercharger ported and a 105mm tb and an 8" crank pulley and went 10.19@137 I made a post about it on the Facebook forums I was just having issues with the pulley because it wasn't properly centered and can damage my crank bearings but I'm having a 9" pulley made I will need to remove the vaccum pump for this to work.
@@Ricky50scJustalil6cylinder damnnnn a 10.19 is absolutely crazy. That’s almost in the 9s happy for you man. Absolutely fast your car is definitely like 700-770 whp
Fuckin' hell: can you use the seat belt??? Especially because you are driving a car with 800hp and you uploaded the video to the WORLD WIDE web! So everyone knows that you will hit the windscreen! (or remove it) We're waiting for the video!
