Fantastic website. Very, very impressed. I've also heard that a lot of the gear in their catalogue had been discontinued, and they actually got back in touch with the manufacturers to recreate them as accurately as possible. Well done.
Thanks for the feedback on the site. We've got more new Adidas arriving over the next couple of months including the Adidas Grand Prix, Adistar Racer and the Adidas Munchen Super 12.
great shop, great gear! got lots of Sergio, just received 2 fila bjorn borg polo shirts and 1 fila setanta track top. also got adidas samba (white), adidas rom and adidas trimm trab. this is the greatest look ever!
Thanks for your comments, we believe we are the best and only place you can find all this classic clothing together. Everything you've mentioned combines to create the greatest look ever. Enjoy and Keep It Casual!!
Ahhhh my weakness, 80s Casual Classics....So much money spent, so much time planning what piece I am gonna buy or how I am gonna get the money to get something before it disappears...lol Your site is my addiction.
ordered loads from here reasonable prices and people always comment on whichever trackie top im wearing u don't see many around on your average day which makes them retro in my eyes, five stars casual classics ,
In the 80's California probably spent hundreds of millions in these three brands. I myself wore Fila Sergio Ellesse Diadora all day everyday. How would you feel about opening a store in L.A. or at least marketing the brands here, I think it do very well. I've been doing a little research to get a feel on if people would still buy these brand and it was very positive. when I graduate business school I would love to partner with you guys.
We've only got the website now, no more shop it was sold on. We have a small show room within our warehouse facility where you can visit to try on a few bits.
Bought loads of the old school casual gear over the last year, Lyle and Scott, Pringle, Lacoste, Sergio, Fila and Ellesse :-) Have been looking at the website, will be buying more soon. Keep up the good work guys :-)
I'm 17 and despite growing up in a world of pop music and chinos with all the sheep, I love the casual culture. However I have to say I'm more of a modern casual with the CP jackets, Penfield, Fjall, SI etc but still like the 80's gear obviously. Just ordered a blue/white sergio with the biker collar style with some dark navy lois cords which are going to look nice with a pair of Super Keglers or Trimm Trabs. :)
As someone who was not there when it originally started I was always curious- if the casual movement never happened, do you think it's possible labels like ellesse and tacchini would never have made it into England?
+FriendlyWalrus Who's to say its a hard question to answer. I'm sure the casual movement helped it but I'm almost certain some fashion types may very well have jumped at the chance to look different and wear some stuff from the continent.
Funny I watched Noel talk about adidas and tings but hes to young to be a casual , im 56, once I went to riserly as a 15 year old, I was wearing lee jeans lios kickers pods lacoste , but had a shaved head , the scousers wedgesand were casuas I grew old straight away , I then got all the kit ,
I still see Fjällräven as a hipster/hiking brand... But it's becoming quite popular here in Denmark as well... I'm more into Stone Island, Henri Lloyd, Fred Perry and all that.
Not at the moment lee sullivan . The best way is to show your interest via our website so we can gauge the demand.. www.80scasualclassics.co.uk/as-seen-in-the-firm/sergio-tacchini-orion-track-bottoms-in-yellow-2094087-375555-692812.php
Funny how Fjällräven has become casual nowadays, here in Sweden it originated as a "I like to go to the forest and pick mushrooms and flowers" type of brand. A lot of sort of poorer ppl sported a lot of their backpacks and shit. Now it has become even here a high class brand :D
I love the casual scene. Merely for the clothes! Not interested in the scrapping. Just a shame society these days everything's so bloody expensive and jobs are scarce! :@ am a fully qualified tradesman... But no job. Retail it is ae :(
+80s Casual Classics Ltd Hi Neil , do you ship to Canada? I'm a Geordie living over here looking to keep up the collection if possible.. Thanks for your help pal.
All the casual fashions r cummin back fila ellesse Sergio mussinwear (penguin) cerutti 1881 diadora Borg cp company stone island etc I've got a nice collection most original as well
All the new Tacchini and Fila I e made in China & Korea is appalling, the Kudos is gone, it's not Italian anymore, owned or made. Stitching wank, the lovely metal enamelled zip tag now a hard rubber bullet type thing. I only bought one it was wnk. I even bought a vintage still in the pack pair of Cerrutti shirts way to small for me and we're unfortunately fifth my boy - had to have them though :) I had some dort of reissued Tacchini tracking tops like 2002 still Italian made- quality. One got ponced off me by some barmaid I never got the blue Dallas one and a white and lighter blue striped Tacchini gutted zip bost. I do have a brown with red n white trim Tacchini made in Moldova- but they were still Italian owned and licence I guess.
same mate i'm 17 as well and I hate seeing boys walking around in chinos which I always viewed as women's clothing. So fucking cringeworthy every one walking around in the exact same attire.... Ralph Lauren polo, chinos, vans.
love my casual clothes even as a 40 year ol+. the sportwear of the 80's were tat then though. Si and burberry[chav wear now],fjallraven,cp, norse clothing, universal works etc etc....are mile above sportwear that is made and worn by chavs. sportswear[trainers apat, adidas re-reisues only from 70-80's] r chap wear. AVOID feckin kappa, sergio tacchini and ellesse etc...trully disgusting and marks u out as a clueless sheep. dickie strides, fjall shirt, oak st shoes etc is what u need this summer!
