@@robertgladstein Max Frye , he's from North Carolina but lives now in Nashville , very awesome and talented musician. His original band is called Lost Hearts. He can cover anything by Eddie Van Halen and also Randy Rhodes. He was with Little Ozzy when he was 14 or 15 years old.
I have to say. I been to 5 Van Halen concerts from 1979 to their very last with Roth of 1984 tour in Las Vegas NV where I seen them. I was expecting an ok performance, like many other VH cover bands. Only two I have actually liked and stayed all the way through to watch from beginning to end. Yours was one of them. You were there to have a good time and pay respects to the original VH and that blows me away! From your stage setup to the sound and playing took me back to the early Van Halen the best you could. Thank you. You guys rock!
Ahahahaha, Thinking the Xact Thang, at first I thought Ok, the bass tech?.?.walking by the Drums in the Shadow looked just like Roth, then I'm, Ohhhhh a Tribute Band. Then yah, Well he could Definitely be in a Motley Crue Tribute Band as well as Vince
The video and performance are very good. I was thrilled to watch older people enjoying the sound that was from their youth. I've been listening to Van Halen every day for 35 years and I would love to be there that day. hug and congratulations from Brazil
the hammer guy is from a pest control company (western exterminator) here in L.A. there's still a sign up either on a billboard or on the side of a building, I forget which but every time i'm driving downtown from the valley on the 101 I get a kick out of seeing it.
This guy is also an Outstanding Wizard on The Guitar!! 🎸 He's So Damn Good, it just Blows My Mind!! Probably The Best Eddie Van Halen Tribute Guitarist,🎸 I've ever seen!! He makes The Band, and he seems So Naturally Talented, that it seems to come with ease to him,and The Singer ain't bad either, but does not have near The Showmanship, or Piecing Scream of The One and only David Lee Roth, but that's okay though, he fills in good enough for Me. It's a Good Tribute Band, with an Absolutely Awesome Guitar Player!! This tribute band is right under The Automatic Punks, VH Tribute Band,in My Book. Great Job Guys!!👏👏👏God Bless!! VH Forever!!! Woo-Hoo!!!🥳🥳🥳RIP Eddie,😊 Thanks for The Outstanding,& Memorable Memories!!!😎😎😎
Looking at the people dancing just reminds me of how "classic rock" bands like Van Halen have become. Before I turned up the volume, it looked like the audience in an "all-stars of doo-wop" commercial that was on TV.
That was awesome thank you for sharing and I definitely enjoyed seeing the people having a great time in the crowd young and old.! I wish I was there for that show
Guitar player is a big talented guy. Awesome. Greetz a lifetime and beyond VH fan from Holland. Yes, The Netherlands, land of the klumps, windmills and gouda cheese. 😎 🤘🤘
I'm just amazed how "Dave" has the inflections in his voice like Diamond Dave. I really think it adds to the experience of this Van Halen Tribute band. The musicianship is spot on and boys really did a great job of it, and I think Eddie would give his approval. The guitar player looks like Nuno Bettencourt, but plays like Eddie.
Who’s that guitarist? I would absolutely buy one of his solo, instrumental, albums if he had any. The rest of the group did an awesome job as well, brought me right back to 1984! Thank you very much for posting the video. 👍🏼🤗
I agree totally with you. Rap is just really poor poetry done with ever worst music if you can call it that. There are few real musicians today. And auto tune now that could make even me sound like singer that I am not.
So close. So damn close. The tribute band is top notch. No way that I would be fooled it was actually Van Halen. But the singer's voice sound so much like David Lee Roth's I am floored at how good he is. 👍
Wow that’s pretty wild at times he actually sounds like Dave when he’s talking, when he sings he’s more consistent than Roth for sure, great job with Eddie’s parts I think he’d be happy
The guitarist has talent, Eddie always played like it was Christmas and he just got the guitar. As far as Dave cut back on all psychotropic medications…
Like a recent commenter, I also saw van Halen 5 times with Roth, beginning in 1978 when they opened for the Stones and Doobie Bros at the Superdome This performance really caught my attention, especially the guitarist.
damn guys I only got to see VH with Sammy... back in the 5150 tour.. i got hooked on 1984, and then went backwards in the catalog.. then forward.. but to me Eddie was at a sorta peak in sound on 1984... but that's just my opinion.. He was great up til the end. RIP Ed, We will sorely miss you. This really brings back my teen years thanks 84 VanHalen!!! you guys really kicked it!
with all the 70s 80s artists either dying off or retiring we are not far away from tribute bands playing arenas .i could def see that happening in next 15-20 years
They are really great! This band captures the spirit of Van Halen to the T! Especially the guitarist! His smile his mannerisms and of course his playing is spot on! I think Eddie would be really impressed! : )
