This was great! Sounded like the DLR band's version of "Unchained". I saw both the "Eat 'Em and Smile" and "Skyscraper" tours and they played "Unchained" at exactly this tempo! Great stuff guys!
They played so many of the VH songs at breakneck speeds on those tours! I can only imagine how that trend would probably have continued even more if Jason Becker hadn't suffered from ALS before he could do the tour.
Not to mention, he's packing a lot of heat too......when he jumped up on the monitors in front of the camera, I feel like I had a giant sausage stuffed in my face just watching RU-vid LOL
Overall these guys sounded great and performed this great. Front man was outstanding. The guitarist didn’t land the solo back into the chorus. He also didn’t land play the bridge segment hardly at all and him coming out of the bridge and back into the chorus was kind of clunky. Perhaps couldn’t hear his monitor that well is my guess. This kind of a hybrid between the live and studio version, which I appreciated.
@@emeryseymour3376you don't get it he meant this guy is copying DLR at his best ability..... right we know it's a Cover band keeping the music alive the Title told us
It seems like the guitarist is adding a downstroke or two maybe to the riff that’s changing the feel a bit. Every clip of this from them he plays it the same. It drives me nuts now that I’ve noticed it.
drummer needs to be hitting quarter notes on the hihat (not half notes) during the verses...so its the same as the bass and guitar....makes the rhythm more propulsive...
I've heard this band play a few VH songs. They play all of them too fast. And I know that the drummer is young, but he doesn't sound like Alex at all. And the singer sounds vaguely like David Lee Roth, at best.
Yeah they aren't good. And I know them. Shit my guitar was on their bus for a year. They aren't very good musicians and kinda a bunch of douche bags. Hence why my guitar was on their bus for a year...
