😊😊 that was beautiful thank you. I can see that in your 9th decade you become reflective and poetic. An Australian artist, Margaret Olley, once said she had greedy eyes. I loved that. I'm finding as I realise my time is limited on this earth, my eyes are getting greedy! I'm lying on the lounge after a rainstorm here in Canberra Australia. I can see a beautiful rainbow and the sun is now shining through my crystals dangling on the windsill. There are rainbows on my ceiling. I can hear the birds outside and when I look out my window, there are 6 rainbow lorikeets eating seed I put out as spring is a time of starvation. Rainbows everywhere!😊😊 Belinda

A very thought provoking video this week Sandra. I'm the upper side of 70 so looking back at more years than are before me and wondering just how I got here so this has left me with a bit of homework! I've been a carer since I was 12 and in many ways have lived a reactive life in response to the many hurdles it puts before all of us. I'm not where I hoped to be or in a very easy place but do feel that my main achievement has been to just survive till now with enough optimism to actually look forwards.

In my last marriage I faced a horrid realization…No one knows the crushing pain within when one learns their married to someone behind a mask. It’s obvious you understand. Within I died and went thru the motions for my children. Then one day I felt a spark within. I know to have been Christ Jesus in The Holy Spirit ~despite the darkness stayed. I Am remarried now with many grandchildren. With my now husband so grateful to realize the stars shine brighter because of the darkness. …as I journey on eternally I am never alone & what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.🙏🩸✝️🩸🙏 😘💞💕🌟

Hi Sandra. I hope you are well. Recently I've been introspective, and looking back over my shoulders at the path I have walked. And I heard Eddie say, the other day that, "it is only in hindsight that we see where all the "Dots" line up." Where the path I walked makes sense now. All the respective dots were necessary to get me to the "Here and Now." We cannot see the dots as we are walking, because we exist in "real time." And I've found that very helpful. All my dominos fell in the direction they were supposed to, to get me to Here! Because if any of them had fallen in the other direction, at any point, on the journey, I would not have ended up "Here." Thank you for this morning meditation.

Sandra, I loved your poem. I used poetry in workshops and speeches during my educational career. There was always a poem for every occasion. Your video was so touching. It brought back many memories living in Lexington, KY when I first started teaching school in the beautiful Bluegrass State. 11:39 Of course, I see rock fences/walls right here in Franklin, TN.
