The comics apparently state that Scratch is “the smartest badnik there is! But don’t worry, Sonic- all the badniks are morons.” Personally, Sqweel is my least favorite one to fight because he’s a huge difficulty spike for the slower bosses and has an annoying victory dance/taunt.
I feel like there's a bit of a story going on with Badniks 9 through 12: Sir F-Fuzzy Logik is Robotnik's champion, and after you decimate the last of Robotnik's actual army you come up to the steps of the castle, to see it guarded by the throne guard himself Dragon Breath is perhaps a bit more experimental, less proven but no less mighty for it. Sent out as a last resort by Robotnik after the defeat of F-Fuzzy, he's got all the brawn of any other Badnik but a much cooler head on his shoulders Scratch has been biding time, hiding in the back ranks. Literally chicken, the dirty coward of the lot. But with no one else to hide behind he proves that it wasn't for being the weakest, and pulls out all the dirty tricks the game engine will actually let him use
I like how at first it’s just “what the hell is he doing” and then it’s just “YIPPEE” for the rest of the level and you realize you’ve underestimated this guy’s skill.

Watching everybody see the Garbage Beans drop onto their board and, knowing they’ll almost immediately meet their demise, especially after they thought Tamer didn’t know what he was doing, go from elation to despair gives me a satisfied sort of feeling.
I like how Spike's facial expression(s) went from, "Looks like I've got this in the bag," (12:18) to, "Whoa, hey now! Slow down, kid!" (12:28) to, "Oh, man. I lost." (12:31)
Evaluating the AI, and before Tamer lands a 50 chain combo, Dynomight is probably the best AI for going against. He is the only one that establishes combos immediatly

I used to remember the later stages of this game kicking my ass when I was a kid, and eventually breaking through and beating this game after so many attempts many years ago, but yet you made this look easy. Kudos :)
I love how every Koh's video related to Mean Bean Machine (this one or Sonic Mania's as far as I've seen) is filled with comments from people that have no idea what Puyo players are capable of That said, I'm still a noobie that can barely do 4 chains, even with stairs or GTR

Yeah, it's weird. 5-chains will 100% absolutely kill in this game, and anything more is just fucking around at that point. Even 4-chains are still really dangerous.
