I think it was the fuel pump, along with other minor issues that made the bike not work. Got it to start. I was interested in getting the mr. gasket fuel pump, but advanced auto parts did not have it, so i got the closest fuel pump they had the holly fuel pump. 50$ and a solid state pump, so hopefully this will last. The bike started, now on to the next issue.

I did everything exactly how you did except I keep blowing the fuze. I unhooked the black & blue wire and the fuze didn’t blow and the bike ran but the pump never came on. I hooked it back up and the same fuze blew. Does this mean I need a new relay?

Hi, where exactly is the Vacuum line you where talkin about?? And my Shadow is is a 1994 vt1100c the only Holly electric fuel pump i can find on there site is 35 gallons per hr. Will this work as well?? Thank you in advance ✌️

excellent, I have a vt1100 and I am going to mount that same gasoline pump, how long did the pump last?

i put up another video showing what i did. Got a new relay and plugged it in, then it didnt work so i went back to the bypass

Goodday Motard Squid.I'm having starting issues with my '86 honda shadow vt1100.Fuel pump doesnt prime when i turn the key on.Have power going through the harness but no power going to the fuel pump.When i put power direct from the battery to the pump,you can hear the fuel pump working.Didnt know if You have the vt1100?

I have the vt750. It sounds like the relay. I have a spare one if you are in the d.c. are you can have. But if you want you just put a direct connection like i did and use a on / off switch to power the pump.

@@motardsquid Could You send the relay to me to Ontario,Canada?I can etransfer the funds to You for the shipping costs.There is only one relay next to the battery with a 3 prong plugin that i believe is the relay for the fuel pump that someone before switch out for a signal relay.
