We talk with truck builder J.R. Skivers about his 85' Squarebody Dually build 'Pork Chop'! J.R. tells us how the build went from a single wheel C20 to a Chopped Top Dually!
Beautiful truck i know you say its not a show truck but i could see it on the sema show room floor especially when you male the removable hard top just amazing looks like a million dollars to me
This Chevrolet C10 idea is very good, here in Brazil I have a Chevrolet C10 but here they have a more rounded design, here the Chevrolet's Silverado are the same as in the USA...
I had a 64 falcon ranchero chopped it,roof off it looked good it had it's ups and downs wanted to do that old bronco style with the roo bars canvas style roof, but never finished it,
dude this should be more show truck than work truck and you should also put your name out there cause you know your bees wax when it comes to custom builds
It's definitely a very beautiful truck the thing I like the most what you did to the rear bed making those storage compartments nobody has done that that I know of this riding around with a drop dually so you know you won't be having to pull up on the side of the road and Chaser the lawn chair Royal beach towels on your beach umbrella you have any chance none of that stuff around I'm flying out the back but I really must say Bojangles of well put together truck I enjoyed the fact that you took the 454 David The Voice red burgundy and maroon is I can't say it really was my favorite color but I really got to say something about red maroon or burgundy a certain pop to it when you put it in a real nice vehicle it just pops it makes that vehicle stand out like high heels I want to find woman so I'm going to say it this way I'm looking for a doozy button if I could have one like that I'd be happy I'm not a red top person but that idea what the drop top on it was smoking idea cuz it reminds me of the Corvette having a hardtop so I think you are really on to a really smoking idea anything once you finish up the hardtop nothing's going to be I would not be surprised if somebody's going to copy your ideas because they're just not just an idea off the cuff it's the kind of deal that somebody sent and plan for that kind of pocket so I think you did a fabulous job and making news so take a Bowser because you really built a very nice truck weather using it for work or whether you use it to look good or to hang out or whatever you have built a multi-purpose dually make me want to do something with my 03 XL sport
@C10ESSEE Will he do others? I wonder what he would charge? Any contact info? I would love this conversion...I have a 83 C10 that im converting to a dually later this year with a 496 stroker ..was gonna do a sunroof, but this is wicked!!
Man I love this truck! I saw it a couple of months ago at a Truck/Off Road shop on a side street “Volunteer Dr.” by my friends shop “Sandman Designs” My 91’ Silverado Stepside is up there right now getting suited up with wheels. I’d love to link up with you guys one day. Are you on Instagram or have a contact where I can reach you?
