the frame is finished up on the OBS GMC Sierra project, walk through to see the process and completed frame with 20'' wheels and loaded to go get the ls swap finished up.
Depends on how low you plan on going, eBay sells c notch kits for these just look up your year truck and c notch bolt in and you shouldn’t have any problem finding one
@@sandysandor1699 on a 4/5 drop you can remove the bump stop that’s mounted above the rear end on the frame and will be fine long as you don’t have weight in the bed, it could still hit if you go over large bumps, cutting into the frame weakens it and makes bumper loading for trailer weight very dangerous due to the weak point in the center, only way to make it safe if you want to use it as a truck still is bolt in the c notch and weld it solid so it can’t flex. I would personally recommend just buying a piece of 5” pipe and cut it in half and weld those in the frame to give you that extra bit of travel then you just need to cut a half moon out of the frame and can weld in that half piece of pipe to give you more travel
For me just the frame part getting it down and painted was about 40.00 in sand and sealer, paint, and clear added 300 then if you add bell tech system it was 1500
