These days I’m planning on improving my English by listening to many podcasts in English and whenever I’m listening to one of these podcasts, I easily get bored and just want to finish this podcast, but if this podcast is Luke’s podcast I just don’t feel the time. It’s really fun listening to you I don’t even consider this as a process of improving my English. It’s like watching a movie and having fun. Thank you bro.

I truly believe that I will buy the book, and it is exactly what I need right now. Congratulations on your career and best wishes for your future. I must preface this by saying that I am absolutely not a person who divides; I love and adore inclusion, brotherhood, and peace. I am nobody compared to you, both professionally and probably I don’t even have half of your intellectual abilities. I have had "friends" from all nations and cultures during my 8 years of English experience. I have 3.8 months of experience as a warehouse worker in a famous brand. Initially, there were about 1,000 of us workers, then we stabilized at just over 500 in our warehouse. I must say that there are terribly lazy and unreliable people of all ethnicities, ages, and genders. I know what I am saying sounds horrible, but it is my honest experience. I have noticed that in percentage terms, there are a few more, slightly more. Again, I am absolutely not against anyone, and what I have noticed, just as there are people of all ethnicities and cultures who work for 10 people (I have also noticed that they are a minority in percentage terms in the corporate structure, unfortunately).

Natasha’s experiences in nasty interview spaces and a ruthless jobmarket were impressive, nearly intimidating and have visibly steeled her. I had to listen to the conversation several times to grab and understand everything exactly and found some interesting vocabulary. I am glad that the challenges in my working environment were completely different. No schmoozing and swaggering (nice words), no high profile job, no career ladder, no negotiable wages, but security and a fulfilling and meaningful employment. I only had to survive difficult classes, challenging kids, parents and bosses and sometimes colleagues. Luckily a completely different bubble! And a member of the boomer generation 😅. Very interesting episode anyway!

Before I had much work experience, I always tried to please my prospective employer. But after a certain amount of time, I decided not to do this anymore, because I began to value myself as a professional in my field and was looking for an employer and job environment that I liked. This choise allowed me to stay for a long time in the same place, without irritation.

Wow. Helli Luke. It's one of the top ten of your interviews. She's a great speaker. She trained herself to notice what is unclear for most of us. I am sure that l will watch this episode again. There's too much details for me to understand from this. ❤❤ Much love from Iran

Today I had interviewed and I listened to the episode yesterday. Thank you Luke, you always come at the right time. However in my opinion and experience, even if you did thousands of interviews, you will still feel stressed and anxious, they don’t go away what ever you do 😤 but I guarantee that you will be smart with your answers and professional as fuck.

I like so much british english, Unfortunately I gave up because I want to learn Korean and Japanese, so I'm only learning American English, because it's simpler, because everything I watch has an American accent, I'm learning English in high school, but it's not enough because we learn basic things and most of them are at a level where they don't understand a conversation in English, or they almost don't understand anything.

When did Natasha work for a long distance? What was her highest position in the company? What she did for the company to have an opportunity to be promoted? A lot of questions to this woman. She wrote the book and doesn’t actually have any practical skills to career development and soft skills. The HR will always have a cautious attitude towards this kind of applicants. Why she couldn’t to be in touch with the HR inside a company to speak about a way for her promotion? Additionally, she spent over 2 years without any job. Her opinion and advises are doubted.

In low grade jobs, negotiate 10000$ over what they offered you, whattt😲, over the salary for the full year, right?? Where I'm from, we hardly make 10000$ a year..., what to negotiate😅
