Him, Hightower, and Van Noy locked down the Rams offense and sealed the SB for us. All criminally underrated. I love Brady, Edelman, and our dudes on offense but the D is just as important in our teams success.

As a Ravens fan, Devin McCourty is one of the most underrated safeties in the NFL and I think the reason is because the casual football fan thinks a safety is a Elite if they have a whole bunch of interceptions and don't look at the other stuff that they do

One of the most underrated players in the league, should have been on this list for years now. Every year he's not, it's a downgrade for this list. So smart, so athletic, always in the right spot, always organizing and a great leader on and off the field. One of the best Patriots ever.

What makes the Patriots great is the leadership on the field. McCourty, Slater, Edelman, Brady, Hightower, Van Noy. These guys are know more than their coaches and are highly motivated.
