Im here with my 89 years old Auntie. ( this is her driveway) she is amazed to see her bricks looking so clean, after the hard work of Sid and his team. After two and half days work, the driveway looked like it did 30 years ago. As she was worried about how she was going to scrub them all by herself. But would recommend Sid to anyone who needs his services.
I remember first videos I've seen from you. The way you grew, your company grew, it's amazing! You're doing an awesome job, don't tear yourself down. Things don't always go our way but I hope everything's going to work out for you. ❤
I knew straight away that wouldn't be enough sand , i once did a car dealership and ordered a pallet of 40 bags it ended up taking 85😂😂 luckily the customer was sound about it and paid up Travis perkins are usually the cheapest for sand Sid, i picked up 10 today at 4.20 plus vat., great job as usual❤
Pretty brave of the daughter to try to do such a large area of paving. Welcome to Connor and best wishes he enjoys the work. You certainly will be doing a large volume of sanding. Glad you are working out design on the new trailer. (A hello to the owner, your place looks well kept and loved. Great you have a scooter to get around the large areas.) That was a lot of water to be moving around, a good day for the water vacuum. The sanding does look gorgeous.
Two videos in a week?! Get in! I so love watching your channel, Sid, and watching your company grow and succeed. Thank you (again!) for choosing to take us all on that journey. Anyway, better get in with watching this new video now 😉☺ PS - our kittens are fans of yours too now. They've been watching your channel since they were 2 months old. They're 9 months now and they end up transfixed! 🐈 😻
Sid, I’m only a year older than you and you know what? I’m damn proud of you. I’ve been watching your channel for years and no matter how many times things go awry and you get knocked down, you always manage to build yourself back up bigger and better. Seriously, great job! It’s impressive and refreshing to see someone my age hustling this hard doing real, honest and good work. Keep it up, man!
What a nice surprise, and a big Hello to Connor 👋🏻😃 A welcome addition to the team, I'm sure. It's worth a lot to be working with people you like and trust. This is one of my favorite channels. I found you early on, when you were scraping roofs and learning the business, and I've been cheering you on from the sidelines ever since. Looking forward to every new adventure ☺️✊🏻
If you're going to raise the jockywheel on grass (once fixed) is helpful to put a piece of ply, or something similar, under to stop it from sinking into the ground.
Can't remember when I joined but you probably had 20k subs. You've come a long way Sid, proud of you and hope your brother is doing well. This property is absolutely gorgeous, always so nice to see the transformation it changes everything.
Oh wow well here's the deal. If you can get the trailer properly reinforced so that it can stand up to all the commercial level work then Tanky McTankerson can go on all sorts of adventures in cleaning!
Make sure the nose weight is not too high for the van's towbar. I think you need stabiliser legs on all 4 corners of the trailer so when it's unhitched it's supported at both ends - especially useful if your on a slope with no hand brake!!!!
The end bit where you have walked all over and the one bit you see that isn't perfect....that is why you will be a millionaire. You set good standards and have an eye for the details. Try not to burn yourself out but looking forward to more vids of your journey.
Hey sid, just wondering if you could possibly say what is the purpose of resanding a driveway as wouldn't the wind would blow it away? Sorry if you've answered it before 😅 just curious
Lots of work, Sid. But it paid off. It looks excellent. Sand has gone up in price everywhere. In Argentina we have a very large coast line with extensive sand banks, beaches and quarries, yet sand has become extremely expensive for a small operator or the average bloke. Glad to see a mate of yours joining the squad. Working with friends is on of the best things in life. Makes the job rather enjoyable. Cheers.
Watching you hose off your shoes made me think of Vessie. They make allegedly waterproof shoes if you haven't heard of them. I haven't tried them, but I would if they sponsored you and you gave them a decent review. Who better to promote waterproof shoes than a man whose feet are basically in water all day long?? I really enjoy your videos, please keep them coming!
5:09 lmao, not Sidde rizzin up the ole lady 😂 You're the best, Sir Sid! EDIT: Wait, man say he got sunburn on his neck, but (other man?) goin bareback? 😅 I'm guessing wearing sunscreen is a definite HELL NO from the dudes eh Siddie?
I'm curious to how much money a job this size costs :O You had four guys, three days, and ~50 bags of sand for the job. Obviously that nice old lady could afford it but what's the price of a beautiful job like this to make it worth?
Fantastic work as always, I never really comment, is there any reason why you don’t use a surface cleaner, just curious that’s all, I did my patio other day and it took me about 6 hours to do which was 50 square meters would think a surface cleaner would do it quicker?
Nice work looks fantastic hope you don't mind me saying it doesn't look very professional working with your tops off trying to give constructive feedback
Might be a little late to the party but maybe a couple of legs on the frame would be better than a heavy duty jockey wheel? Like a caravan. Or for a very cheap and easy solution just chuck an axel stand under the arm before you disconnect from the tow bar, that way if it does drop at least it won’t go far
Well done, you're an inspiration to me and my friend over in Northern Ireland that have started doing this work and we learn a lot from you, we want our TNT company to be as good as yours one day and grow as you have. What camera do you use that has a good battery time... ours runs out quickly? lol
That was a really good video! I'll be praying that everything works out for you and your crew. There are some things that are just out of your control. Have an awesome holiday for all of you!
That jockey wheel is nowhere near big enough for the weight on that, whoever designed that with that size on really didn’t think that one through very well😂
Great job Sid I did a 650sqm block paved driveway on my own a few weeks ago and it took me 3 days and I ached the day after but it looks great and my needle valve does the same too
On smaller jobs Sid I use a fine spray after sanding which forms a crust on the sand and stops it blowing everywhere , I’m like you slight ocd , can’t bare to see sand on top of the blocks
From Halifax in Nova Scotia I'd like to say your such a good worker, down times or up you're doing well and thank you for the video jobs that you share.
Appreciate your work dude, but you talk a lot more than actually showing us your work part. We want to see the cleaning part in 95% of the video & not much talking. Otherwise like your videos 👍
Sorry to hear about the catastrophes last week, Sid. I would have commented on the last one, but time was short. Great to see you bouncing back, though. Great job here, too, as it looked immense. Often thought about getting you to do our roof, but I guess Bedfordshire might be a tad far. See you on the next one, mate.
The trailer is a great idea if you lived in Dubai but the state of the uk now sadly that’s like driving around with a block of gold on the back on your van. If a gypsy spots that he will simply stick an air tag on it and it will be gone. It needs to be in a box trailer or something out of site out of mind. You also need to check licenses because using a trailer commercially now has changed. If you haven’t passed your driving test before 1996 you have to be trained and pass a test. Just thought I would let you know. I would scrap the trailer and get it bolted in a van if I was you because it’s definitely going to disappear
@@buddysinsight9834 It was done to free up examiners to do HGV tests when there was a shortage of drivers. Every B licence holder now has BE as well but the maximum weight differs depending on the date you got BE. Bit of a nightmare.
@@SparkcatcherFox I wonder how clued up your average traffic officer is on them rules these days I should imagine not many so people would be just running around anyway.
I know from our own experience in re-sanding that you can always spread the sand out a little more rather than blowing it, reckon you may have blown away quite a few bags worth but then if you've blown it in the right direction chances are it's landed in the gaps further up anyway and tbh, a driveway that big I'd probably have rather blown it prematurely than brush it to get every last drop from it. Either way, as always, epic video and well done to you guys, always a great finish.
yeah for sure, opted for speed over everything else on that one or it would of been over a full day just to sand it. definitely blew away at least a bag i reckon
God bless you Sid. Take care of yourself and rest a bit. Everything will work out fine in the end. This job turned out beautifully. Much love to you and your family.❤❤❤
