8K MAGNESIUM GPX Under $100! MCHOSE AX5 Pro Max Review (not shocking)

i think you have a certain fanboy issue with another brand and did not make a point of looking for the software and evaluating this mouse without your fanboy, you put many negative points that would be normal in several mice but in this one you increased

im in china for vacation right now and I have the ax5 not pro. It cost 299 rmb or around 43 usd and it feels great. The switches arent mushy or have any side play but it does have a bit of pretravel (like 1mm). Everything else feels pretty good.

It took me 2 minutes to find the software. The base model weighs 49g. The holes are pretty much the same size as the BeastX. I used the crap out of this mouse for a week just to make sure the clicks don't go bad on me, but they feel good to me. I would have to guess your clicks are defective, which obviously you got what you got. One other person complained about grinding, and another person I spoke to has had no issues. As for the balance, if you pick the mouse up directly in the middle it is perfectly balanced so I am not sure how the mouse is front-heavy. I agree the scroll wheel is too large which adds a hair of weight, and the solid sides also add a little weight. They could have used a little smaller battery. For my hands, the AX5 fits better than a GPX. I am not a fan of the black skates but there are 3rd party skates if you don't like them.

so sad the title had me incredibly hyped just for that hype to be all shattered within 2 minutes

The magnetic removable scate cover is such a nice Idea if they get the qc and bq in check I would actually buy this one.

there are 3 variants, the ax5 (49g) and the ax5 pro and the ax5 pro max (both 53g) the difference between the ax5 pro and pro max is the pro is 4k instead of 8k, the ax5 is also 4k. would like to see you test that one

I like the rating scale of how much you would pay per hour to use the gpx over whatever you are rating.

Hi Boardzy, i’ve had problems with my ULX sensor with Artisan Shidenkai v2 so since i know you have the pad too. So where could i contact you? Maybe you could test ULX with the pad too if you have any issues? My issue is when lifting the mouse and releasing back to the pad the sensor doesn’t read for second or so. I tried without pad on the table and had no issue but I don’t have second pad to try on right now. So I just wanted to know if my ULX’s sensor is faulty or pad issue?

my pro max was set to 1k out of the box and had to turn it up to 8k on the software. it also has perfect mbuttons and felt better than my viper v2 pro. seems that theres unit variance

there is software on their website. Also there is 3 version the pro and pro max have the larger battery the simple AX 5 non pro or max has diff switches and battery.

recently ditched my superbrick for a w no l mini mouse and was one of the best decisions i could ever make just having problems with the software. could just be getting all my secret information for all i know shit just dont work

I actually have 2 of these (long story). The shape is pretty good, but the build quality is not on par with other magnesium mice on the market. The clicks do indeed feel cheap, and the stock feet are terrible.

actually mchose does have a mouse software, but it's literally just an oem software that those cheap chinese oem have in common with the only difference being their branding on the app. At least it does its job decently.

Just do not buy it. I have got AX5 pro Max and it is randomly freeze when I move the mouse too fast(low sens). Im on return process rn.
