8th Grade Springboro Volleyball vs Centerville, played on September 25, 2014 at Springboro Junior High School. Springboro won the match 2-0, putting their record at 11-0 for the season. The team is currently on a 31 match winning streak.
BRO the referee is the worst referee I have EVER seen. Half of the volleys for both teams were definite lifts, a girl from Boro basically CARRIED the over, there was a momma there a girl from Boro touched it twice, and her team played it twice MEANING they played it 4 times. The girls are actually good at volleyball but I want to see them play fairly because I think the results would be different
Horse Lover You know that it’s the referree who says if it’sa point for them or a point for Centerville? I’ve had many times where I made a huge mistake but we still got the point because the referree didn’t see it.
Chef Marvelous no the first touch was considered a block... a block doesn't count as a touch so when the ball touched the blockers hands it just meant it was touched so they just continued the play with 3 touches
By the grade and date of video, they should have graduated by now. I wonder how these girls faired in high school? Were they successful, did they go into the playoffs, any college offers? I'm curious about #15, did she improve? How tall was she here - looks like 5'10" or taller. Not a bad team Great job editing the video by only showing the game action and by removing all the extra fluff.
