8th Grade Springboro Volleyball vs. Lebanon Maroon played at Springboro Junior High School on September 18, 2014. Springboro won the match 2-0, improving to 9-0 on the season and extending their winning streak to 29 matches.
For 9th grade they are awesome!!! They are lucky to have a decent setter. At my school, our 9th grade coach doesn’t pay attention to training the setters. I’m very happy to see some advanced girls. Also are we not gonna talk about #15?? Dude she is so tall.
Gracie R. Bruv, not every team can be the pitch perfect team you have. They may have a smaller school and as such can’t afford to make cuts to the team, or maybe they can do overhand but the coach does not think that overhand is the best decision at that moment, they may have more control with underhand, ie maybe you can do an okay overhand with a 50% success rate, but your underhand has a 80% success rate *and* has a float. Now what do you think? Should they do an overhand; or underhand? What is the better decision?
why is nobody talking about the doubles on the maroon side? Like I’m no professional but I play volleyball so I think I’m qualified enough to say that those sets aren’t supposed to spin like that.
Burgundy team needs to work on setting, spiking, and overall everything. They are spiking like it’s an overhand serve and they are numbing straight into the ceiling. Horrible team. Coach needs to do better
Gracie R. If they’re all in grade 8 they are the 13-14 year old range. Also @Jasimne Chanel the team was not in any way horrible and the coach might not have done a bad job. A: You don’t know what they were like before this game. B: This could be their first game/ practice game of the season. C: You need to understand that not every team can be like Boro. D: In my opinion they did a good job, plus this game could’ve been better than their last. E: Well yes they didn’t do amazing they is always room for improvement. I’m not saying that the burgundy team had no problems but not everything was horrible. From what I can tell it’s the formation and control that they need to improve on, not the strength, sportsmanship and teamwork they need to work on in which I believe is the most important points in volleyball.
Yes. Most of the girls have some skill and talent, but the coach needs to switch people around. Their hits are horrendous. They need to work on approach and wrist flick.
@@jas-777 when the opposing team would serve the ball , the ball would go to her and she would loose the ball and go out of control. She needs to work on control and balance . And the middle back shouldn't need help to get a good bounce or "defend" after a great serve when the ball was coming to her unless she was a blocker and u needed cover 🤷🏾♀️
Jasmine Chanel cause she kinda looked at the other player with her hands out of you see when they are about to huddle up after that, she’s kinda blaming the other girl when clearly it was behind her
