my school is alll about each sport. every grade has about 90% of the students at each junior high/middle school meets/games. it's very nice to have a caring audience for each sport
Julieta Hehe ikr...at my school though, we did have a student section and all the students came to every home game and supported us! We ended up winning every game and only lost one set the whole year and our fellow students were all very supportive of our school
This is the most hype highschool volleyball game I ever watched😂 the home team played so well and they work together very well. Just imagine how nervous both teams were before this game tho
when my team playing against another school, the whole audience is silent. literally. all you hear is ¨mine!¨ or the sound of your hand hitting the volleyball.
We were playing in other school gymnasium and the audience were literally booing and making fun of us. I didn't care because it's part of the game but it's felt amazing after we won the match. They weren't looking at the court and most of them left the gymnasium.
I go to piedmont and we competed against Marvin ridge middle school volleyball team and they ...... let’s just say that they beat us bad 😂 but we still the best 😊
yo...these teams have SUPPORT, not only from their family but also their friends and classmates... no one shows up to any of our games...it's kinda sad
Whenever the any team missed the ball or doesn’t get a point I’m like “ it’s okay guys let’s get them next time.” And then I think to myself like “wth am I talking to a screen.”
Yes I understand that #4 on the winning team was fantastic and I’m not denying that, but their libero is unbelievably good. Bright future ahead for both ❤️!
Held my breath in the whole time @ 34:27 and a few more after that. .. omg made me want to get back into volleyball at the age of 37...... totally doing it 😂
Bro that guy in 18:35 in the white shirt got me cracking up the whole entire match and second I have never seen a team that plays so good then them my school can’t even win one game
the team that lost was the team at my school and OMG THIS WAS SO FRUSTRATING TO WATCH LIKE WTF ARE YOU DOING CARLY they won states this past year so it’s gotten better since this mess lol
Her heels were still on the center line. Under high school rules, you can contact the opponent's court with hand or foot as long as part of that hand or foot is in contact or above the center line. There's no center line violation at 17:15. What's eventually called, after discussion, is ball out off of the team on the left. I don't know how that call was arrived at.
Mahi Mathur it gives you more momentum and it makes your serves hit harder and faster. If you were to hit it while in mid air, chances are you’ll lose control over the ball and miss
I agree she clearly hit the ball and then jumped she just approached to it the hit then jumped you’re supposed to approached and hit jump and the same tims
When i watched this video, it makes me think about like what to do, and get the ball, call the ball, cooperate with your teammates, be confident, and most importantly have fun. I do play volleyball, i am the youngest member of the team, i just finished my FIRST tournament 3 days ago, and it was really fun, and i experienced a lot of thing, but it was hard cause my team was against adults, and im only young, your probably guessing what age i am but i am actually young.
I have high school tryouts in about a month. I’m watching games to hopefully get some tips on thing I could do. I have watched a ton of other videos, but are there any players that can give me some advice?
At 17:17, I'm confused. Why are they arguing when #13 was clearly over the line when she hit. Even though the ball went out, she was over the line, making the point, and ball, the other teams point and ball.
When she lands, her feet are still in contact the center line. That's legal. In high school, you can touch your opponent's court with her feet or hands as long as some part of the foot or hand is in contact or above the center line. The fault that's initially signalled looks to be a net violation on the team on the left. It's not really clear whether it's center line or net for the contact at the bottom of the net. There's no number shown as should be shown for net, but the R1's hand is too high for a center line. After the discussion, the final signal is for the ball being out off the team on the left. That doesn't make much sense. My best look at it is that it should be a net violation on number 13 on the team on the left. Her left side appears to contact the bottom of the net.
she’s not horrible. probably the coaches daughter, that’s why she got the libero spot. but theres better players on the team that could be liberos. also, i feel like she just needs some practice.
@@shelbyfaye17 The libero cannot send the ball to the opponent's court from anywhere if they contact the ball entirely above the height of the net. The attack line makes no difference for libero contacts.
