OMG -- how awesome it is to see Peter and the other iconic restaurateurs of Saskatoon! Fuddruckers was a marvelous experience for me when Peter hired me right out of Hotel & Restaurant Management school in 1985. Opening the Saskatoon location and seeing it thriving after 33 years is utterly heartwarming. I sure do miss him. My best to you, Sabrina. Keep up the great work!
I used to work at the Subway on the corner of 8th & Emerson in that little mini mall, it opened in 1990 but it operated half the building the other half was operated by a Fas Gas Station and then Fas Gas closed in 2010 if I remember correctly and the Subway now inherited the whole building in i believe 2011 & now added a drive through it is across the street from the A&W to the west and next door to the Pink Cadillacs to the east and in front of the TacoTime to the south across the street from the Co,Op home centre
Does anyone remember "Dog 'N Suds" ... It was quite near where A & W is/was. Also loved Fuddruckers, but that was much later. Those were the days to cruise !!! Miss that all now and it is too bad!!
Went to school with his daughter and met Loyd once.Classy guy back in the day.Went to ABCI and hung around 8th. Street filling our teenage faces with whistle dogs and teen burgers.
