Yeah! Love seeing your daily routine ❤ nice to see people online with actual 9-5 jobs too. And yours are the best so please don't wait another 2 years!x
I watch your videos almost every morning before starting my work from home day 😅 this way I feel everyone lives the exact same life as I do, and has to work as well. Thank you for sharing your moments of life with us 🫶🏽
Totally love all the pieces you purchased for your home especially the little bowl and the coffee table tray! You always make your meals look so appealing and yummy. Your tuna was done so simple and looked so good. Absolutely love your home...looks cozy! Thanks for sharing with us.
That lamp!! Love this vlog as I WFH full time and just had my home renovated so I relate ❤ oh and love what you said about waiting a few months to live in the new house before purchasing more items: such wise advice!
Ellen! I got The Productivity Method notion planner this year too and at first it was daunting ngl, especially since I’m also a lover for pen and paper! But I found a way to work with both! Basically I use the notion planner to track and my notepad to note take. All my freelance projects, home projects, etc are on notion. Once a week I update the tasks to do for each project, update the progress (there’s even a percentage of completion based on how many tasks you’ve ticked off! It’s amazing), I store any files and documents in each project page and each morning, at the start of my work day, I’m able to see the progress of all my projects and assess what I need to work on first, second … I then make, what I like to call a “shortlist” (basically the most important tasks to do that day) by hand on paper! I’ve found this to be the best method for me and it has honestly changed my life! I’m much more prompt with due dates, my time management skills has improved. Still not perfect but exponentially better!! Maybe that’s what will work for you too :)
Hi Ellen, Absolutely love your vlogs!!❤ & i can relate to you making a house more homely especially with the pieces you've purchased which are lovely & so are the meals you prepare so thankyou for sharing that
Hi Ellen! I just found your channel yesterday and it was perfect timing. I will soon be starting my first ever full-time job since graduating university. It's a 9-5 office job so it's really nice to see your experiences. Fortunately, the job involves working from home on Mondays and Fridays, so it should be a nice balance. I'm honestly surprised you don't have more subscribers because you seem like such a charismatic and genuine person. I look forward to seeing your channel grow and thrive, you deserve it! Thanks so much for the wonderful content and I can't wait to see more.
Missed u girl:)! Ellen Love your vlogs, I start watching them 2 months ago and till now I watched them all. I'm on similar position at work in Poland and to be honest u r inspiration for me. You are a breath of fresh air on YT !!!Fingers crossed for u!
Hi Ellen, love your lamp, it fits perfectly on the shelf and the shade complements your drapes. I just started using Notion a few weeks ago and so far I like it when I remember to use it🤦🏽♀️ I am so used to writing things down that it is a bit of a learning curve for me to get in the habit of typing it in. I do think it will be worth it though because ultimately I think I will be more organized having everything in one place. Have a great week!!🌹😊
I love your energy! I can’t wait for the next vlog since you are so proud of it. Ima be real that I did expect a big home makeover but alright that lamp is cute lol 😅
Ellen - thanks for your videos, you really capture them beautifully. I too can relate, I have a 1.5 (each way) commute to downtown Toronto, it is exhausting but fortunately I only have to be in the office just two days a week. Keep up the great work, your channel is amazing.
Hello loved seeing you back again ❤, oh what I have seen is people buying off Amazon the stickers you pop on the bottom of a pretty glass jar etc and pop the matches in and then you can swipe them on the bottom to light them 😊. What gorgeous pieces you got for your home. Oh yum 😋 I love fruity chocolate. Oh your lunch looked amazing will Jane to try that. Did Cameron get a nibble of it 😂. Awhh Cameron is such a perfectionist with the tying curtains back ❤. You’ll be great not working but totally get you feeling that way. Have a great week. xx
Hello Ellen, sorry for the late reaction. I was sick AGAIN!!! I have so had it!! But I am better now. And I had seen you video's. I always do. They are so nice and Iook forward to them every week. I really love how you enjoy your days. Thank you so much got sharing them with us. It is really inspiring. I hope you had a good week and wish you the best weekend. ❤❤❤ I look forward to your vlog from your weekend away. I am sure it is a cosy and nice one. 😊
I watched RU-vid videos about notion so I could learn how to use it. Trick is to make it simple so you’re more likely to use it. Also you can get free notion templates so you don’t have to create anything from scratch. What did you think of juicy marbles? As someone who eats little meat I didn’t mind it 🤷🏽♀️
I loved the ACOTAR series. I told you on instagram that I finished a few weeks ago. I think that I literally finished all the books in less than 2 months. It's just like you said, you simply can not stop reading.
Hehe so like the lullaby music.Perfect for a busy working couple.I was just saying ti my daughter and my son in law that an Audio book is the best sleeping draught iv known.Especially a soothing drone of a voice.😆🎉
I’ve nearly finished the final one now and I’m so sad for it to end 😭 trying to savour it! I’ll definitely talk more about contracting in an upcoming video ❤️
I think the box may be made from Mulanji cedar wood, I recognised the wood carving straight away. We have several boxes like this of different sizes from when my parents lived in Malawi. It's a kind of cedar wood unique to Mulanji. Lauren's van der Post, the South African author, describes Mulanji cedar in one of his books.
Ohhh wait until you read her Throne of Glass (ToG) series 🤯. I really wish I could read that for the first time again. Books 2, 3 & 5 are the best in ACOTAR
thank you ❤ I'm hoping to spend a couple of months focusing on creating more content for YT and also spending some time doing things that I've always wanted to do but never felt I've had the time e.g. there is a local wildlife shelter i have always wanted to volunteer at. My plans aren't set yet but i'm excited to get thinking about it soon ☺
Change always takes a while to adapt to but lean in and enjoy the time off. Think of all the outings and vlogging content. On a separate note cant believe how long the dishwasher timer was, they do reduced times no longer than an hour😂 save you a fortune x
thank you ❤ i am so excited to be able to vlog more. Haha so funny you noticed the dishwasher timer, its so long isnt it?! but it is the 'eco' setting, so it lowers the temp of the cycle making it more energy efficient. We only put it on over night as no one has time to wait 3 hours in the day! ❤
@@ellenalicemiller 😆too observant sorry. We have the same dishwasher but on eco and then to the right is a clock with arrows this will halve the time. Enjoy your time between contracts, looking forward to the adventures and more you time x
Just a tip, could do with a second or 2 between edit cuts so it dosnt sound like your on one huge sentence for 10 minutes withouut taking a breath. Nice to know how you work and what you do though for productivity.
Hi, Helen, How's it going? I hope you're having an amazing day. Wow, Your lifestyle is amazing and You have a passion for what you're doing. Thank you very much for this video, Have a nice weekend and Have a wonderful day at work. 🇬🇧💂🙂👏👏👏👍
@@ellenalicemiller aldi did a dupe....but it wasn't as nice. If I run out I'm going to try and make my own looking at the ingredients on the back of the packet :-)
It wasn't bad you know! I mean, its no real steak 😂 the texture was kind of like pulled pork/ beef brisket - but ngl it was kind of a vibe, i liked it! ❤
It’s kind of like Human Resources but focusing on how change in a company affects people and minimizing stress and easing the transition. Like if they’re implementing a new technology.
