The concept of focusing on the short life of each season and appreciating the experiences that each season offers really resonated with me. I usually think I can't wait for the cold season of winter to be over but, being mindful of and appreciating the unique things that this season offers, is a great mindset to have. Thank you for that insight.

I feel the same in that I want a traditional corporate job, and I did have that in London. I still have a corporate job, but now I live in Madrid. It unlocked a whole different side of me living abroad. Unfortunately I didnt document all of this (I wish I did!) but better late than never!! I just started Alice’s adventures on instagram tik tok and RU-vid and BOY it takes a lot of work. I’m glad you spoke about how naive you were and how long everything takes - I was the same! And still am to some degree… one video takes soooo long! Even getting the angles for filming a simple day routine etc eek! You’re doing an amazing job it is inspiring to see your channel that I love, but realising that for two years you have accumulated 35K and it is a slow journey despite all the hard work and great content.❤❤❤

I loved seeing you and Cameron together. He loves you so much and looks at you with that twinkle. You do tend not to look at him when he makes those gestures, almost as if you're uncomfortable with letting someone else in (so you won't get hurt). Probably that's too much to say, but I think you'll do better together if you try to reflect some of that "love look" back to him. You're such a lovely person and he sees it through and through.

Sorry about the mouldy cupboard. It’s probably nothing more serious than the result of using that room to dry laundry. The moisture will condense in the coldest corners and then the mould can thrive. Ventilation in the room and drying laundry somewhere in the house where the air is moving more could help, as could using a dehumidifier if that room is the only place to dry the washing.
Cameron is just adorable and you two are so cute together 😍😍 it's funny how you set certain rules for your online dating, like not being from a different country. I'd done the same for myself but my fiance slipped through the net as well. I think when they are the right person sometimes those little boundaries you set do slip away. I can see why you're a good change management consultant - you're analytical (bio degree), creative (youtube, swimwear business) and have high emotional intelligence (framing break up positively as a period of growth), which helps with calming down distraught clients who are afraid to use new systems and remembering all of the details of the system to help train them and take it over.

I have discovered your channel recently and of course RU-vid served me a lot of your old videos. I saw a video and I did a double take when I saw your ex. Wait it is a different guy! In that video you were actually talking about your ex and how you disagreed about lots of things. I thought wow lots of red flags there, it totally made sense you are not with him anymore. So good to see a couple so responsible with money and not following what every other youtuber does. Also you obviously look very much in love and respectful of each other. Yes to colour in interiors! I am so fed up with the obsession with neutrals, which is a whole load of greige. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the house.
No ways! Cameron’s folks are in Hermanus?! I lived there for 3 and a half years and moved back to KZN a year ago. We still own a house in Hermanus. Plan is to go back in a few years. Hopefully one day I’ll bump into you guys on holiday. 😜🤞🏻
They actually live in KZN too in Durban! but his grandparents are in Somerset west and can’t travel as easily anymore so we wanted to go and see them and then just had an Airbnb in hermanus for a few days. It was so lovely! ❤️

My contract with my corporate job is actually finishing later this year - so I’ll be doing RU-vid full time for a bit until I find a new contract! And I’m so excited to see what YT full time will be like 🥰❤️
