I just finished Silver Flames last night! I was so sad for that series to end. Thank you for the suggestions on what to read next. I downloaded Bride to listen to for the next few days. I love Taylor Jenkins Reid also!! Did you read Daisy Jones and the Six? Love all your vlogs but these book ones are especially great❤📚🧚‍♀️

So used to your vlogstyle where you take us with you and show us everything 🙈 and unless I missed something you didn't tell us about your new waterglasses before. The books sounds amazing. But at some point you spoil just a little bit to much for me 🙈. But then again... not sure if I am gonna read them. So no harm done. Reading is indeed an expensive hobby. I slay books so I know all about it. And for the SF book. SF is just another way of fantasy 😊❤❤❤

Waaaaa I just finished Crescent City and it was my last SJM book 🥲 my first ever fantasy book series was The Belgariad when I was 16 and I was hooked! I absolutely love that fantasy has become so main stream now ❤ I feel like all the SJM books are so unfinished and I am so so ready for new books! Loving your recommendations.

I read fourth wing before ACOTAR, and actually loved it. Iron flame less so, but I’m invested enough in it to be excited for the next one. It’s a super easy read, demolished in 48 hours and I think you’ll enjoy it. It’s a really good gateway sexy fantasy- even if the world building isn’t as strong as SJM. I’m now part way through TOG on heir of fire, and am absolutely obsessed. Didn’t think ACOTAR could be topped but really it has!

I think Once upon a Broken Heart sounds like a great read!! Thanks for sharing with us!

🦄🐉 glad you got into fantasy and scifi soon. Those were always my favorite genres and still are. I actually dipped my foot into suspense/mystery/thriller books because of a friend's recommendation so I cannot recommend enough The One by John Marrs and The Housemaid by Freida Mcfadden.

Cannot wait for you to read Fourth Wing and Iron Flame - I had a huge SJMuniverse hangover, almost mourned the end and the fact even if I read them again it’ll never be the first time again. However I read fourth wing straight away and it’s not that similar (no fae, no eternal life) and utterly adored it. I think you’ll love it too. Xx

I recently watched a YT from Cari can read, and she said that is not necessarily to read de first book from Caraval to understand the second one, but it all depends if you decide to read Caraval in the future once upon a broken heart is gonna spoil you caraval finale

I loooved Red Rising! It really surprised me since it took me a while to get into the story, but then omg! Then, if you do decide that you would like to try some more sci-fi, and enjoy dry humour, I have to suggest one of my all-time favourite books Project Hail Mary. It blew my mind actually, several times. Tbh, I also cried a bit at some point

I never read fantasy which is weird because I am a witch and into all things mystical! I find myself in a reading slump so I have bought something new to try, House of Earth and blood. Is this a good one to start with?

I'm re-reading Divine by.... its a series by PC Cast. 3 books, Divine by Mistake, Divine by Choice and Divine by Blood. Then there's a couple of spin offs. I first read it about 10 years ago and really enjoyed it so decided to reread. Really enjoying it 2nd time round too. 😊

Great reading vlog❤ I think you might love ‘The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue’ by VE Schwab, it’s one of those books that blew me away and has stayed with me. Basic premise is it is initially set in 1714 and a young woman in a moment of desperation makes a Faustian bargain to live forever and is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets. It follows her life over 300 years and has a fantastic twist and conclusion x

I have about 150 pages left of A Court of Silver Flames and I'm kind of scared lol. So much always happens in the last 100 pages of SJM books hahaha. I'm diving right into ToG once I finish ACOSF. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Fourth Wing! I haven't read it yet but its on my list! Loving all the book content :)

Once you have got through that stash you should definitely read Fourth Wing, it is gritty and cruel and mysterious. But just to warn you it is not a complete series there are only 2 out of 5 books out.

Actually, a question for you - how does Cameron feel about the new reading obsession? I’m in a similar SJM bind and feel like my husband is annoyed that I’m not interested in tv anymore and just want to go to bed and read every evening after work (he is not much of a reader, but often comes up with me and plays on his phone whilst I read). It feels like a solitary hobby, but that’s hard with a partner! I guess my dream is to get him in to the obsession too, but he heard faerie and won’t come near it!!
