Hello friends and fellow working mom warriors! I'm a full-time work from home mom (I have a typical 9-5 job and work remotely Mon-Fri) and today I'm sharing my weekly cleaning and housework routine. I'm so grateful to be able to work from home because it allows me to get cleaning and housework done throughout the week. I try to use my lunch hour or short breaks when I need to step away from my computer screen to get things done like folding laundry, vacuuming, mopping the floors, and cleaning the bathrooms. I became a new mom at 43. I also work a full time job as a configuration manager. I struggle relating to any of my friends, because they all had children in their 20's. I struggle balancing my career, baby and everything related to babies. I feel overwhelmed at times. But your content truly helps a lot. I have been using my😅 breaks to do chores. It's been a game changer. Keep up the awesome job.

@jaora4279 as a mom of 19,16, and 2 year old. House work will never end. I lost so much energy and time perfecting everything. Until I had my 2 year old I let loss and I'm a better mom for it as they grow so fast I don't want my children to remember me as the neat freak. I also work from home. Cleaning will get done and get dirty again.

When my babies were napping I did their sheets a few times a week. Now that they are bigger and only get in bed with fresh jammies and after a bath I do it every two weeks. Mine and my husbands get changed weekly. I love the weekly schedule. I do: Monday- clean out fridge, get groceries, food prep day Tuesday- work from home day Wednesday- sheets and plantcare Thursday- clean bathrooms Friday- dust, vacuum and mop Laundry, dishes and tidying happen daily!

I change the sheets every week on a Friday. I used to do weekend laundry but recently changed to every alternate day or once in two days. It's been the best thing. I am working on prioritizing bathroom cleaning n vacuuming upstairs more frequently lol. Downstairs, we have a irobo that does it's job. Nice vlog ❤

That's a great idea about the laundry! I definitely need to prioritize vacuuming upstairs as well but I feel like it’s not used that much so I don’t get hung up on it lol take care! 🩷🩷

I don’t know why, but cleaning the bathroom is my least favorite place to clean. 😂 I work remotely most of the time and I like the ability to clean on my breaks so I have my weekends free. ❤

Hi! Usually I do the cooking, groceries, and bathrooms and my husband does laundry, dishes, and vacuuming. The rest we kinda just do as needed by whoever is bothered by it. Works out well for us!

I always did everything house cleaning cooking laundry ect. For 20yrs.. once diagnosed with 2 very painful chronic diseases, the family started helping in house more. I still work full time and I still do 85to90% because I am the one home earlier in evening. Hubby will do dishes each night, hand wash. And each person does own laundry. If I'm not up to cleaning or cooking they will help more

Hi Amanda, I totally agree about changing our bed sheets once a week, it feels so good, but my kids I usually change it every other week and sometimes every two weeks. We have very similar tasks with duties around the house and husbands duties, the only difference is I also do the check book, can’t really trust him to make a monthly payment 😂. As always love your content. The only thing I notice and I said to myself if I was there with you I would tell you, I would put some shelf’s in the laundry room so you can put all the supplies there and not on top of the dryer. Home Depot or Lowe’s they have really good ones. Just a suggestion. Sending love your way ❤

So I don't have little ones but a 13 year old boy. So he has a very strict chore chart that includes dishes a few days a week, sweeping, he vacuums once a week and he cleans his bathroom. He also has been doing his own laundry for years now. The rest of the time is split between my husband and I. I do all of the cooking. We live pretty simply so cleaning really isn't to hard to keep up with when everyone has there time to clean and picks up after themselves. Makes it so not overwhelming.

I keep a scrubby and window cleaner thingy ma bob in the shower, so when ur there u might as well take a couple of mins to clean the shower whilst ur in there

Hi Amanda . I handle all things inside the home ( cooking , laundry etc ) I absolutely hate cleaning so I do have a cleaning lady come in every other Monday and I tidy up between her cleaning days. My hubby handles everything outside the home , cars, grass, landscaping and if anything needs fixing or breaks inside the home. I hate cleaning/ tidying up the bathrooms .don’t know why but dread it . Laundry , ugh struggle with that .I don’t mind putting them in washer and dryer or even folding , it’s putting those suckers away 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Can you pls tell me why you wear gloves when washing dishes? To keep your polish good? I need to get a pair . Love your videos. ❤

Love this!! Seems very similar to how my husband and I split things up! Agree about the bathrooms…hate cleaning them too! I wear gloves to do dishes because I just hate the way my hands feel after washing…all pruny and sometimes they get really dry. They also help preserve my nail polish!

Happily single 42 year old mom here, but my kids ages are 21, 17, 8, all live with me. My 8 year old has special needs and does nothing, which even if he didn’t I wouldn’t give him chores, but my older kids are responsible for their own laundry and bedding and my 21 year old son cleans his own bathroom (if that’s what you want to call it lol I just don’t go in there) and he’s responsible for taking the trash out. My bathroom I clean and share it with my 17 year old daughter and my 8 year old son just uses whichever bathroom he chooses at the time. We all share dish duties, and I do basically everything else myself. I WFH 2 days per week so that’s when the majority gets done.

Once a week for kids just like ours. Your house is always so tidy and clean. It takes a lot of work. It’s a never ending job for sure. You rock. You can do it all. I know I’m constantly at it.

I usually don’t have much ironing myself since I wfh and wear leggings and a t shirt most days and my husband gets his work clothes dry-cleaned so there isn’t much for us!

I did sheets once/wk when I just had two. With three now, I do every other week but Quinn's every 4 days. When my oldest starts doing his own sheets, which is any min now, I may get back into the weekly schedule! I love a clean bed so much :) I don't do my husbands laundry or bed sheets anymore lol we sleep separate bc of snoring! :'-D
