Larry looks sick! Definitely 2inch spacer in rear and swap the grill and front bumper from Big Red. Then 37 Grapps on 03 f150 FX4 stocks, or 24x14's on 35's!
L…A…R…R…Y…!!! He looks absolutely incredible, been a long time and I’m so glad Larry finally has his lift! I say 37s with a 10-12 wide at max but I would love any old school look as you mentioned!! Keep up the amazing work!👍
Recently just bought a 2005 crew cab Silverado with a 5.3 in it and I love to see chomper content gonna have to go back and look at what u did love the videos keep it up
Just throwing this idea out there. I think you should do a giveaway with Larry after you get it completed! 🤷🏽♂️ 25-50 dollar mystery boxes one box has the keys. That would be pretty cool.
16:43 could be camera angle but it kinda looks like the rear axle ain’t centered in the opening just figured id mention it bc it could cause issues when you go to a big boy tire. I know some lift blocks have off center alignment pins. Larry looks dope btw keep ‘em coming.
For future reference it’s a lot easier to lift the truck from the rear diff, undo the u-bolts then take two pieces of wood (like the one you stacked on the jack but bigger) and put them under the leaf springs on each side of the wheel hub then lower the truck onto those blocks it will then separate the space you need to remove the old block and replace with new one then Jack the axle back up to put ubolts back in. ALWAYS jack the truck from the rear diff when changing blocks and do one side at a time it will avoid messing up rear alignment.
I say do an old school style look. I think all the options you said would be sick. But I think some 16x12 or 16x14 or even a 16x10 and go really big on tires would look sick
The inner wheel seal behind the inner wheel bearing should be a press fit into the rotor/hub assembly. I don’t know why yours seems loose and staying with spindle unless it’s the wrong seal for the rotors/model you have. It should have to be pressed or tapped into place on the back of the rotor with a seal driver and hammer, retaining the inner wheel bearing too.
I went with the 5” lift but my wheels have negative camber and are adjusted to the max they can go, did u do anything about it? Change upper control arm?
Do you have aftermarket control arms on as of when you put the lift on??? Tried to put coil overs on my 2000 2wd and it wouldn’t clear with my stock uppers.
