There’s this moth in Eden, I think she’s in her second time and she friended me so I decided to help them, I almost sacrificed ourselves to the flying rocks but luckily the moth was patient and usually spammed call whenever she panicked. Luckily, we made it and I let her experience the rest by herself. I checked on her usually and she was really improving lately :D
Reminded me of my first visit to Eden where I became friends with a guy who decided that flying there with me was a good idea (he didn’t look like a pro at all). Then he was hit by rocks and left me. Though I was completely fine
I was pretty lucky for my first time in eden. I was stalling at the gate wondering what to do lmao. A vet noticed and friended me to go through eden together. He flew so i thought it was normal so i tried it on my second time- didnt go well lmao
My first run of Eden was like this too. We had a group of veterans guiding me, a moth, and we managed to do it without getting krilled. I never saw them again, but I am sure glad that they helped me. My cosmetics have been upgraded - i think. I just wear the sanctuary cosmetics and a crown mask. I also have a harp. And a petal cape. And I still overuse call.
me as a moth is extra friendly, whenever i lit somebody’s candle i literally go around them in circle motion to express my excitement lol and i love being like this XD

As someone who’s been playing Sky since 2019, I abuse call, friend everyone I see and still spam emotes whenever another Ikeman accepts my friends request. There might be a reason why people don’t believe I’ve been playing Sky since it came out…
Im not a moth now but I still do this but now I just realized that half of my sky friends are boys :/ and the girls are barely even active so I just go with the others but when I was a moth I had 1 friend and I never saw them again

Oh oh same, my friends were the ones who introduced me to sky and helped me. Even now they're the only ones I actively play with haha, I'm not really that social in sky 😅
i had the same points above except i guess im decent at flying but i just feel like the controls are a bit wonky but eh. im also a social awkward person so i didnt friend that many people except when i feel that theyre wholesome and worth it :) (pretty much what i feel with every game with a friend system)
Awe I miss this game... I’ve deleted it bc of storage space but I did come back one after not playing it for months. When I arrived an old friend of mine came to me just to say hello and thank you for helping him when he was a moth 🥺 He’s so much richer than me now with all his cosmetics

@@1ll2xx have you noticed that in forest always manta is flying around and sometimes it recharge you, it also can be your guide. When you go to the side for a candle, always look where manta is and follow it. It don't go everywhere with you, but it show straight way to the final shrine

it took me few days (1-2) to discover it because some guy took me and guided through maps. im still moth and that guy also looked like newborn moth, but one?? day later i saw them with cosmetics 💀💀
Meeting moths are my fave 🥺 So cute and pure hhhhhhh. I usually lead them in places and show the winged lights. When they’re reliving memories, I let go of their hand so they can do it themselves. I look for the bench in Wasteland if I haven’t unlocked the chat yet to tell them about the Home glitch. Sky 101 been here for 2 seasons only actually. Sky gets boring with the repetitive quests and when you don’t have friends with you :( So why not help moths out, right? 🤧
Sky 101 Yeah 🥺 I’ve been naming people based on where I saw them and what I was doing or what they were doing to recall them better. After some time, they’ll have better cosmetics. Sometimes they drag me for candle and winged light runs. 🤧 Most of them will have friendship circles of their own but there’s that feeling of pride cause you’re the one who guided them at the start. 🥺 Gave up on Sky when I first played it. Didn’t understand anything. Came back when a friend convinced me and explained stuff. Most of the time, the moths play alone so they have to figure stuff on their own, which can be hard sometimes. ;-;
Lol I m so antisocial I only added a friend while going through eden cause the game itself said it would be easier with friends and I was scared to go alone in there 🥺😂
I went alone and it’s harder and you really have to take note of your winged light and energy in order to move on, and plus most places where you could charge your light are far away, so it’s much more better playing Eden with a group of people.
Fact 10: Moths are the best When I have nothing to do I tend to wait at the prairie, sometimes isle for moths (cause u know, they approach anyone they see). When someone finally approach me, I use my table so they dont have to waste candles on benches. I talk to them and teach them how to use the qr then we'll go to adventures. I let them pilot so they'll learn how to fly. Im not a pro but i teach them the basics of the game. I help them get wl and relive spirits but I always let them take the lead (I dont want to ruin the experience). At the end of the day, they'll thank me and let me tell u, moths thanking u is the best. They are so sweet and it just makes u want to protect them. I would take krills just to protect moths. Bonus, it is super heartwarming when u see them wear their very first cosmetic and they just show it off to you.
As a moth momma, I can confirm all my little brownies are like this XD. There are a few moths that improve really fast like one i adopted a month ago and then he already act like pro recently. I feel proud and old lol

I met an entire group of moths when I was a moth myself, and i managed to friend all of them. Its been a good 1 month and I'm glad to say that none of us are moths anymore and know the game well. Was fun to watch them progress with me, especially the one who has finally gotten their 11th wedge
I have a few moth friends and they are literally the sweetest. I still consider myself a bit of a moth since I'm relatively new to the game but it's nice to let them take the lead sometimes and guide me wherever they want. It's like going on a new adventure every time because you never know where they may take you
when i first played the game i was talking to my friend on discord. i knew her sky kid wore a weasel mask and had a blue cape, so when i lit someone like that up i instantly friended them. well, surprise surprise that was not my friend, and they offered me their hand and dragged me through isle. i remember thinking they were a bot, so often i would offer them my hand and drag them around. i tended to bonk into stuff a lot, and i definitely couldn't fly through cloud tunnels. that veteran was so tired of me lol. the game called them galos for me. but then we went to the forest and i went afk, and galos held an umbrella over my head for like,,, half an hour.
yeAh, I got this one friend and one time they joined me and I freaked out and left, they are actually a really nice person tho and helped me through wastelands a little bit... still would like a better name for them other then “Small child” lmao
I'm definitely still a moth🤣 1) I'm poor and didn't have much cosmetics (cuz I really want buy cosmetics from season cuz they looks cool, compared to the constellation) 2) still bad at flying (a little bit) and sucks at landing 🤣 3) I didn't normally add random people (I already did I'm the past & regret my decision, cuz at the end they didn't active🤧 and I just waste my 🕯️) I'm only add people that I met&help me through out the journey especially when I'm still a newbie 4) I'm not really abusing the call & I'm only used it if I need help from others to open the door😅
Flying is only practiced to be able to steer correctly. Otherwise, a tip with flying, there are two flight modes: one is landing on long distance, makes you hover longer and helps you steer better; the other one is usually used on landing, because it is like a brake that will block you from flying to far
Its funny how this is sometimes the case for moths jashdahdjashj But we all start somewhere, you catch my drift? How about we stick to helping them and guiding them other then making fun of them?
I love helping moths, but the problem is now, no moths wants me༎ຶ‿༎ຶ I friend them, take their hand, lead them for a few seconds and then they detach and just go away, ignoring me and leaving me behind. WHAT DID I DO WRONG? AM I NOT ATTRACTIVE ENOUGH?༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽

There was once this moth who needed help in the wasteland, so I took their hand and lead them to the next area but they let go and got slapped by Krill. I was just standing there like- "yo wtf gurl"
TLDR: I declined a moth wanting to add me, they aggressively followed me around until my friend showed up and removed me from the situation. Once had a moth try to add me in home but after I declied they aggressively followed me around for a hot minute, until one of my friends finally showed up and took me to the eden gate. Before we left I saw the moth doing the angry stomp emote. (Kinda glad I didn't add them. Fyi I have, what I consider, minor social anxiety so my mind doesn't process what I should do when confronted, so I ended up panicking while standing there/trying to run and hide from them. Kinda like a deer in headlights.) If someone declines your request, please just accept it and leave them alone.
Actually as a moth when you light someone up and the person you try to light runs away then the game forces you to follow them to stop following them run in the opposite direction from where they were running
I’ve been playing for three weeks now and it seems I get mistaken as a pro despite being a moth who just has a nice seasonal spider wing. Yes, I progress pretty fast and the Eye of Eden is now my backyard. :D
I was alone as a moth in all maps. Before going to eden i had a few friends, but i couldn’t bring myself to ask for help so i watched map guides. The first time i did eden was by myself too, while watching a guide n kept pausing it every time XD I was still lonely even when i had friends, bcus i only talked to them once or twice. Until it took me awhile to decide to talk more, only then I get y d game is so much more fun with friends around :>
I love being led! I have learnt so many things from being lead by players who have been around for a while. I was a very shy new player/moth but everyone is so considerate and kind in this game. I have been led by a moth before but I honestly wanted to let them have fun being in charge :)
Tbh I really don't remember when did I get the hang of flying I remember during my moth days I was so scared of the krills, crabs and basically scared of going solo But now after 3 months of this game, I got the hang of almost everything :')
I always have a soft spot for moths. It reminded me of the first time I play Sky and the excitement! I like to follow them at Golden Wasteland and make sure they're not get krilled (like the first time I played :( )

I remember being a moth and not being able to go to the forest just because of how bad I was a flying. So I was stuck in an infinite loop of Isle of Dawn and Daylight Prairie for awhile.
This community is so precious, and the game helps my anxiety. I don’t think I could ask for better I’m the worlds biggest mouth rn, and it’s a relief to hear that the veterans prefer to lead, I always feel guilty
i’m a moth atm (just one week into playing ^^’) and pretty much everything here applies for me except the spamming-calls, friending everyone i see, and insisting on leading when i’m friended. i’m too socially awkward for that my flying’s pretty decent though
When i was a moth, i thought i was the only one left. Only because i spent a solid 40 minutes exploring the bare sand of isle yet no one was around me. Thought it was a solo adventure. Was super excited to see people and their cosmetics.
as a moth I never got lost because instead of exploring I would just honk repeatedly and follow the star that tells me where I'm supposed to go. At first I basically speedran the game accidentally because of this. also I did add everyone I met and I remember I got super surprised and sad the first time someone rejected me cuz at first I didn't know they could reject. I also remember naming every friend what I wanted to be called cuz I thought I was telling them what I wanted to be called not naming them. I remember the first time I went to eden it was cuz I got kidnapped by a veteran and took me through all of eden but then they disapeared at the end and I was so scared and cofused and I didn't know what to do but then I died and I thought I failed them and I was so sad.
So as a moth but also in the mix of being just an average player, yesterday I had met another moth, and they had friended me. (Let’s name them Lily for now). Lily helped me through the golden wasteland cuz I was scared of the krill- and we then moved to the vault of knowledge. Needing four people to open that one door, two pros who were working together helped me and lily open the door. Let’s name the other two Rose and Daisy. Then me, Lily, and Rose all became friends but I hadn't the time to friend daisy, since we were all doing this very quickly. The four of us then went through the vault, with some struggles becuz me and Lily were only around level 30-40, meanwhile rose and daisy were at much higher levels, but eventually we got past it. Moving into the *eye of Eden* Lily had either died quicker or left/logged off either from rage/frustration, being scared, or just had to go. Meanwhile rose, daisy, and I kept going further. Keep in mind this is the first time I've been in the eye of Eden, so rose and daisy mainly guided me. They also had expensive looking cosmetics that they were wearing, and neither seemed too scared to keep going further in the eye of Eden. Me and daisy then friended each other. us three then reached the point of "there is no turning back"/"awaken the spirits of your elders" (or something like that) and had to give winged light. Obvi, I died first but got so mad that I lost all my winged light, but proceeded to continue the game and keep being magical. That was a scary but odd experience
Moths is the cutest. Look how moth play when starting. See how they react to others. Isnt that cute. How do you feel when you see moths running in isle when they cape light depletes. Thanks to tgc for making such an amazing game.❤❤
Then there is me a moth who was sorta bad at flying, never got lost, never lit anybodys candle unless they came up to me, and had 6 wedges by the time I got to Vault in one day.
Couldn't agree more. I got broke by using candles on benches. Even lost my light in the rain XD. But now golden wasteland is my playground. Especially the graveyard.
I was kidnapped today by a moth from Home right to the forest, after good 15 minutes of me trying to continuously invite the moth to sit behind the table to chat, the moth run away to befriend a whole bunch of other players, made a group of 4 and kidnapped all of us to the forest entrance...until the moth suddenly changed his/her mind and decided to turn us all back to the social forest area...I still wonder what was that XD
But remember, they could be someone like me who's a journey guide veteran so basically has a good idea on what to do, and can speedrun eden because "it's much easier to wade through water then to run up a snow mountain with stone guardians constantly attacking you", and just face the krill head on because "it's a shrimp. Not like a big guardian with a carved spotlight eyeball charging at you. And yes i know blue is good red is bad.". and don't know anything about friending or holding hands and try to guide others by just going a bit ahead. I'm still bad at all the friend stuff in sky.
When i started i didn't have a pro to guide me. So learnt everything myself and from RU-vid. Recently i came across a moth being battered by krill in the wastelands so i adopted them😊
as a moth i rarely honk and get nervous if someone was constantly honking around me and was too shy to offer a candle to anyone and never want to lead neither wanted to make frineds with ikemens or veteran cause i thought they were mean
When I was a moth I used to think that every Grey person is just some kinda bot that turns into my clone whenever I light them...thats because everyone I lit up looked the same and did the same as me (I realized when I lit up someone in prairie that circled someone else in agony in the social space)
I remember getting lost in the 2nd zone of Hidden Forest as a moth, it was like a giant labyrinth then I realized the exit was literally just straight ahead of thr starting point
I kidnapped a moth and brought them to Sanctuary Islands (moths like that place) until I had to go, logged off and just left them there. 10 min later I realized that a moth probably don't know how to get out there so I logged in to check on them and what do you know? They had helplessly tried to use the geyser to get out and when I asked if they wanted me to show them the way they went" PLEASE!!!" I felt so bad 😅 They appreciated the help though
Im a moth myself- Well not clearly a moth, since i know everywhere a little- Usually i let veterans guide me everywhere, its kinda fun tho :D I rarely light up candles but usually the veterans light me up first- when im gonna go offline and add them, theyre lowkey scared of me wasting my candles so they add me instead- :') Ngl i wish i have more veteran friends bc theyre cool :')
I feel that the insist in leading and they will kindap you and take you everywhere, it's kinda fun sometimes trying to figure out where the moth will take you XD

I once play this 12 hours. A day. I was staring over my acc, speedrunning isle to valley, collecting every wax i know where. Then few hours later my friends joins me as moths and i drag them to every spirit and waxes i know, re-speedrunning isle - valley, teleport many many times bcz we get seperated so often, collecting wax on da way who to my suprise, has been refreshed. I got 60 candles💀💀💀💀
