I was recently told by my eye doctor that there are two types of hazel eyes: the Irish hazel have green irises with an amber ring around the pupil. The Spanish hazel have amber irises with a green ring next to the pupil. Apparently, other eye color combinations offer clues to ancestry, though these markers are decreasing in accuracy due to parents having more diverse backgrounds than in previous generations

What? A makeup challenge from Frederique? YES PLEASE. I have green eyes with a faint gold ring around the pupil. Depending on the light or my mood, the green looks more grey. Hello Frederique! 🎉 How are you? We both are Capricorns and we both have hazel eyes, what a quinsidense! 😊 I have cold pinkish undertone of my skin. I never tan, just burn my skin. So I stopped with that and learned how to appreciate my natural white porcelain like skin color. I don't do any bronzers, they look way too orange on me. My favorite eye shadow always was dusty purple and dusty pink. That suits me the best. Cold grey also works. I like grey or dark blue liner. I tried purple mascara once, I felt like a fairy or water nymph. It really looks enchanting on me. 🧚‍♀️ 👸 Indeed my eyes also change color! In autumn/winter period it's more chocolate brown and in spring/summer it's more green. I think it has something to do with the light.

I’ve got blue eyes 👀 After watching your video, I’m going to put on a rust color shade and go out to brunch! Yes, I’ve bought a couple of things from your Amazon shop before. 1 item was a hit and I wear it to death, and another was a leopard 🐆 top which was a big miss . It looks really cheap.

Not to take anything away from your eyes, but a blue or gray looking ring around the outside of the iris, which is the colored part of the eye, could indicate high cholesterol levels. Just an FYI. 😊

Don't scream, Frederique, part#1 : I have blue eyes, black lashes and brows, and reddish brown hair and olive skin. Crazy-making! That said, I feel that my eyes look best with dark brown liner and a touch of dark turquoise crayon inside my upper lash line, and a matt medium brown in the crease, with beige highlighter under the brow. I also in summer look completely different with a tan (I get quite dark when I let myself) and I go for all the sunset colors; coppers and earthy bronzes. The screaming part #2 : dark plum shadow gets a lot of compliments. Always black mascara. I love to break some rules sometimes LOL TY Frederique!

My blue eyes are very blue, when wearing blues, but turn teal or jade like when wearing these blue-green colours. If I need to wear unflattering to my complexion colours as in a uniform, they are more a greyish tone. (My fair complexion is best in soft muted, mid-tone, cool colours. The colour season “summer” is right on for me. ) Navy in my wardrobe works as my black and with my eye colour. Black sucks on me. My best flattering mascara is a brown - black. Even though we are totally contrasting in our colouring, I really get a lot of good information from your videos! I like your attitude about sustainability, eco responsibility and capsule wardrobes.

Very nice and interesting video 👍🏻💐🌻 thank you. I have Green eyes with a grey ring on the outer Part of theand a geoldenbrown sparkel around the black middle. Depending on light and mood, they appear grey or rather green 😀. I discovered an Eyeliner with a soft texture in a Colour aubergine which I like, sometimes I put little dots of another called plum into the line and Blend it together. This makes my eyes appear really Green. Greetings from the little village of Klevendeich in Northern Germany. Do you have any additional ideas for my eyes? Would be happy to hear it!

My eyes are blue but my skin and hair are cool toned. When I wear orange, peach, my eyes pop, but I look ill. What looks great and consistent on a photoshopped picture might not look great IRL. I find taupes and pinks make them pop as well as the colors you mention, but look more harmonious with the rest of my features.

I have very green hazel eyes with amber( like an army green around a golden circle with a blush outer rim. I’ve been told they were called Irish hazel or gold green. And YES, they change to pure amber with mood and weather. Very noticeable.

Love, the correct spelling and meaning of "empathize" means to feel the emotions people are going through."Emphasize' in the way you're using it means to focus on or draw attention to. You want people to focus on your eyes. Certain colors will "bring out the color" of your eyes, and certain colors will emphasize your eye color. 🙂 My eyes were brown as a child, and then in my forties, they turned hazel. I love your tip on using eyeliner inside the rim of the upper eye lids.Merci!

Me too, I have green almost turquoise yes. She said that our eyes automatically stand out, but here in Sweden (as like in your Finland) it's nothing special. Most of the native population has blue or green eyes (I'm half French and my late French dad had yellow eyes, my mom has deep moss green ones, my sister got brown/hazel eyes and my brother blue) and we are so many that not even our (big big ammount of) immigrants with brown/black eyes can make our eyes rare😫 I feel like a nobody here. Everybody is pretty too, both men and women so no matter how pretty you are, there's always another one around the corner who's more pretty... but the SECOND we go abroad people stare amazed by our looks...

My mother, brother and I were all born with dark brown and as we age, they lose pigment. At 60, my eyes are now amber. When my mother passed at 84, her eyes were nearly yellow, the palest amber shade. Odd but strangely true.

I have hazel eyes and so does my husband and both of our eyes do appear to change colour although I have not thought to try and track if it’s the weather or mood etc, I will try and start doing that now. I like that you said your eyes are like mood rings. I think I’m going to use that myself even though I don’t really know if it’s because of moods? 😊 Also I watched a video about Hazel eyes and they are the second most rare colour after green eyes. Only 5% of the world’s population have Hazel eyes. Just a side note, The original reason I watched that video is because our daughter has blue eyes, but that particular video was not in depth enough to cover the science behind how much blue gene is in the Hazel eye gene for two Hazel eyes to make a Blue eyed baby? A research project for another day 😂

Don't know, but my eyes are grey-blue with a subtle olive green ring around the pupil, and I know that dark brown suits me, but not as much as dark grey, dark blue and dark purple. With those colours I noticed that my eyes seems lighter and become very bright. But I also looked at a lot of photos of blue and grey eyes with make-up and I noticed that nothing makes those eyes pop up to me like a blue or a dark grey smokey. So I really can't understand why all manuals and MUA keep saying that brown or orange golden is the way to go for blue eyes.

I have hazel brown eyes and everybody wants purple eyeshadow on these eyes but it does nothing for my eyes. If I wear blues, greens, grey or warm browns it brings them out, especially blues and greens but purples not at all.

I love you Fréderique. We need more confident women educating the rest on how to be the best u can be, truthfully and helping each other. I make do with what I can. No scar removal clinic treatments are possible for me so I must try things on my own working with some very old cystic acne scars in cheeks. They are less aparent now but I needed laser fraxel to rebuild the tissue pitting. At home, I can only derma roll or try ti find a peel solution to rebuild pitted areas. You have gorgeous eyes btw. I have brown eyes which are now hooded. I can only camouflage with makeup but I wish I could lift the eyebrow area. I look best with neutrals, greens, and purples. Gold and peaches as well with my brown eyes. My favorite eyeliner was KVD Tattoo which is discontinued. I have not found a dupe for it yet. Any suggestions? Black liner suits me best.

@@ms.frederique dermabrasion did not work, it damaged me even more. I only could do 4 treatments for the laser. They promised results but lied. But you need 10-12 treatments for complete results and 2 years for final results. I didn’t have the means for the treatments needed so I was disappointed. For what it is 5-10 mins, they charge so much its not realistic. If there was a solution at home, I am very patient. I think they have means to fix it now, but you need very deep pockets. Fat injections? Threads? fraxel of course.

Try green liner and shadows. Also bronze shadows. Dark brown liners. Highlighter in corner of eyes.

Gray eyes > They look navy blue in full Summer because of a ring around the Iris that darkens in Summer. In full Winter, not much Sun, flat out gray, can barely see the ring. It would seem I should follow the rules for blue. Gray is not a warm color - more of a neutral really.

It’s a shame “they” don’t always cooperate with your site. I have brown eyes. Unfortunately they are hooded more as I get older. I love browns and plums…but going to try and branch out. I love when you call yourself Freddie. My neighbor has eleven cats and three dogs. When she got her last dog, it was a German Shepherd pup and Freddie the cat decided that’s it I am moving across the road..😂😂😂 We have one big beautiful spoiled rotten cat, and he is not happy, but Freddie won’t move. He is beautiful….like you😊. Btw , I wish I could wear my hair short like yours. I lost twenty two pounds , and now a medium, sometimes large in good clothes, but the last time my husband ( both of us hairstylists) cut my hair , no one liked it. It was a great cut, but short doesn’t suit me, but boy there are days I feel like it would feel sooo good. Thanks for the make up tips ❤❤❤❤

My eyes are honey ,silver and gray are the bests, cream white grey-black, grey-blue, red, maroon,redpink, fucsia, pink, some darknbrown , golden dont see it. No yellow orange no green no dark blue no coral no violet or purple .
