hey wilson man. im an old school cs player, started when i was 9 on CZ in 03, played on and off cs since. however i've taken a 7 year hiatus (2016 to 2023, am now about to be 29) and started back last month. climbed from silver 3 to gold nova master in a month. id love to join the discord and id love to give you a full demo to review if you feel like doing that. love your content btw. i got my first knife off skinsmonkey and was sure to use your code.

Pro tip: hold every angle for a couple of seconds longer. Wait a couple of seconds longer before pulling a grenade. Wait a couple of seconds after fragging an enemy and wait for another to peek the same angle. Seriously try this next game.
@jakubmamczak6762
@jakubmamczak6762 11 месяцев назад
I can vouch for that lol I kept thinking to myself "dayum this timing" way too many times. I started holding my angles 5 seconds longer and I kill more.

great tip, havent played the game for a while, and realized i had a problem with not holding the angles long enough, consciously applied this and you really start getting multifrags much easier

A few things that have helped me reach lvl 10 are: 1. Focus on yourself while playing, the performance of your teamate dosn't matter because you can't change that, yes it can be very frustrating, but you just shoudn't care. 2. Probably the most important tip is to make every game count, play every game like it matters a lot to you even if it dosen't. For me I play Faceit to try my hardest and be at my best, but then I can hop in a mm game and lose 16-5 and not care that much. 3. This one is the harest; while making every game count do not take it to heart, what i mean by this is, even if you lost a game and it was becasue you were playing very bad, you just simply shouldn't care. 4. Simply as he said in the video, dont be toxic and try to be positive 5. This goes with 4th tip, just kind of dont give up on a game, even if you are losing 10-5, for me that means that the great comeback is comming. You won't belive how many games I have won because I just didn't give up. And I also made in some of them my team not give up as well, really in everything you do there is going to be like a mental aspect to it, so like my tips are just like try to stay focused on the game, dont lose your mental in any circumstance because if you do you will probably lose.
@z0xy266
@z0xy266 11 месяцев назад
@@ryanroberts714 it depends on the team in the higher ranks this still happens sometimes but rarly thb, so you cant really sau this BUT if you notice that this is true in your games then ig yes

this comment is some real stuff even though I kinda realized it, but because of recent life struggles, I forgot about those, thank you for reminding ❤ and my advice (a professional with lvl 4 xd): be kind in every game, be kind to ur mates, to enemies, and, most importantly, to yourself. don't lose humanity because of a videogame!
@Steevvee
@Steevvee 11 месяцев назад
one massive thing that's helped me is putting your ego aside and understanding you aren't always the best player in the server, this will help you get frustrated less and you can focus on improving. Also having said that play with confidence at the same time.

idk what elo you are or if you even play faceit, but in my games (+ - 3k elo lvl10) if you play inf you always NEED to equip your B players with 2 smokes and 2 mollys, always, so do not be afraid to ask, on some maps on some positions it's absolutely necessary
@Kreege
@Kreege 11 месяцев назад
IMO "carry with your mindset" is the most important. Being a positive and encouraging voice will do wonders for your team, especially when solo queueing. One thing that goes along with this is to admit your own mistakes, especially if you inadvertently screwed a teammate. A simple acknowledgement like "my bad yellow, I got caught with a nade pulled when they pushed through that smoke on you" or "I should have stayed with you for the trade instead of going to watch the flank" will go a very long way towards alleviating animosity and keeping up everyone's confidence in each other.

I've been struggling recently with my rank, I mostly solo Q and I get random teammates, often against good enemies. However I have good game sense, but I believe my problem is not communicating enough to them and not playing power positions( for example I'm afraid to mess up mid in Mirage). Inconsistency and not training and warming up enough is also a factor. Thanks for the advice, stuff like defensive smokes are definitely gonna help me push up.

communication got me to 20k, mindset i find is a very large factor in getting better to me. really like that point on encouragement, too. sometimes in a game where its quiet, get lit after you or a team mate make a play. it gets people comfortable on the mic. have found many great players to lobby with doing that. neat vid.

If you strafe away from an angle your holding the first shot is accurate as long as you shoot and strafe at the same time. Hold a super small crack angle and put your crosshar where there head is gonna be. Then just strafe away and click at the same time it takes practice but you will get the hang. I think it works as long as your velocity is under 75 your bullets are accurate.

6:20 Learned to never push that smoke. In my games it's 99% the god damn one-way smoke. Also for Warmup: Play some KZ/movement maps. You have to flick around so much that you will be ready in no time (better than starting out with aim trainer imo.) Obviously should still include a round of dm or smth.

A tip that helped me reach 10 was simply consuming videos exactly like this. Take valuable information from the people around you who are willing to share it. Theres a lot to be learned externally outside of your gameplay. Even at higher levels there is ALWAYS more to learn. Videos like this help out the community & allow people to improve in a notoriously difficult game showing why CS is one of the best communities out there.

Maybe he is not level 10 right now, but his advices are very good. If you want to be a decent player try to make this behavior something common in your games, especially the part about keeping good mindset (this is the most important one). From my personal experience, I would add an advice to use nade binds. I got to 3k elo without it, but it's way easier to use nades, when you don't have to cycle through all of them :)

If you lose a game you just check other teams profiles almost every time you will find someone who has multiple account so report them and it will give you tons of elo.

The truth about in game comms is that most players don't want to hear comms. They complain that "they can't hear" when the truth is they are one dimensional players who can't multitask in game and they get frustrated by the added thinking they have to do. These are the same guys who talk shit to you and brag about out fragging you by 2 kills four rounds into the game. Ya, you know who are.

Id actually recommend not thinking about how you sit and setup or keyboard is angled. I agree you'll improve faster but i think it will help you to play those days you are sick, new chair, setup, or if somthing just feels off if you play whatever is given to you. More so to the 0.01% younger players that are going to go pro and play at lans. Playing at a hotel really help me play better and more consistent in the long run. Sucked at first but now it takes me a quick warmup on any setup to play at a decent level.

i've had constipation this morning, you helped me with this video. Faceit is shit dude, in premium almost every game you play against smurfs. In this week, 6 of them were banned, and how many more are there playing against other people. Supports dont give a shit about anything, reviewing demos, banning smurfers or cheaters. They also have Discord group, where only admins talk and share memes and talk shit about people who complain about their platform. There are of course people who have "luck" and they avoid mainly these things, but usually they are 5 stacks. And dont start with that, "There is no cheaters on faceit", people cheating in FPL xD Only reason faceit still exsist is because Valve devs are idiots who cant make 128 tick server for last 10 years.

Finally! Someone that doesn't tell you to warmup by doing 5000 kills each day in DM (looking at you austin). Yeah guys, warmup real quick, click a few heads and get yourself in the game. The best practice you will get is by actually playing the game and finding yourself in all sorts of competitive situations, good luck!

Let me tell you, folks, the most important thing, believe me, when you're playing, is being comfortable. You've got to feel good, you've got to feel relaxed, okay? It's like a winning mindset. When you're comfortable, you can focus, you can perform at your best. It's tremendous, really tremendous. So, always remember, folks, stay comfortable, stay confident, and you'll conquer any challenge!

never EVER unmute globally muted players. Unless they nicely beg for it in the faceit lobby or through other teammates. If they don't, they definitely deserve it and you should probably throw in an additional verbal abuse report for good measure. It's self-care.

Uh nah, unmute them and give them a chance and then mute them if they are toxic?

I have been grinding soloq for the last month. Started at level 6, now only 31 elo away from level 10. Thank you for the content men). Inb4 your channel blows up. Tips that have helped me get over my hump were practicing pre-fire maps, and learning how and when to play off angles.

Counter-Strike is more than mechanics, imo. Mental can dictate how we play, and having it against us can tank the confidence of aim.
