I have the Green, Blue, and Sterling Grey. I have dark brown eyes. The green blends very well with my eye color. Everyone thinks they are my real eye color. The blue blends very well too. The Sterling Grey freaks me out on my self.
FINALLY. a review with natural lighting and in half in a darker lighting. I've been looking for this, not the ringlighted ones which throws off the real everyday color of the contacts
I am obsessed with those contacts! I own blue, green and gray. I was thinking when i putchased the blue that it would look unnatural but let me tell you, those are my favourites so far! Green is too dark for me and gray too. But all of them are great you just need to find your color. Mine‘s definitely the blue. And they are soo comfortable! I wore them over 8 hours without any problem. Thank you ladies for this great and fun review
the most helpful video i've seen for brown eyes, thank you! i've worn the green color for a number of years now. after trying on some new colors at the optometrist, i ended up opting to try the hazel for the first time. it's so hard to find color contacts for far-sighted folks so i'm glad these are available!
Im wearing these now. I was wearing daily contacts but surprisingly these monthly colored ones are so much more comfortable. I wear them to work daily just soak them in the biotru plus rinse. Mine is gemstone green but id like to try on gray too! Love how comfortable they are had them on for 12-16hr day!
I wore these lenses in Briliant Blue for about six or seven weeks (taking out every night and cleaning thoroughly). They were the most comfortable lenses I have ever worn (and I started with soft lenses in 1971) but I developed astigmatism that is going away now that I haven't worn them for two weeks. I think I should have changed to a new pair after four weeks, even though they were still clean, clear, and comfortable.
I got hazel early last year. But because it's so great & wearable for almost any occasion from lounging at home, entertaining visitors to grand wedding dinners, I'm getting that colour again.
Thank you for the great review!! I think I'm gonna try the pure hazel ones since my eyes are dark brown and it will probably blend better than the rest.
the most natural looking lenses of these would be the pure hazel, gemstone green, sterling gray and the honey, the blues, regular green and gray look either too dark or not natural at all, they should make a regular grayish blue or baby blue lenses that show up on brown eyes because the blue lenses here are an unrealistic dark but too vibrant blue that you can definitely tell they're lenses
I dont know if order green or pure hazel, i always wear green and they look very natural, but im afraid i dont like pure hazel or if they look artificial, my eyes are dark brown, what do u think? Someone haves both and can tell me his opinion?
Thanks for the vid! This contacts look pretty on all three of you girls ^-^ I have eyes like the Honey naturally, lol! But I want either the hazel, green, or gemstone green!
Air Optics do not have the most natural looking pretty colors, on me at least. I wore Fresh Look green (not the color blends) for years and they made my eyes, which are hazel green, look very good. I always got compliments on my eyes, and no one ever asked if they were colored contacts. I only switched to Air Optics because I have drier eyes now, and they are the most breathable and made with newer technology. The gemstone green looks better on me than the regular green, but they're in no way as natural looking and pretty on me as the Fresh Look green. I wish Fresh Look would come out with more breathable contacts. I wanted to try Solotica because they have some pretty colors, but won't now after reading Ophthalmologist reviews stating that they do not allow enough oxygen to get into the eyes, and are not healthy for them.
the girl in black with decorated neckline really has a beautiful face..i really wish she tried on the brilliant blue..i have dark eyes and im thinking of buying air optix. i have had with fresh look colorblends even graded ones, the center hole part of it seems small and and it gets in the way of my view most of the time and they are uncumfy. please please help me decide, is the air optix blue cumfy to wear? is the center hole big enough? and is the color really obvious because i want the blue part to be noticably blue, but i am worried that my natural dark brown eyes would drain the color, so i am thinking of buying the brilliant blue but i am scared that it might be a shock of color it would be very very noticable, the blue on you my dear looks really lovely..thanks for this video.
I've been researching colored contact lenses that can also accommodate my horrible vision prescription and this video is the most informative. I'm definitely getting the Air Optix -- Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to make this! XOXO!!!
Hi:) Great review thank you:) I know that these are monthly disposable. I don't wear contacts daily, only once in a while so I was wondering, are these good for 30 uses? (and not just one month)
They are good for 30 uses. I have 3 different sets of the air optix colors. I only wear them about 3 days a week. I tend to wear my clear ones at work. They have lasted me a long time.
Hi Heidi! =) these contact lens aren't meant to make your eyes look larger but if you do want something to enhance your eyes and make them look larger. I would try out the new Acuvue 1 day define contact lens. The only difference is the Acuvue 1 days are enhancers.
To be honest I think it just depends on your eye color. I know me and my friend wore the same exact grey lens one day and it looked completely different on us both.
Yeah those definitely look like Twilight lens. I prefer the Pure Hazel ones myself. I don't know if you got the free trial yet from the Airoptix wedsite but I would get it so you could try another color. I know at my Optometrist office we give the patients a couple colors to try before they decide to purchase the box. I hope you can try another color and let me know how it works out. =)
Solotica cheap, really? They cost over $70 but do last for a year. I wouldn't wear them everyday for a year though, more like every so often a year. They can make your eyes dry really fast.
***** I'm not sure if you're in the United States, but contact lenses here are expensive, especially the colored ones. I've never seen any yearly lenses here, only monthly, 1-2 week, or daily. A year's supply of Freshlook Colors contact lenses will cost at least $300. If you can get a good discount somewhere, it may be more like $250.
There are websites you can buy soloticas from. They're not sold in the UK either, I get them online from an online store that gets them from Brazil where they are produced. Soloticas look more natural but wearing the same set of contacts for a year sounds dangerous for me. I've never worn them everyday for a year. Your best bet is buying a year supply of Freshlooks but they look less natural, I used to wear them too. If you have light brown eyes or hazel, get lenses that tint your eyes another color. They look super natural and lighten them too without look like stickers. *****
Also offically lenses cannot be advised to be worn for more than a month. Yearly contacts do not exist, some none North Americsn/European brands claim to have created contacts that can be worn for a year. They might be durable but they is nothing to suggest that they are safe. Germs can build up on them in that time. I've owned two different solotica lenses one set in 2012-2013 another from 2015 to now. I've kept them clean but only wear them now and then. Like once or twice a week or for days out....
