Great job doing a review! I loved that it was straight to the point and not the "typical" RU-vid reviews that begin with long stories, side stories, followed up by " I am sorry I am sick, but wanted to get this video made", etc. You should seriously make a video showing other RU-vidrs how it's done! and lastly, you have gorgeous eyes and all the colors worked on you.
You're welcome! I was equally as excited about their prices and how natural and comfortable these lenses are! After signing up with the site, they also offer various promos!
just wanna say thank you - your video is still useful 6 years on! Appreciate the time and effort you put in to showing us in different types of light and also your opinion, huge thanks :)
Thanks for sharing this useful video. I just purchased a green lens yesterday but I really don’t have any idea how it’ll look on my eyes, soooo now you definitely convinced me, girl! 💚 I can’t wait till my lens are coming next week! 😁🙈🙈🙈🙈
I used to work as a Optician in the Optical field for over 20+ Years so I have some knowledge on CLS. I don't know everything but I sure know a lot and I been wearing these AirOptix by the C.O. Ciba for over 15 years and I LOVE THEM and here's why. Ok they last 2 weeks and you can actually sleep in them however it's never recommended to sleep in CLS but I do and I love it. I actually wear these CLS for 2 months at a time instead of 2 weeks yes I kinda abuse them but I clean them and rub them gently as i clean them to remove bugs and and germs. I learned all the tricks! . I wear the color GRAY and OMG they look so good on me and I get so many compliments people think they ar real my color. Since they are Extended wear (EW) and Not Daily Wear (DW) made to wear 2 weeks and made to sleep in they allow oxygen to penetrate to the cornea which makes them feel so darn comfortable you forget your wearing CLS! Go GRAY OR BLUE!
honey... you shouldn't be advocating wearing 2 weekly contact lenses for 2 months, ESPECIALLY as a former optician yourself? and you definitely shouldn't suggest anyone to be sleeping in them! please delete this as it may misinform/mislead some people although I don't believe this was your intention :)
You are a beautiful living doll. I’m sure your optometrist really enjoys giving you an eye exam every time you schedule one because he or she can help you get your new contacts and also, he or she can see you wearing your glasses on every visit.
So Guys Can Wear Contacts Also??? I Want To Buy Some!! i have another question also because it says *Power *Base Curve *Diameter what does all those mean??
I realize that this video is two years old but it was helpful. My eyes are just a hint lighter than yours so I think I would need to use the same color. Thank you for your video.
With these lashes, I have never had an issue with blurriness or difficulty driving at night. Some other contacts do that, but not with these for me. Hope this helps!
great job doing this review! i want to get the air optix BLUE contact color with no prescription, but i have a few questions. Up close, do they look really pixelated and obvious that they are contact lenses? Will the Blue show up vibrantly on brown eyes? How long do they last? Monthly or yearly? And Price? Thank you so much!!!!!!!! Please someone help me answer these questions
Hi! All of these contacts by Air Optix have very distinct lines of color on them. I like the Pure Hazel because they look the most "natural" against my dark eyes, because you can't really see the coloring. The blue is the same way. In a room or low light, you won't be able to see the lines, but in daylight you will definitely be able to see them. I just got these in Gray and will be doing a review video soon.
Jenny Zarate I've been wearing the green regularly for a year now n tried out the hazel a few times n they are def natural looking.. hard to tell even up close. I get soo many compliments! Not to mention, one pair can last more than a wk if u don't sleep in them.
Hi! Loved the colors on your eyes. I wanted to know more about the site you used to buy the contacts. Are they a trusted/reliable online store? Did you have any trouble with your contacts?
+Arshiya Meezan Hi! I've ordered from this company multiple times now and have found it to be very reliable and trust them. I've had no trouble with my contacts, or customer service, or anything. Hope this helps!
Thank you! I purchased a few after watching your video. I absolutely love them! Thank you for posting this video! It really helped me pick a color that fit me best :D
Hi! I unfortunately have to get 2 different prescriptions because my eyes are different powers. :( So for these contacts, a box of 2 contacts is $24.99 and I had to buy 2 boxes, so in total it was $50.00 (pricesmartcontacts.com). I always try to find the best prices online before buying contacts.
Hi I haven't worn Desio lenses before. I was tempted to buy a couple of pairs, but after reading that they are very uncomfortable, tear easily, and/or can't be worn for very long at all, I decided to buy Solotica lenses and these Air Optix ones. I think Desio lenses are beautiful, but I've only seen them in photos and videos. I'm not sure how well they would go over in real life...in person. I really love the Pure Hazel Air Optix lenses for daily wear and a fun, yet subtle change in eye color.
Loved the review! Looking to buy Haze ones . I wear fresh look now but I think these look more realistic. For the 2 ok how long do they last? The ones I currently have last 2 weeks.
Thank you so much for watching! I truly love the Solotica Hidrocor Ocre lenses. The way they're made are so natural looking. But because they're a lot lighter than my natural eye color, I only wear them on rare occasions. I do like the Air Optix Pure Hazel contacts because they are a bit darker, so I feel more comfortable wearing them everyday. But the actual design on the lenses are not that natural looking. Solotica recently came out with some new colors that are a bit darker than Ocre, which I will be trying next. I am in love with the color design of the Hidrocor lenses, so I'm excited to get some new ones in a darker shade. They're both pretty comfortable. I like that the Hidrocor lenses are good for a year, whereas the Air Optix are only good for a month. I hope this helps you!
+BeautyEssence03 Hi! They do feel pretty comfortable, being colored contacts. My eyes tend to be on the drier side, so I have to use rewetting drops or take them out to let my eyes breathe. However, I have worn them for most of the day and can't complain!
@@prettycasual I've actually tried all of the colors in Air Optix and Freshlook! I've had contacts since I was 13 yrs old. Pretty long time, almost 20 yrs
Hi, is it 24.99 per box or lense? Because on my cart I only see the right eye specs and if I add the left it’s an additional 24.99 dollars. I’m confused
If you only have one prescription or need 0.0 power, you only need to buy one box. Regardless of right or left eye. if you have two different prescriptions, then you will need to buy two different boxes one for your right eye and one for your left eye. It should only be $24.99 per box. Hope this helps!
Hi! I don't have preference. Sometimes I'll use Bausch & Lomb and other times, I'll just buy a CVS or Target brand. I've never had issues with any, not are any life changing. Hope this helps!
+Mireyah Maldonado Disregard my last msg! I thought you were asking about Desio lenses, but I believe you were asking about Air Optix. I don't think Air Optix Colors have Toric lenses yet. I do know they offer clear contacts for astigmatism, just not colored ones. Ask your doctor if that's changed!
This website you said to order from is super frustrating when it comes to on-time delivery and tracking updates. I paid for express shipping which should’ve been 2-3 days. It’s now been 8 days, the expected delivery on the tracking is set for yesterday and I still have no idea where my package is.... unfortunate. Anyone else have issues?
Omg you are incredibly absolutely truly gorgeous! I ask myself why am I still single but it’s just because I haven’t met someone like this! But than again I did know someone that looked just like you she was Puerto Rican and her name was jasmine from Huntington Long Island we had a thing and how did I let that her go without telling her how I felt for her is crazy but the situation was alittle complicated but I regret it till this day..My god 🤦🏻♂️ your beautiful god bless you @pretty casual
Lilo Hi! I personally wouldn't sleep in any contact lenses. Eyes need to breathe and contacts make that much harder. I make a bad habit of falling asleep with contacts in while putting my kids down for bed, whether they are clear or color, and I wake up after about 30 mins with extremely dry, red, irritated eyes. Definitely talk to your eye doctor about it before doing it. :)
Lilo Not from what my eye doctor told me. Air Optix makes contacts that are "Extended Wear" that can be worn while awake and asleep, and these are not the same. They are only "Daily Wear" and should be removed and cleaned daily. Ask your eye doctor though to confirm!
Arshi A I'm sorry and understand your frustration. This video was primarily reviewing the colored contacts, and not the website. I didn't know that the website only delivers to the US. From now on, I will try my best to look that up before posting a video, knowing that there are viewers from all over the world. Thank you so much for the feedback.
