Trouble is, their main audience for this kind of game already has Smash Bros. It's like all the Mario Kart dupes that have dropped in the past few years, they bomb, because Mario Kart exists. Same with that daft Splatoon dupe that Sony gave away recently. Copying a game usually ends badly as people stick to the original, just see how many Fortnite clones have come and gone already and the only game similar that did well was Apex Legends, and that chose to do it's own thing. I still maintain Power Stone is better than Smash Bros. Sadly that franchise is long gone. I'll give MV a try though as I do like a lot of the characters, and that alone puts it above Smash Bros for me as I'm not into Nintendo at all. Never have been.

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, which seems kinda weird. Hope it does well!

Just managed to add the PS5 version to my downloads from the PS Store. Seems they might have changed it. Definitely wasn’t available on the 25th. Edit: Seems PS+ Extra Subscribers can get the update but not those who claimed it through PS Collections back in the day.

I tried my disc first and couldn't get it to work, had to DL the digital version to get the upgrade. If course I probably did something wrong lol

@@chololoco8171 thanks, you saved me digging the disc out from wherever I've stashed it to find out. Makes total sense that Sony would allow people that downloaded it for free at one point to upgrade, yet not people that paid for it at launch on disc. Total Sonyism.

PS Plus games get announced on Wednesday. They'll be available to download on 7th May. I've seen a lot of posts that one of the games is Hades. If that's true then + is finally getting its act together as it's an amazing game. 93% on Metacritic. I've played it over and over already, but I'll definitely play it again on PS5. EAFC 24 (aka FIFA) and COD: Vanguard are also heavily rumoured. I very much doubt they'd drop all 3 games in one month though as that'd argubaly be the most popular line up they've ever had. Not a big fan of FIFA or COD myself, but they're MASSIVE sellers so to get both, plus Hades would be a dream for some.
