I just want to say thank you so much for keeping me sane. My mom has recently had a stroke and we used to watch your videos together. I miss that so much! You are easy to follow and make things seem so simple to do. I’m going to keep mom’s dream of quilting alive for as long as I possibly can and with your help along the way watching your wonderful videos I hope I can do just that. Mom and I have made many many beautiful quilts. Mom started as a late comer in life in the quilting world but she made up for lost time. Many of her beautiful quilts are tucked neatly inside pillow cases. She also made hundreds upon hundreds of baby quilts for the local hospital through the Linus project quilting club in her area. Thank you again.

Why do you cut the corners before it is quilted?
@TheSewingRoomChannel
@TheSewingRoomChannel 8 лет назад
Hi Lynda. That's a good question. You can wait to cut the corners after you quilt. On my sewing machine I have a feature that locks and ties the stitching off at the beginning and end of each row of stitching. That's why I cut the corners before I do my quilting stitches so that in the future the thread will not pull out. It is just a preference on my part. I hope this was helpful. Don't hesitate to ask me more questions. Happy sewing.

I like this design; however, I wish You would correctly say "presser foot", not "pressure foot".
