Thank you for this! I just got a new Honda Civic Hatchback, and I'm in love! 💜So, I want it to look clean and sanitized. I don't eat in my car,period! But, living in Texas is so dusty and the pollen is on the next level. You can go to work with a newly washed car and come out to a "yellow" car! Yep,really. So please give us tips on inside and outside. We want more!!!🎉😊

Beg your pardon about vinegar and dawn to remove film from windows. I used 2 different commercial cleaners on the windshield, of my new to me car. Didn’t work, then I used vinegar and Dawn, came sparkly clean. So, I’ll use commercial cleaner now until the film developes again. Also, you should be spraying the vinyl and leather cleaner onto the cloth, rather than spraying on the surfaces.

Boy oh boy did I need this…while my car is always tidy with nothing lying around that doesn’t belong, I am frequently horrified at the amount of dust and debris that shows up in the bright sunlight that’s wedged into all the many nooks and crannies. It feels SO GOOD driving my car after it’s freshly detailed. Like a new car all over again. Thank you Melissa! ♥

I have a little Honda Insight and it is TOUGH getting to tight spaces. I think im going to just use a wrench to remove the front seats. Thank you so much for making another suspiciously well timed motivating video! Also I found you through you audiobook years ago and it brought me to your channel. Love from the US 💕

My girl and I have both a Lexus RX and a Nissan Rogue as well. What are the odds..lol Here’s a additional tip too: I use a Meguiar’s quick detailers spray wax on a microfiber to buff out the interior head unit and pretty much everything that is shiny plastic and it makes it super smooth and gets out most minor scratches. And it’s super satisfying 🙂

11:13 W pattern clearly visible :) Dear Melissa, I would like to ask how do you clean the cables and extention cables and sockets in your home? You probably have the video on that but there are so many videos covering the cleaning of every possible little thing that we can have in our homes (including the air haha) and it takes time to watch them all.

Melissa, I picked up the commercial cleaners you recommended in the last car cleaning video. The all purpose cleaner didn’t work on hand prints left by sun screen. Any solution for that? 😢

Hi Melissa, I have a lexus with the same kind of interiors as yours. How do you get rid of sunscreen or makeup stain on door interiors? No success so far... 😕

Very tough question.....sunscreen is very hard to diagnose due to variety of ingredients and how each oxidizes over time. Best advise test a small spot with the cleaner (again) and use a toothbrush to try to agitate and then wipe down. Hope that helps! Thanks for the question! Melissa

My worst Uber experience: I was already stressed because I had just wrecked my car in an ice storm. The driver is weird but I’m trying to be nice. He says what are your ten favorite Christmas movies? I want to not talk but I decide to be nice. I say ok number one, Home Alone. He scoffs and I say what? He says “people always say that. Be original. It’s not even a Christmas movie, it just takes place at Christmas.” I’m in disbelief so I offer him a bigger tip if we can just not talk 😂😂😂

My biggest car cleaning issue is dog hair on the fabric seats and floor carpeting. I have yet to be fully successful at removing it all.

Try a rubber brush (like Norwex has) or a version from Amazon. The static electricity attracts and collects hair, crumbs and dust just like microfibre does when it’s charged up. Try the brush after vacuuming and you still pick up stuff. 😬 I know there are some Norwex RU-vid videos showing the process. Any brand rubber brush should work. People with pet hair issues also use the brush on indoor furniture, rugs/entryway rugs, etc. besides the interior rugs in vehicles.

We were visiting Portugal on a work trip. We took our daughter with us as an 18th birthday present. My husband went to his meetings, leaving my daughter and I with a free day. We walked to the local shopping center in Gaia but we decided to get an Uber back to the hotel. Thankfully, all worked out well, even tho he didn't speak a word of English and I only knew a handful of Portugese. Between the Uber App and Google Translate, we made it back to the hotel. At least I could tell him thankyou but it sure felt very awkward.

Are you sure he was Portuguese? Learning English has been mandatory since the 80s from age 10. Now kids start at 8 and 9 learning English and in fact Portugal is after Holland where English is best spoken by non native speakers. Not to mention Portuguese all finish their mandatory schooling being able to communicate in at least 2 foreign languages, normally English and French.

Buying a new vehicle was the solution to decluttering the old one vehicle. Have almost nothing in the new vehicle since I now care.

I only had a bad Uber experience once with a huge black dude picking me up in a different car and I got in it out of politeness (and major stupidity), he did drop me off at the right place and then cancel the trip so I never even paid for it! I was extra nice and maybe he regretted chopping me up or something; no idea… other than that I took many Ubers in NJ, USA and people were fascinating, Egyptian man, Turkish, Romanian, Dominican. Americans were not so nice and not so talkative. I could right a book on my Uber rides! Overall a great experience!
