The fact that CrossCode runs at all on any console is basically a miracle. The came was originally developed for PC only and was coded in HTML. Due to the security measures in place on each console, this makes a straight port impossible.

You know whats even more of a miracle ? The fact the other mmo based game .hack last recode even came to switch ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZUS0lXNBmto.html Considering this is a game with 4 entries remastered with new details and effects , and offers side spoofs , and extra information in audio narratives to catch people up to speed during, the ,hack link series . Meanwhile, .hack is funded and supported by the merch cyber connect 2 sells on the international store. Even, tho cc2 games like fuga melodies of steel and .hack go under the radar. CC2 has donated money from those games to charities. Even, when the games didnt recoup the production cost . Now if that isnt a miracle the games and the staff isnt a miracle. Than, I dont know what is .
@ been meaning to pick both of those up for switch myself, just need to have some spare money.

CrossCode is the best game that I just haven't sat down to play consistently. Every time I do play it, I love it buuuuuut I just never commit and get preoccupied with other stuff.
@@extraful1 I have played the entire thing and the dlc. Please play the whole thing, this game has one of the best stories I have ever had the pleasure to be a part in.
Finish it dude, it's my favourite game story of all time and the final bosses and dungeons (especially in the DLC) are beyond amazing. Ballcrushingly hard, but amazing all the same.
Friendly reminder (as someone who has over 400 hours on it on PC, been playing since 2016 back when I begged my mother to let me buy it after playing the demo on GameJolt) It is much better on PC, not for performance issues but because it’s much easier to accurately aim when on keyboard and mouse, meaning there are tons of ways to cheese certain areas thanks to the precise aiming, though whichever version you pick it’s still an amazing game, highly recommended you pay attention to this developer as they are already working on there next game (as they have finished all updates for this game including free content and one paid dlc)
Something I really loved about CrossCode is its setting. The whole game takes place within a VR MMO and the random people you run into feel like actual people playing the game. Each of the main characters has their own distinct personality quirks of course, but this even extends to a lot of the random side characters. My favorite example of this is Table Girl. She likes sitting on tables instead of chairs because she thinks it's funny. You see her and her friend periodically as you go through the story arguing about it and eventually Table Girl gets other people to start doing it too. It really does feel like someone basically started a meme. So much went into the world building of CrossCode and it shows. The game you're playing as Lea feels like it could be an actual game and there's a lot of meta stuff to it. On top of their personalities, the characters in your party feel like real people. Each one has a distinct movement and attack style that are all subtly different from each other that matches their personalities. Emilie is very energetic and loves to dive straight into fights, which often rewards her with a death. Joern is a pretty laid back guy and doesn't typically move around too quickly in combat. This isn't even touching their random background dialogue quirks, like C'Tron pointing out biological inaccuracies with the monsters, Apollo flexing his obscure knowledge of CrossWorlds, or Emilie's love of LASER BRIDGE!!! I also seriously love the puzzles (even in my peanut brain had to spend a few days on some of them). They're REALLY good at teaching you how to use new mechanics without overtly teaching you. Absolutely phenomenal and I might have to go through it again now. PS: Soundtrack and the style in general is absolutely amazing. Man I love this game.
one of the very few problems i have with crosscode is that more in the end side of the game, not only there's less laser bridges, but at some point emilie stops saying LASER BRIDGE! every time i go trough them, and i just miss it man, i always smiled when i saw that i assume it's because she said the line so many times that there's a hard cap of how much she can say it and don't annoy people?, but i don't get it honestly
It makes me very happy to find other people who love this game. It came out of nowhere for me, but it’s possibly top 3 favorite games of all time for me.
CrossCode is one of my all-time favorite games. Some of the most compelling storytelling, worldbuilding, exploration, and characterization I've seen in any game, and it's HUGE. I definitely will buy Toree 3D and its sequel and check out a few others of these!
Yes! Toree 3D and its sequel are amazingly cute 3d platformers that I come back to very often! Trying to speed through them is incredibly fun and for only 99 cents why wouldn't you buy them? After watching this video I definitely need to check out CrossCode though.....it looks so amazing
Crosscode has been one of my favorite game ever since it came out and I am so glad Lea, Emilie, C'tron, and all of the rest of the cast are getting the attention they deserve.
CrossCode is one of the greatest games I've ever played, and I say this as someone who has been gaming for 30 years. Adding to what was said in the video, the game also manages to milk every mechanic in order to test you in every way possible. Side quests go even bigger. Tower defense, puzzles, narrative-driven mini bosses, beer-brewing minigames, top-down platforming, the list goes on. And the skill. It's not only a matter of learning the buttons and when to press them. It's also learning when to change your fighting style between the various elements or melee/ranged. There's even a boss that features timed dexterity puzzles as a part of the fight. I couldn't believe that the game was still introducing new ideas all the way up to a certain beach boss. CrossCode is not just a game, it is an experience. I damn near clapped when the story was over.
I was completely infuriated that A: I only learned of this game because of the fan made FNF crossover, B: Nintendo had several excuses to show this fame off in the news feed recently (Great soundtracks and Rhythm games) and did not do so, and C: The company who makes it often takes down soundtrack uploads on RU-vid, which is easily the game's best advertising, and failed to mount any sort of relevant advertising campaign for this game out of Japan. Absolutely disgusting.
CrossCode is probably one of my favorite games. I've beat it 2-3 times on Steam and honestly would have no problem buying it on other systems. I suggest it to all my friends that are looking for a new RPG.
I'm intrigued, but some of the footage looks like a huge mess of numbers that might make it hard to tell what enemies are up to. Is there anyway to tone down effects in that game?
@@VonFirflirch There's a box you can tick in the interface options to literally turn off the damage numbers. A lot of the interface stuff can be enabled or disabled.
I am the same. My first look was during its beta and I thought it wasn't my kind of game. Fast forward to its official release when I tried the demo and I loved it straight away. Cue a limited physical release and I'm buying a copy for the Switch. Then the DLC comes out and it's a masterpiece as it manages to build upon and BEYOND the main game in all aspects. I now recommend it to all my friends.

If you like that mmo you should really check out .hack ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZUS0lXNBmto.html It took over 10 years . An for the mmo fans it was well worth seeing Haseo's story come to a close. With the og voice actors coming back. With some extra goodies. Heck Fuga : Melodies of steel. Which is a fan supported game . Is a continuation of the ds game Solatorobo. Which , finally is coming back. I highly recommend you check out these rpgs if you can .
I’ve been on the fence about it for years… and AntDude gave me the push I needed! So far it’s REALLY overwhelming and hard, but I’ll persevere and hope to see some cool things. (After I finish Kirby Forgotten Land, that game NEEDS my attention lol)
I really thought the next video would be about Kirby, but this means he’s putting a lot of time and effort into the Forgotten Land video. I know he’s the Kirby guy on RU-vid so he’s probably tired of hearing comments like this, and it’s not really fair to constantly expect Kirby videos, but if he makes one, it’s going to amazing considering how flawless and critically acclaimed the new game is
I remember playing Toree 3D when it first dropped cause I randomly found it on the EShop, and it’s a genuinely really great game that’s somehow become one of my personal favorite indies.
@@thegunnshow1907 Same. The first one is still good but the second one has better level design, better (or at least more fast) gameplay, and an original (and amazing) OST unlike the first one which had music bought from a website. I hope Toree 3 (if it ever comes out) is even better!
Adding to the list: I HIGHLY recommend Songs for a Hero. It's a platformer where the MC literally sings the entire game, and he just sings whats happening and its so good.
Super glad more people are getting to Crosscode! I played that last year and was shocked so few people made noise about it. It's such a fantastic charming game.
I'm so happy that someone has finally acknowledged Cross Code. I remember playing this as a small demo on a random game website about 14 years ago. When it became a full game I couldn't wait to buy it.
Fun Fact about Toree: Toree was made as a part of the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc. For those who don't know what that is, it's a game jam where people make games in the style of PS1 games. This is the same project that gave us Bloodborne PSX!
I... have been watching their EEK3 presentations from their past, and a few of their haunty-cast videos. They are a great community project for PS1 styled horror games!
I love cross code, it looks fun, the demo was fun and it's a game where skill makes a difference, every boss I fought was fun for me despite being under leveled and geared
CrossCode deserves far more love and attention than it gets. The fact that it can accurately be described as a hidden gem pains me so much. The quality is too good to go unnoticed. Also looking forward to their psuedo-sequel.
A quick story on CrossCode. So the game finally released and came out of early access on PC and the developers said console ports would come eventually. However, everyone and their grandmother who has heard of this game wanted a switch port (the game is amazing, who wouldn't buy it twice?). The devs eventually answered this plea basically saying that although Xbox and PlayStation ports were definitely happening, a Switch port was unlikely due to how the game was coded. Porting the game over to switch wouldn't work, the game would have to be re-made from scratch for the most part. So the developers said it would happen when hedgehags (featured at around 17:45) learned to fly. So of course, when the trailer for the switch port came out, a special scene showed robotic flying hedgehags. For a while there was a sidequest exclusive to the Switch version that had you fight these flying hedgehags, although eventually all versions of the game got all the special platform exclusive quests. Also, CrossCode is an amazing game.
I'm a very simple man. I see Antdude I click on the video. The man has pulled me through a bunch of crazy times with his videos. And I hope he's done the same for the rest of you at one point or another. Thank you again Antdude, looking forward to the inevitable Kirby and the Forgotten Land review😄
Antdude was the first Let’s Player i ever watched. I remember i was playing through Paper Mario 64 for the first time on Wii VC and i looked up how to beat a part i was stuck on. Antdude (Sonikdude still at the time) was one of the first video suggestions. After watching that video i went back and watched some of his other content and let’s plays he had posted at the time. If it wasn’t for Anthony i would have never gotten into gaming content or let’s players on RU-vid. So if you see this comment, thank you for all the great memories and i look forward to the future of your channel!
You accidentally pasted in the other RU-vid weblink that you copied before you pasted into the comment section. I know because i have done before in the past. There is an app, at least for Android, that allows you to overall your screen to save all your copied text with granting permission. Even though I have it installed on my phone, I have not been using as much as I should have been. You can also copy and paste the web links into another notepad app to paste into for later usuage. There is even one that is owned by Google to look out for as well that is trusted by other people as well. It is absolutely public for anyone to view online if anyone has your email username and assumed current password, so be careful of what you are writing, and syncing on there. It has been around since prior to 2020 as well.
Crosscode is one of those games that no one seems to know but once you mention it everyone that has seen it appears to say that it is one of the best games ever. And I'm here to also say that it is pretty good.
CrossCode! 😍 CrossCode is my absolute favorite game. What an absolute masterpiece of a game. The setting, the art style, the story, the soundtrack, the clever ways you're taught how to play better, the varied combat options, the puzzles - simply amazing. I'm glad to see CrossCode get some love!
CrossCode is by far my favourite game of all time, I'm happy to see you mention it here! I seriously wanna see this game become more popular, but I must say that the PC version is probably the more definitive version over the Switch version. For example, you can throw projectiles by aiming with your mouse rather than with a controller, which just feels better overall. Can't wait for the devs to release their next game, currently only known as "Project Terra". I just KNOW it's going to be good!
Well, you could always buy a mouse and keyboard converter for switch just like you could buy a controller for a pc. I'd say any version other than switch version (because it has ocasional crashes and lag but the devs have made that very rare anyway) is equally definitive.
The devs explained that they expected small crashes to happen in the Nintendo Switch version, and they also explained to try to be as prepared as possible and to be in the right spot when and if possible as well. It has something to do the way that the game handles the console codes differently than the PC build of the game or something like that. I was honestly thinking about saving the web link to look at it later, but I thought I was the only one who could have been interested in the subject matter at the time.
Maybe they conducted another interview similar to how the interview where I am getting my information from. Nintendo only releases games that they talk about through any method that the public is aware of, including specific website interviews that at least a small majority of the public is able to find. I guess video game bookmarks, and video games magazine ads also count as well. Nintendo gave a Big Brain Academy Wii Degree bookmark to the September 2007 Disney Adventures mini magazine, so I guess they scope out every possible option to use to place a bookmark into. Nintendo may or may not have said an official statement regarding where they choose to place their video games ads to spread public awareness. I would likely think that people reading this comment thought that Nintendo did not make one for the Nintendo Wii at all.
Crosscode is definitely one of my top favorite games. I have played it like 5 or 6 times and still haven't got tired of the game. I really loved the combat and really felt satisfying defeating enemies with the cool abilities. I also really love the world exploration, and since the game takes place in a MMO, there are a lot of references and cool details that reminds you of what an MMO is usually like. I really hope a lot of people play Crosscode, is soooooo good.
Mad Rat Dead was my soundtrack of 2020 and as someone who doesn't go for looking up soundtracks that often, I find myself returning to it every few weeks and I just absolutely love it.
I can't agree more about CrossCode. the fluid combat, the story had me in tears at every corner and everything... it's one of those indie titles that i'll gladly buy multiple times. (I actually own it on steam, PS4 and Switch as a physical copy)
CROSSCODE!!! Thank you for bringing attention to this underrated masterpiece! It's seriously my favorite indie game of all time. Randomly found it on the e-shop (The screenshots they have up don't do it justice!) Looked up a youtube vid and once I saw the gameplay...I knew there was something special here. The graphics, story, characters, combat, puzzles, difficulty sliders to play as comfortably as you want, the unique side quests (My favorite being the goat mission) AND DLC?!! This game has everything. Seriously, if you are even a tiny bit interested in Action RPGs a la Legend of Mana and etc., you won't regret this experience. 10/10, Fourth only to Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade Chronicles DE, and KH2 FM. And if you have similar tastes in games as me, I hope you understand how serious of an accolade that is! Great video once again Ant!
@@k.w.6626 P.S. I got iconoclasts! I'm a few hours in and just defeated Agent White, and just from that boss fight I can see inklings of the darker side of the story that you're talking about! I'm excited for what comes next!
YES, I love CrossCode SO much, ive been playing through it and am so in love, im so so so happy its getting the spotlight it deserves! Lea and Emilie are my children i will kill for them
The reason Toree 3D has a spooky element to it is because the game was part of the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc, a collection of retro indie demos with a constant theme of being spooky and/or sinister.
Legit screamed when i saw toree in the thumbnail, i played the game the moment it came out and fell in love with all of siactro’s games, and it feels great to see it acknowledged by a big content creator
A game that I rarely see talked about and really want to see antdude review is UnderHero. Before you say that's its like undertale, it's not, believe me. It takes the 2d platformer idea of super paper mario and combines it with the thousand year door battle system, and it ended up being really good. For everyone who watches this video, please buy this game, you will not regret it.
Perhaps another great RPG game to get possibly reviewed is The Cruel King and the Great Hero by NIS. It is a turn based combat game that has crystal clear instructions inside of the game for the player to read to fully understand how to play the game. I just started to play it since it just came out, but it looks promising. I found out them wanting to make this specific gaming style a long time ago through a very specific interview that I managed to find, and I have been wanting to play it ever since. This game should be worth every penny that you spend on it, and it should be the only game to spend money on if you are restricted on money income. The company may or may not have said something very similar as well. You will be timed throughout your whole entire adventure thoguh, something that the company described was intentionally placed there to make the player keep track of exactly how long they are playing the game for. You will understand once you start playing the game, you might not want to stop playing. Especially with the ways now to keep power on your device for longer periods of time. It might have been the exact reason that they agreed to put a timer on the game in the first place.
They also mentioned about specifically releasing their games in Japan first before America. Something possibly related to the specific way that the country functions.
The game actually got released in America on March 15th, 2022. The released date of the game was already planned out in advance to, I believe as well. They already knew that the game might not get noticed until a few weeks after the launch due to the strange release date. Even the delivery person who dropped it off was sort of confused as to why he was delivering it. It was also clearly shown for pre-order on the Nintendo Switch Eshop as well. The game also was already noticed by a lot of gamers already prior to it even getting released. There is also a story book version of the game which includes a digital soundtrack of the game, as per the company policy for soundtrack distribution as well as other goodies if it is still available to buy.
@@CiromBreeze and its dlc amplified also really consider downloading mad rat deads free demo its a really fun game with great platforming and AMAZING MUSIC the only real simularity between MRD and CoftN is the heart rythm thing but mad rat dead has alot of character development and the story is about coming to terms with your own mortality also the final boss is so good song included no spoilers but the songs called mad rat DIE and if you consider buying the game DONT READ THE OST’S COMMENTS OR RISK GETTING SPOILED
Another extra gem, Sakuna of Rice and Ruin. I found this game randomly when I went to Game Stop to pick up Kirby, but decided to walk around the shop for reasons still unknown to me and look at some merch in the store. Eventually I walked over to the Switch games and found Sakuna there for $20. Now, I'm almost as big of a fan of the Kirby series as him, but I've somehow found myself playing an action, adventure, platformer, beat 'em up, side scrolling game, a genre I usually don't like that much, far more than I've played Kirby. The art style is great and charming. The dialogue is fun to read, and the voice acting is pretty good in my opinion. If you start having trouble in the game, then you can get new equipment or grow some rice, with your harvest powering you up because your character is the daughter of a warrior god and harvest goddess. The rice farming can be a little daunting at first, but it quickly starts to be become second nature to you as you play. Edit: Also, a cool thing to mention. The physical copy of the game comes with a physical instruction booklet that you can look through and see more of the game's wonderful art.
There was also a collectors edition of the game that I could bought that included the physiczl soundtrack of the game. I also cleanly knew that the game was going to be coming out as well. The items that each character collects in the game is not primarily randomly decided as we have a snapshot captured for proof.
you're missing Chicory: a Colourful Tale. Amazing story, great characters, fun mechanic. May not seem interesting from the steam page, but it's a genuine gem within the depths of the nintendo Eshop
The best game I've played on the switch in a long while is Death's Door. Just a really good Zelda-esque adventure that takes a few design queues from Dark Souls. Highly recommend it. Really fun.
I've played some of these and there as good as Ant says they are, and I would recommend Chicory: A Colorful Tale and Toem, those two games are fantastic.
I played Toree 3D months ago and just recently picked up Toree 2. They are really good bite sized PS1 style adventures. Also note: Toree is meant to have a dark/sinister side as the first game was part of a “Haunted PS1 demo disc” collection on PC.
Crosscode has flooded the comment section and for good reasons. I'd say its one of, if not THE BEST games to play, simply because it hits every spot people care about: music, graphics, lore, challenges. It hits every mark in stride. SO PLAY IT, PLEASE.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE MAD RAT DEAD LOVE I thought I was the only person in the world who played that game. I actually preordered it and got the special edition that came with a digital soundtrack as well as a tape cassette of said soundtrack. I loved it ever since I first heard of it and I’m glad it’s getting some much needed attention.
You lucky bastard. Special edition in EU sold out in 2 days of release. In US nobody bought it or wanted it, export and import tax made the special edition go from 60$ to 240$ to bring it to my country in the EU. They also never restocked the special edition anywhere in the world. So it was first come, first served and now they sell these special editions for 6k dollars on ebay from people who hoarded 60 copies and never wanted the game in the first place. That's why i have this gigantic hole in my chest like Mad Rat.
I started playing Murder by Numbers earlier this week and it's been great. The characters and music are fantastic. Also just wanted to add that my favorite indie game (One Step From Eden) is on the Eshop and is great if you miss the gameplay of MegaMan Battle Network.
YES! Toree 3d and toree 2 are great games and I’m glad to see more people will play them now! by the way: Macbat is one of the bonus characters and has his own game which also includes the devs other game Kiwi 64. Everyone go support Siactro they make great stuff!
Yes! Definitely support the creator because not only are their games cheap but they're also really fun! Toree 2 is honestly one of my favorite 3d platformers...ever. (Plus the music is amazing, especially the original lyric one)
Fun fact: both Radical Rabbit Stew and Murder by Numbers were in this past December's Yogscast Jingle Jam bundle! Fun fact #2: I have so many games I haven't gotten to either yet :(
I got part time ufo on mobile years ago, great game, very happy with it, and I'm glad that it has gotten more attention after being ported to the switch
I absolutely SQUEALED when I heard Mad Rat Dead!! I’m so glad you’re sharing this game, I really hope anyone who decides to check it out has as much fun as I did :D
I'm always glad to hear people talk about stuff like this. MRD, it's gotta be one of my favorite games, Toree is a great "why not" purchase, and Pumpkin Jack is just so stupidly silly in the best way. I love seeing random games talked about because its nice seeing the one I love being acknowledged, and hearing about ones I've never hear of. I'll definitely look into the unknown ones ASAP.
I'm so glad mad rat dead got mentioned here. I've played it on PS4 and I've been trying to get my friends to play cause it's such a fun and charming game, bursting with style with some hard hitting music.
Thank you for this video! Could you maybe continue this series on a regular basis? Maybe every 4 months or so? This is giving me so much new inspiration!
I'm so happy you shouted out Mad Rat Dead. One of the most fabulous soundtracks I have heard in a game, such an under appreciated masterpiece of rhythm gaming
YO SOMEONE MENTIONED MAD RAT DEAD! It's such a good game, and for those on the edge about it, there's a free demo of the first chapter (3 stages and a boss) on the eShop! Also, if you like the music, definitely check out all the composers - they're all well known artists with plenty of works behind them.
CrossCode is amazing. I had a lot of fun with it and the story really surprised me at several different points. Also I've put more hours into it than I have any other indie game, and I've played Hollow Knight.
Boy, am I glad to hear you talk about CrossCode. Such a lovely and amazing game that deserves far more love and attention than it has. It is insanely charming and compelling. Also if you have problems with difficulty, the game has sliders to make the game easier so you can appreciate the world and the story without having too much trouble, should you wish for. Aside of that, one of my favorite games of all time.
A friend of mine told me about Mad Rat Dead when only the demo was available at the time....instantly fell in love with it. After I finished it, it became one of my all-time favourites for many reasons. Such a fantastic title, I can't praise it enough.
I'm super excited for when you make a video on forgotten land. Please tell me it's coming soon. Don't get me wrong, you can take as much time as you need. I just want to know if it's happening soon.
of course it is, it's antdude! do you think he is not talking about the pink puffball new game? but if you do wanna see him himself saying it, check his twitter, he has said there it's coming in April, he just had this vid almost ready but not the kirbu one
Pumpkin Jack was SUCH a good game! Literally nobody ever talks about that one. Wouldn't really call Toree and CrossCode obscure nowadays though personally.
To my opinion Crosscode more overlooked than obscure, not much people on RU-vid is covering it aside from the few let's plays, and reviews from a year ago, so I'm glad more and more people find out about Crosscode.
I need to finish CrossCode. Then again every time I would go and play earlier, I would have to let the dev team catch up. Yes this is another Steam Early Access hit on Switch, why do you ask? Also the main mechanic is that combat acts like a twin stick. It doesn't go bullet hell unless you want to.
The game has been completely finished for years dude, even the dlc is out and finished like a year ago (though it took a while to come to consoles but it happened already).
Heard the Murder by Numbers music in the first five seconds and got INSTANTLY HYPED. Also fun fact to add about Murder by Numbers, the character designs were done by Hato Moa - who people might know as the person behind Hatoful Boyfriend, the post-apocalyptic pigeon dating sim! They’re lovely designs, and the game itself has a lovely little story that is surprisingly progressive. Like, one of the cases takes place after a Pride float gets driven into a gay/drag bar, and SCOUT (who I will also die for btw) gets all those concepts explained to him in a simple down-to-earth manner that doesn’t feel forced. It’s all in all just a lovely little game and I wish more people would play it!! 💙
I had the pleasure of meeting Hato Moa and well as Damurushi and she was really cool and lovely. She’s as funny as you would imagine someone writing a post apocalyptic bird dating sim would be. So Moa’s involvement is always a plus
I felt the same when I heard the music in the intro! I only know of the game because an online friend talked about it once and it was randomly on sale once so I decided "why not?" And definitely didn't regret it! I was so surprised and happy to see it here!
Yesssss Murder by Number!! I adore that game and I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys Picross at all. The characters and the story is fun, and Picross is so addicting lmao.
I’ll vouch for Mad Rat Dead. It’s an overlooked indie game with a great and unique platforming+Rythm mechanic and a banger soundtrack that I still listen to. I’m surprised it’s gotten so little attention for what it is, and it really deserves more love.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is a game that I barely hear anyone talk about. A really solid remake of the original Red/Blue Rescue Team on GBA/DS respectively with a plethora of quality of life improvements (although some people saw these as downgrades compared to the original). I’d say it’s the best Pokémon remake ever, but the HeartGold/SoulSilver fanboys would kill me, cause Arceus forbid you say any Pokémon game is better than HeartGold/SoulSilver.
I completely agree. As someone who fell out of love with the original, I do love what they did with that remake, adding Shiren's enemy limit breaks, wands... but also leader switching, pushing allies... I actually did everything short of the grindy stuff. I'm really eager to see them remake the sequel, as I much prefer its music. PMD1 only has a few great songs to its name, the rest is short and repetitive.
The Pokémon Company had no choice but to make the game under really strange circumstances. I am absolutely telling you the truth here, and I would have not believed it if I did it see it myself in person.
Soooo happy seeing Mad Rat Dead here!!! PLEASE give it a go! It's got incredibly satisfying gameplay and a story that straight up made me cry!!! Something really really special
Can I just say I've grown annoyed with the memey and now cliché saying "the composer/singer/musician did not need to go as hard as they did" it just kinda grates on me now. Great video otherwise.
