I actually like how in this series. It feels like they're genuinely brothers, Instead of Luigi being played as the butt of the joke like he is in the mainline series, Mario treats him like family.
Man, a game like skylanders but with amiibo would be so cool. Imagine Shovel knight, Purana Plant, and god damn Minecraft Steeve all in an one game (that isn't just smash broa).
I dont think a review ever made me wanna rip my hair out the first half of what he said , this game was peak and the end was awesome, not like the end of the first one, if you get good at the mechanics it's just a challenge and you aren't playing a "bad game" just because you think it's hard (talking about eternal night) stopped the video after that since he is just complaining
I think one aspect that is looked over in the trilogy of just how good the sound track is for 1 and 3. Soichi Terada just makes banger after banger in those 2 games (also available on Spotify) I played ape escape 2 last in the trilogy, and his absence for the 2nd game was super noticeable. Imo, 2’s soundtrack is really bland.

I ever find interesting how they translate the narrative to the game mechanics. For example the weapon skill sistem. Zero 1 you start with a Rockman q classic buster(I mean basic shot with our charge), and later recibe the z saber were zero only can perform a single uncharged slash. In Zero 2 and 3 you start with a higher level of skill and plus the return of Zero Ex-skills for all the weapons. In Zero 4, this system is practically gone and contrary to it ciber elf and chips growth in versatily and going losing restrictions mirrorun the event of the game. I give you the idea that it take to Zero from 1 to the end of 3 to recover all his skill with the saber and booster(even if the player can do otherwise)
I got the game on preorder, and then played it like twice. The pacing is absolutely dreadful, it’s way too slow to have replay ability. The visuals are gorgeous though! I really loved the outfits and environments but that doesn’t save it
Paper Mario TTYD is one of the best Mario games ever, one of the best RPGs ever, and simply one of the best video games ever. When this first came out on Gamecube I didnt know anyone else that had it. And I think because of this the Paper Mario series went down, down, down hill afterwards.
Fact: Super Star Ultra is one of only four games in the series that has never been available as a digital download, the other three being Air Ride, Slide, and Dream Collection. Everything else has been available on Virtual Console, NSO, or the shop of its native hardware (as well as Wii games on Wii U).
I hate to be that guy, but the original Super Star is so very overrated. It doesnt feel right to control, and the sprites look kinda ugly. I feel the same way about Super Mario Bros 3. Dare i say it, i think i might like Dream Land 3 better. Ultra, on the other hand. . .
