When my son first brought his, now wife, home to meet us, for the first time, with her 4 year old daughter, it was love at first sight for all of us. That little angel has now graduated college, and I thank God that his plan brought both of them into our lives. I feel your story, in the heart. Thank you! This video is not about me and my Mom's life, but the story is very close to our life. This video had me crying. Mom and I should tell our story on video. She has been asking me to do it for years. Thank you for sharing. I too got pregnant in college, twice. I raised my two alone. It is not easy. I admire you for being a single mom for some years and now telling your story. I was you in 1986. Same situation. There is no love that compares to the love a mother has for her son(s!. I have been blessed with 2. Our youngest will be entering the Police Academy in the fall. My son married a young woman who had a son 10 years ago. At the time they got married the boy was 4 years old. Together they had another son. So now I have two grandsons, one 14 years old and one almost 10 years old. I love both of them very much and am so proud of my son and his ability and choice to be willing to see beyond the fact that my now lovely daughter-in-law already had a child. As you said God had a plan.

What a wonderful story. Our lives have been so similiar. My husband is not the stepfather to my disabled daughter (whom her father didnt want her) my hubby adopted her when she was 9. We brought her home from the institution and the 3 of us have been a real family growing with our friends of Jehovah's Witnesses who accepted us with all their hearts. And we've been married all these years. 47 now!

What a wonderful story! Weston seems like agreat young man. I have a young man now 23 that his mother died with lymphoblastic leukemia while pregnant with him. He weighed only 2 lbs. Everyone told me to put him in Foster care. I have never regreted raising him. Im 72 and we love each other. He's such a great person. I know how it feels to feel alone . Great job mom!❤

My daughter had twins out wedlock.Our church reached out to her in so many aspects,no one ever judged her.She is now married to twins Dad ,they were almost 3 when they got married. They are 14.They are still married and have daughter age 10.God is so good !

This is a beautiful story. I cried when you did. Daniel and Weston were teary eyed as well. Weston is a quiet soft spoken young man who is doing well for himself. I was very much in your situation. 21, pregnant, and he wasn't there. I was terrified, and was afraid I would be outcast. I now have a beautiful 23 year old daughter, and did get back with her dad and have 2 more beautiful babies. God always has a plan. And I was accepted at my church and my family. I know the feeling I was 16 when I had my first it was hard and I loved every minute of it as a single momma! I'm now 49 have a 33 29 and 28 year old sons and a 17 year old daughter but definitely never pictured myself being a single momma to all of them but I have been and wouldn't change it for the world! I'm so inspired by you two so glad you found each other at the right time in your lives! Keep being you and the amazing family that you are!! 🥰

Your story is so simular to mine minus I didn't get married. I have a beautiful daughter now 37 and two amazing grandchildren. 1 boy 1 girl and it was worth every ounce of hardship. Weston has a great smile and seems genuine.I appreciate you sharing this. God bless you! I had two babies in my first marriage then divorced. When I started dating again I got pregnant with twins. Then when I sought to get married to my second(current) husband the preacher told me he would not marry us in his church and told me to give my twin babies up for adoption. I ended up getting married to the twins father outside in a park and we are still married 25 years later. In November 2015 I had a spiritual awakening and have struggled with my life decisions and sin, but I praise God for His forgiveness and mercy.

You have a great family..i have 3 sons i raised on my own, their dad was there for them but he passed away when my boys were very young., they are the greatest men in my life. My oldest was very quiet like Weston and he did not talk much until he had kids of his own so Weston may come around and even have his own channel one day. You should never have to explain your life to anyone but thank you for an insight into how your wonderful family begun. Daniel has and always been a dad to Weston because he may not be his biological parent doesn't make him any less a dad. Great to see Weston! ..Weston, it all boils down to ~You are very special ~. ~ You are surely loved~. ..~ You are blessed~. Two wonderful, God-loving parents, who have supported you all your life. Most accidents I know are blessings beyond comprehension! My story is similar...but we tried nine years for a child, adopted 2 over 4 year time. We had our family..a girl then a boy. Then both of us at age 34, were so surprised when the doctor informed me I was pregnant.... we added to our precious gifts, a baby girl. What a blessing God gave us, three beautiful children. Now as a widow in my senior years this event is still blessing me as they now take care if me. God had a plan and His plans are always the very best! God has a plan for Weston too.

I teared up when you said he was the first person you ever loved, because I don’t think there is a greater love than for our own child. My gran lives in Tyler TX, attending UTTyler after attending Jr College here . She also works in a boutique shop, Gaudy Me…helping the management with ads and business. When I was almost 11 years old, I met the love of my life. When I first saw him, I knew...I even said to myself, "God, why do I have to marry him?" 53 years later I got my answer, my hubby ended up with a form of leukemia & it was a tough 20 years or more. God knew Lon would need me one day, and that I would never walk away from him. We married at 16 & 18 (barely), had our eldest the day before our 1st anniversary. Whether you go to church or not, you need the Lord in your life, I learned that at age 9. Loved this video, bless you all!

DJ, Weston, to a mom they're always a kid. I was 52 years old and to my Mom, I was a kid. That's just the way of a Mom.

Yep, along w rattling off their full given name when they do something wrong or scarey lol. My only problem, which isn't really, is remembering that my oldest ,who is trans and only changed her name 2 yrs ago, hates her dead name. But she has been my oldest brat for almost 42 yrs now, so I just tell her she is a spoiled princess when she upsets me lol.
