I’ve checked all my hormones and everything was good, but they checked my progesterone on the 21-23 of my cycle and it came out low. What can I take to help me get pregnant and/or stay pregnant?
Thank you for your tips. God bless you🙏 My gynecologist wants me on Provera non stop. But on my 3rd month it didn't do anything. I had no cramps, no spotting nothing. But he still told me to keep going. I have been using it for years to get a period but never like this monthly non stop. Maybe I need to detox right. It's so hard to not be stress ... I just want to be a normal women.😥

I was prescribed Provera to induce period. I don’t believe drug is the answer. I used hisbicus, cumin seeds, lemon and ginger mix to induce period and to clean uterus. I studied herbal medicine and understand my dosage. Not recommend for the recipe unless you seeked advice from professionals. I later found out it is because of my MTHFR gene that caused irregular period since i cannot absorb vitamin B and folate well from food. Since I supplemented 5-MTHR and activated B, my period is always regular. Diet does matter to the quality of period.

Can you take Metformin, Progesterone and Clomid all at the same time usually? I have high Testosterone and low Progesterone. My mom had to get on clomid for her fertility issues and progesterone as well. Im currently on Metformin and got a low oral dose of Progesterone. Also, Why do you prefer the vaginal progesterone?

Hi Dr! Just listened to your podcast on male fertility. I understand sperm count & motility can be improved by diet & excersize. However, can antibodies binding on sperm ALSO be improved by diet & exercise alone? My husband had a previous vesectomy reversal & also had an autoimmune disorder & his sperm have antibodies all over them & the heads twitch. Our fertility doctor said they arent normal & best option is IVF. Is there anything else we can do naturally for that specifically? We are in our 30s & tried for 3 years 😥
I am sorry to hear about those struggles. I do believe that this can be improved but the question will be to what degree. Without reviewing everything myself, I can't answer this question. I will also say that based on how to describe the severity of this, I am not sure that IVF will sidestep this issue.
Curious as to what the long term negative side effects you've seen are? Vitex was my best friend for PMS. I have heard it works for menopause symptoms too.
Don't take it if your cycle is regular and you're trying to conceive. I drank fertility tea with Chasteberry in it because I thought it couldn't hurt. Boy, was I wrong! I only drank a couple of cups for 4 days a week before ovulation was supposed to occur and the tea actually prevented it from happening! I immediately stopped drinking the tea and luckily finally ovulated a week later. But man, that scared the sh*t out of me!
Once pregnant, how do you prevent pregnancy loss. My last two ended at 6 weeks, no heartbeat present. I seem to not be able to get past the 6 weeks mark.
Same thing with me. I got to 7 weeks and then 8 weeks. What I just learned is that you need to let your OBGYN know so they can prescribe progesterone for you to take, as soon as you find out you're pregnant.
I was pregnant 3 times in 2023 and lost all three. First at 8 weeks, second at 4 weeks, and 3 at 13 weeks but the baby had died at 8 weeks. I was taking progesterone injections from 8 to 13 weeks and that was keeping things going, once i stopped I lost the baby :(
Did they tell you why this happened? As this happened to me as well at 3 months and when they checked, baby suffocated as small blood clots gathered in the cord. (I’m convinced side effects of taking birth control pills) then 3 months later I was pregnant again and I had to give myself shots of blood thinner for the entire time I was pregnant. Have a healthy 15 yo now. Drs tell you this happens but they don’t really find out as it’s expensive (fortunately I had a great insurance) make them check why. Good luck!

Dr Marc, would it be too much to ask for more information about Catamenial Epilepsy. I started at age 17 and was even induced into a coma stage to be able to find what was wrong in my brain unfortunately it didn’t help at all and now I am about to turn 46 and still go once a month through my seizures either when estrogen rises during ovulation or and when progesterone drops while on my period or a couple of days before my period. I have been taking fertiliaid which has vitex in it, and recommended by my fertility specialist. This has helped with my painful periods and I'd like to continue as long as I can. However I noticed you said there were complications long term with vitex.What would those be? My fertility specialist said I could take long term but now I wonder if I should. Thank you.
I know I have luteal phase defect because I start period after 10-11DPO sometimes sooner 2-3 days before period. I called my OB today to let them know I have a positive pregnancy test at 11 DPO, but my estrogen has been dropping and to see if they could give me Pro estrogen but they said they will not check oxygen or give me Pro estrogen until after five weeks when they check where the sac is. Do you think I should be taking progesterone now and try to find somebody that will see me today? I feel like my period is going to start and I’m gonna lose it over the weekend. It was my first cycle on clomid
Rebecca, I would try to see a doctor to check your levels and prescribe from there if needed. In order to know if progesterone is a good addition for you, I need to be supporting you and review all your labs to help. Hoping for the best for you!
I would like a video on increasing estrogen. I see all sorts of videos about estrogen dominance but my levels are on the lower end along with testosterone, Dhea, and progesterone. I am coming off of a very stressful lifestyle so I know that plays a large role.

Hi Dr! At 15 dpo my hcg was 10 and progesterone 5, This is my second pregnancy after a miscarriage at 5 weeks which I think it will end soon.... I was on progesterone since the beginning on this one (200mg suppositories) and my tsh is 5 (I am on levothyroxine). No other problems with me and my partner.Any opinions on my situation? Would you prescribe progesterone supplements to someone 7 weeks pregnant with progesterone of 11.6? My OB says it’s fine since it’s over 5 but I thought 20 was ideal. I don’t want to lose this pregnancy so I’ve just gotten some 200 mg suppositories on my own.
@@seemapatel3399 yes but I believe it was because I got enough supplements to get me to 2nd trimester. My progesterone went up to 16.8 which wasn’t a big shift at all. I’m almost 14 weeks. 🙌🏾
@@consuelasierra5495 I knew a lady who was going through IVF and had some left over once she conceived. It was exactly enough to get me to 13 weeks pregnant and my son is almost 8 weeks old now. 🥰🙏🏾
My Luteal phase is 12 days, I have a stable 0.4 degree Celsius temperature rise until 11 days post ovulation, I have no spotting but my progesterone level barely gets above the level that just confirms ovulation. Should I be worried? Thanks for your videos doc!
When is the exact time for some one to take the progesterone? Is it after menstruation or during ovulation to get the best results? Is it injection or tablet? Thanks so much for helping us
If you have estrogen dominance, first thing to do is liver cleanse and detox. Progesterone cream won’t help, I tried before. Marc is right. Once body is cleansed with the right diet, it will function normally.
and when I asked my doctor what I could do to test my progesterone levels or raise progesterone if needed, his answer was: "there's no test for progesterone. If you want to regulate your hormones, go on the pill.". Simply pathetic
