And ozora kensetsu with amelia come to stop them and give kanata some gorila power *Ame : i got better stuff kanata senp i mean chan keep it secret from subaru sempai
I, too, like to blend in with other normal human persons as the totally normal human being that I am. Shall we congregate together, other normal human person?
Yup. Feel bad for them both, but I think Kanata has/had it worse. Ame seemingly has a good family relationship, Kanata didn't/doesn't. Also Ame gives me the vibes of a girl who hung out with the less popular boys in school, while Kanata said she didn't really have many friends. Kanata also is still having issues, losing hearing, sleep apnea, Coco might move(?), etc. It really sucks because Kanata seems like a great hardworking person, but she keeps getting dealt shitty cards and always has to fight for her happiness
@@__aceofspades God gives his toughest battles to his strongest angels as they say. As Bondrewd once said: Her psyche sprang up from a darker place, she'll be alright.
I see, so she got her monstrous grip strength by breaking her fingers over and over again Like how Thai kickboxers strengthen their shins by kicking trees and fracturing them so they grow back stronger
@@MrCh0o look up "the whole shabangs" chips. there's videos about how prisoners loved it so much that some went back to prison to eat it, since it wasn't (at that time) available outside of prison
While that's true for muscles and possibly bones, I think I recall that fracturing/damaging your bones could cause them to break easier later or even weaken their structural integrity. So I wonder how exactly that works.
@@seishinaozora5839 it's microfractures that strengthen bone. Big damage like getting your femur snapped in half is the kind of damage that results in permanent injuries. This is why conditioning training, which is basically giving yourself microfractures over and over and over again by doing something like punching soft wood, can be very dangerous. Since you don't know the extent of the damage being done, whether it's just a microfracture or you've wrecked your knuckles, most martial artists today only do conditioning on softer stuff like a heavy punching bag
Considering some people would break their arms on purpose so they can get prescription painkillers. Yea it's basically drug addiction, just on a smaller, child-friendly scale.
Well, at least throwing up isn't neccesarily too painful nor that much of a permanent damage risk (I guess there's esophagus cancer that could be indirectly caused by acid reflux and same probably holds true for constantly induced vomiting...)
Kanata's impressive grip strength can probably be explained by the repeated bruising of the muscles in her fingers repairing itself, becoming stronger with scar tissue over time.
It's not really masochism, since she didn't enjoy the part where she was injuring herself. It was an untreated drug addiction, because she got hooked on literal painkillers and was willing to harm herself to get more. The health teacher should've realised what was happening when a student is coming in 2-3 times each week asking for painkillers with the same injury each time, and provided support for her mental health rather than simply cutting off the supply.
@@altsadhara What a drug addiction? Mate... you seriously think there are pain killers in a patch for children? LOL Mate, these are local analgesics like camphor and menthol and methyl salicylate - they just irritate your skin and create a cooling feeling and smell good.
@@anagittigana She had a psychological addiction to the feeling of the patch, not a physical addiction to any actual ingredients. Repeatedly harming oneself to get more is literally a textbook example of an unhealthy addiction, and shouldn't be overlooked just because opiods aren't present.
Considering the story where she ate grass for hunger, it sounds like she was neglected as a child, leading to this behavior. The point of getting injured wasn't the pain or the patch, the point was about someone recognizing and taking care of her, granting her the patch. If the patches were freely available on self-service stand instead, it would become pointless.
think of people addicted to spicy food. it hurts yet they eat it. y? cause brain release pleasure hormones alongside to reliefing pain. this is same but extreme and artificially induced
that day, Kanata wanted to get her daily dose of patches and instead of asking where can she buy it and save some of her allowance for it, she chose violence
This reminds of the time when I was in elementary school. I really liked band aids, I have no idea why to this day, probably cause I thought they looked cool but I just liked them. The problem was that I rarely got injured and I didn't get band aids as frequently due to this so I started purposely scraping and cutting my hands or some where else at times. Now that I think of it, cutting and scraping for band aids was not worth it. Anyway, everyone should remember to not get addicted to things that will lead you to harm yourselves.
Kids at that age get addicted to strange things When I was that age I was addicted to the smell of mosquito coils and insect repellent, and the smell of burning cardboard and leaves
Now I wonder the origin of Kanata's super strength, she not only has super human physical strength but also a pain tolerance at the level of anime protagonist, probably if I was a student passing by in the hallway and saw this scene of Kanata hitting her own finger I would have been very scared, also I laughed a lot because the video still ends with her saying that it is perfectly normal
Hmm theory time: Maybe she did it on all her fingers and her hands and now has a higher pain threshold because of that. That's why she has a strong grip strength, because it doesn't hurt her gripping things strongly.
Wait ! So she spent a lot of time hurting her fingers over and over, potentially breaking them ? If we take into account the fact that, in the body, what is broken or hurt will repair itself and become stronger and sturdier in the process, this might be an explanation on why her fingers are so strong. Doesn't fully explain the insane grip strenght, but I think that's a first clue that deserves attention
so the reason for her 50kilo grip was because her finger develop thick muscle to protect it self because she kept spraining them to get relief patches narohodo narohodo
maybe that's where she got her grip strength, I dunno if its related but maybe her fingers got hard and tough from all the banging and developed a resistance like when you exercise or something.
I'm the complete opposite, I did everything in my power to avoid medicine or painkillers. I remember when I was younger then I used to get cuts and scrapes from playing sports on concrete or gravel and whenever a teacher tried giving me a plaster(bandaid) then I'd refuse and go back to playing. Now, I obviously use them cause I don't want my clothes getting covered in blood
