in my place, online taxi kinda gang up! no kidding so there some case a customer give bad review for the driver(dont know the detail tho) and someday latter that driver came with his friends to said customer. kinda intimidating and police almost involved!

Considering their vtuber voice is close to their real one, they have to make a whole another identity to mask their personal life further. That means 3 identities: irl, vtuber, and *alt*

i think Kanata has said that she even talks on a lower tone with her mom, i guess it may not be always, but she did mentioned and her mom pointing that she sounded weird and different than usual.< i don't know about other, but for some it may be a constant danger, Noel commented a while back about Senchou's voice being way to recognizable and how she had tell her to be more quiet when they went to comiket xDD
Most of the other Holoparents seem more than happy about their daughter becoming a successful cartoon entertainer, but I'll give Kanata the benefit of the doubt and assume she has a very good reason for hiding her job. I forget *exactly* why, but Kanata is currently keeping being a VTuber hidden from Sayuri because she expects Sayuri will have some sort of bad reaction to it. Their relationship is complex, and has its upsides as well, but describing it as "not the best" seems totally fair.

Kanata's hiding her vtubing activities from Sayuri coz Sayuri doesn't like idol culture, just like most Kaigainiki. Unfortunately for her Kanata wants to be an idol, she adores it. Chances are that if Kanata is getting paid properly then Sayuri will accept her vtubing career. At least, that was the case with Kaichou and Papa Doragon.

I dunno man, their relationship isn't exactly bad but its a weird one. Her start kinda made me think a bit bad about her mum. The fact she has to hide the fact she is a vtuber kinda makes me think she wouldn't approve.

(i think) its still not safe.. when kanata use her family name and if she found out that she is vtuber and some "yabai" fans/people knew her family name, she could be track-ed/they could find her using her family name.. and if she is found out, that could cause "domino effect"(as kanata said), like "they" could stalking kanata to find out other holomemb's (when kanata hangout with them) and more... but i dont really know if its really possible though.., but (i think) there's posibility, she got found out just because her family name....

Basically the same old "You should work as a (stable job) instead of (job that's too weird/low wage for boomers)" There's already been a case of a vtuber forcedly stopping her vtuber career coz her parents didn't like it (she was indie iirc) so I guess Kanata is just beung cautious.

(It's bren clipped) According to Heimins, (Kanata fans) Kanata actually talks about her mom a lot. You wouldn't do that if you hated your mom.
