90-93 Honda Accord K24 Engine Swap Series - Episode 3 

Concerns of radiator clearance and wire harness reaching came to mind.

Had concerns of radiator clearance and also if the wire harness pigtails would reach.

RSX Type-S has almost everything in one car. Or gotta do a recipe with a k24, with RSX-S/EP3 engine harness, ECU. Transmission can use RSX-S, base model RSX, EP3 or TSX depending which gearing you’d like.

@@randomrebuilds thanks for the info. I’ve been looking at wrecked vehicles in my area to try to find a donor before it ends up in the junkyard and picked apart by vultures! On the 5 lug and manual conversion, would those parts work? I kinda got lost in the knuckles, shifter cables, etc. I’m probably going to have to watch all the videos again!

@@jonhalldavif you can find a whole rsx-type s or a tsx type s that's going to give you most of the oem parts to use. Preferably 2005-06 over 04-05. Not only will that give you the most compatible parts but also the better versions of the k20 or k24 with true 3 cam lobe vtec as well as vtec on both intake and exhaust cans whereas most other K series are intake only vtec. From there you can go to different block/head/intake manifold combos but the easiest way to start and stay stock are one of those 2 cars. I'm not sure about the brakes, they do work on civics as long as you get new rear trailing arms and come from a 32mm axle car and I assume accord would be similar. Many times you have to use the hubs from the rsx/crv/04-05 ep3 but then depending on year rotors and calipers from a different honda. To do a 5 lug there are combos with parts from 1992-2015 legend, cl, tl, prelude, integra, rsx, crv that can work it's just a matter of pairing then together correctly. Check out youngstatic on youtube. Only does honda's and just did a 5 lug series last month.
